Villa vacation rentals in Paquera

My husband come to Santa Teresa two times per year, and we finally found an awesome place near the beach. Julie‘s place was everything you needed! It was right next to a café for breakfast, and a great little bar for sunsets and dinner. Only five minute walk to the beach. The Villa had everything you needed to make dinner and food at home. The pool was amazing and shaded. Will definitely be back! Thanks, Julie!

Great cafe near by good spacious place

Great place in beautiful surroundings within walking distance to the beach, several restaurants and cafes and activities. When we arrived, there were power stops for 20 hours that made the stay challenging ( no A/C blah) but they sort out fine and eventually gave good information and compensation. Recommended

La Perla is a lovely home and garden. We enjoyed our time, hanging around the house and pool...and we saw a lot of wild life right in the yard (howler monkeys, iguanas/lizards, crabs, parakeets, other lovely birds). It is a short walk to the beach to watch great sunsets or walk in the interesting tide pools. You are in close walking distance to Playa Hermosa (15-20min), which is the nicest beach for swimming in our opinion. Most importantly, you are not in the busy Santa Teresa stretch - you are north of it. The house is close to the road so you will hear traffic but not a huge deal and did not affect sleeps. Raphaelle was great at responding to any questions and providing suggestions. She arranged our transport to/from the airport and our ATV so that it was there when we arrived. The daily cleaning is also nice.

The house is great, comfortable beds, great bathrooms etc. The pool is awesome for relaxing, the gated community with patrols really makes you feel safe. The house is right on the beach... maybe 15 feet to the water. When you read about playa tivives, they often mention crocodiles etc.. That is NOT by the house. That is far up the beach where the river comes to the Ocean. We walked to the river in hopes of seeing some crocs but did not see them. The house is just straight, awesome beach. Very private and relaxing. Finally, we paid extra to have the lady Yendry come in the mornings.. she made awesome breakfasts for us (different and delicious each day) and even a few dinners. Cleaned the house, did laundry, including our clothes. It was nice to wake up to a home cooked breakfast, fresh Costa Rican fruit, smoothies for the kids and a fresh cup of coffee for Adults. She did a few dinners too which were great!

This was our first time visiting CR and we were truly impressed with Mar's space. Everything was as described and Mar was kind enough to offer us local recommendations and suggestions while we were there. Would absolutely come back again!

The house and surrounding environment was incredibly we saw many animals including monkeys, butterflies, curious squirrels and many colourful birds where especially the hummingbirds gets very close to you if you wish. Anne-Laures is ever helpful and fast responding if you have questions about anything 😊. The place is literally almost in the jungle with a view above it and over the ocean and that is only a 10 minute drive in your 4x4 car. This place is over-the-top awesome. Soaring ocean views, but the center of town is just down the hill. The two bedrooms upstairs had epic views and super comfortable king beds, and the third bedroom downstairs was perfect for the kids. Eti, the host, was super responsive and helped us book all kinds of adventures throughout our stay. There was daily cleaning and laundry from friendly staff. It's basically your own private luxury hotel in one of the world's perfect surf towns.

Villa Laya is truly spectacular. The house offers privacy and is very well designed offering spectacular views from every room. Bernice was a great host and was very helpful. I’ve stayed in a lot of AirBnb’s and this one was truly special. I seriously can’t recommend it enough!

There are few words that can accurately describe the beauty of Edgar’s home and its surroundings. It really is something you have to experience to understand. The home is stunning. Situated steps from one of the most amazing beaches you have ever seen, with mountains on both sides and the clear pacific in front. The only sad part is the trash that does wash up - but that speaks to the state of our oceans, not of the home. Edgar himself was one of the absolute best hosts I have ever encounter on AirBnB. Even before arriving he was responsive and flexible, making sure everything was perfect for our arrival. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, stocking the house with drinks, toiletries, kitchen essentials, games and toys. He even went out of his way to ask the ages of our kids ahead of time so that he could get the prefect activities for them. And no review would be complete without mentioning Chef Alberto! My wife and I had an amazing week at Villa Akoya. The home was immaculate when we arrived and came stocked with fresh fruit, wine and beer. The sunset views were nothing short of spectacular every night. The support team for the Villa are amazing. Milena, our concierge for our stay was incredibly helpful and kind, suggesting beaches to visit, things to do and restaurants at which to eat. She also arranged transportation for us when needed. Marta, the housekeeper, is there every day between 10a-2p. She keeps the place immaculate and does laundry if needed. The security guard was on duty every night from 5pm until 5am. He was visible but not intrusive. Maintenance kept the pool sparkling, grounds clean and Internet working. While the location is amazing and close to everything, it is also next to a beach access road which means you will hear some traffic (especially at sunset) and it won't feel particularly private. BUT we WILL be going back soon. Highly recommended!

We have been coming to Costa Rica since 1990 and have stayed in many homes in different parts of the country. Casa Juliet is our new favorite. The home is amazing with spectacular views! The location is perfect, just a 5 minute walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The home is very safe, behind a gated entrance. We never locked the doors during our stay. We were 4 couples in the home. because of the layout, we never felt cramped or limited on space. The grounds are beautiful and the pool and patios are large with several separate seating areas. The staff, Clara and Jose were onsite every day for cleaning and maintaining the pool and grounds. Clara also cooked and prepared meals when asked. Our host, Rotem was awesome, he was always available to assist and direct us to the best restaurants and activities and checked in on us often. We can't wait for our next trip to Casa Julliet!

The place was amazing! They look cleaners and maid service was also friendly. The only problem is the raccoons drinking from the pool later at night and crawling on the roof but I think that’s out of their hands. Otherwise it’s the most central spot for anything around Santa Teresa and the host is so responsive!

Lorie and Will were extremely responsive, always helpful and very friendly. They made sure we had everything we needed and even had the house cleaners come mid stay to clean the house. Will had ATVs delivered to us and coordinated their pick up. They went above and beyond to make sure we had the best trip! Highly recommended!! Thx you guys!!!!

An excellent place to vacation

The condominium is beautiful very quiet with private beach, restaurant and supermarket there was no need to leave the house very nice, improved to the photos of advertising and Laura was always attentive to my inquiries and very kind allowed me to be with my 4 dogs. That was the best. We definitely want to come back. Thank you for letting us be in her house.

The house was beautiful. My family had a GREAT time. Would seriously recommend staying here. Loved the pool and all the space. Joel and his wife were extremely friendly and helpful and we all felt very secure there. We rented on short notice and we glad we picked this house. Thank you!

Our stay at Pierre-Alexandre’s house in Playa Hermosa was absolutely perfect! The home was stunning—immaculate, stylishly decorated, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The outdoor area, with its gorgeous pool and lush surroundings, was a highlight, making it hard to leave! Pierre-Alexandre was an outstanding host, incredibly attentive, and quick to respond to any questions we had. He went above and beyond, sharing local tips for nearby beaches, restaurants which felt like the warm hospitality we love. The location is ideal, just steps from the serene Playa Hermosa, offering the perfect mix of tranquility and easy access to Santa Teresa’s vibrant scene. We can’t recommend Pierre-Alexandre’s place enough and are already dreaming of our next visit! Thank you for an amazing experience!

Beautiful stay at Villa Shemesh, a scenic and peaceful house tucked away in nature! I would absolutely recommend this place. - Very clean and comfortable house, the furniture is high quality and the design choices are calming and comfortable at the same time - You feel tucked away in nature and isolated in the best way - Very responsive host at various hours of the day, which made us feel welcome and cared for - Beautiful birds visiting every day - Private pool for some downtime and cooling moments on the particularly hotter days - Ample amounts of towels and supplies for all guests - Daily kind cleaning personnel For Awareness: - the drive up to the villa is very steep, you will need to take it slow and have a 4x4 - the living room does not have A/C, sometimes hard to enjoy the space due to heat or when cooking Overall incredible house!
