The pictures were accurate and the place was spotless Laura the host was flawless, she’s was constantly available - giving us suggestions and advice through out our stay, very attentive and made our stay so much more enjoyable with the use of local knowledge. Pricilla and Pia were absolutely amazing hosts! From the moment we arrived, it felt like we had an extended family in Costa Rica. They were always just a message away—whether it was for a quick question or an unexpected emergency (our little daughter spiked a fever and needed to see a doctor), they were there with immediate support, kindness, and guidance. Their recommendations for things to do, places to eat, and local services were all top-notch and made our trip even more special. Thanks to them, we felt safe, informed, and incredibly well taken care of. My family—including our three young kids—had the time of our lives at the Seamonkey. We left with unforgettable memories and full hearts. Highly recommend this incredible stay to anyone visiting the area!

Our friends rented this house a year ago and loved it so much that we decided to book it for our honeymoon, and we are happy we did. The Casa Mirame concierge team made everything flawless - from restaurant recommendations and setting up excursions, to even booking our 4x4 rental at the Cobano Airport. You need 4x4. The road is steep and partially unpaved. However, the drive is more than worth it. The home is spotless, includes daily maid service, looks better than the photos, and the views are magical. The place is totally private, and the pool is AMAZING. We would watch birds and listen to monkeys and the waves in the distance while the sun set.

The house is really nicely done and the outdoor area and view are fantastic. The inside is very nice and there is a good amount of provided things to run a proper house. Only suggestion was to make the washing machine available to guests since it is listed as part of the house but sounds like a guest may have abused them. Otherwise would def come back (but will show them I know how to wash clothes like a human). Hill is very steep so do need a 4x4 or atv to go down to the beach but Rocamar is a minute away so it’s not so bad but walking would be a bit hard. If you surf it’s amazing since you overlook a good surf break so you know before you go if it’s breaking:)

We had a great time at Villa Lasai! Sophie- the concierge, did a great job assisting us with anything we needed and the house itself is exactly what you see on the pictures- gorgeous with breathtaking views, great pool and outdoor area. I am not an early bird by any means but I enjoyed waking up early in this house a lot- hearing all the forest inhabitants, ocean waves breaking somewhere further make you want to start your day to see/feel more of that. The house is located up the hill and the road is partially paved which took us one full round trip to get used to, but once you get a hang of it- it’s totally fine just a bit bumpy. In terms of proximity to everything the location is great, once you’re down the hill- you’re on the main street of Santa Teresa with all the restaurants, shops and tons of ocean access points. Overall, would definitely recommend Villa Lasai and would love to come back here some time in the future!

Amazing villa with amazing stuff!

Diane’s place far exceeded our expectations. Great location, very tastefully decorated. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was there and available. The setting is amazing, looking out over the jungle and seeing the monkeys off the balcony. The sounds in the morning and evening are amazing. Great pool, grill etc etc. We would come back here in a heart beat.

We loved our stay!! Absolutely beautiful interior design. Great lighting in the house, comfortable beds and a/c in every room. The pool and lounge chairs were great as well. They also provided beach towels for us and beach foldable chairs which was a nice touch. The location is really great, I personally would say you need a 4x4 to get up the hill (which is normally the case in santa teresa villas) so other than that, the location is very centric to the best restaurants and nice parts of the beach! We had a great stay for our friend’s Bachelorette! If driving, it may be a tough to find, the outside gate is not marked, but the local shuttle drivers know where it is. We were had contact with house manager, Leo, he helped with arranging meals, groceries, transportation, excursions and answered all questions. He was welcoming and patience. The cook was great, the meals she prepped were the best during our stay. The house was gorgeous, felt private, clean and very spacious for the 8 of us (just keep in mind that you’re in the jungle so expect lots of bugs and birds!). The bedrooms had ice cold AC, were spacious and very comfortable. The views are STUNNING and the pool was perfect. It was a 5-10 minute walk to Tango Mar Hotel and the beach.

Yonatan’s home and hospitality is the best experience I have ever had on AirBnb—the house is stunning, Yonatan’s communication was beyond excellent. He set up cabs for us, gave amazing restaurant recommendations, had a private link to set up excursions with Local Bird, a great delivery service to get groceries (SippDelivery) and had beer and wine and treats from the AMAZING local bakery waiting for us upon arrival. The beds are soooo comfortable and laundered to perfection by the housekeeper, Deyling, who comes every day. We brought my parents as a gift and it was a gift to us all that we chose Villa Kaleo. The pool is great, the view is gorgeous. We saw white face monkeys, iguanas, heard howler monkeys—all around the house. Highly recommend horseback riding with Oscar as well. GO!

This is truly the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at, and I’ve stayed at plenty. Adriana was super responsive from a month prior. Any questions I had, she was quick to respond and she was super informative. She helped me get set up with my ferry and hiring a private chef for my boyfriend’s 30th birthday dinner at the Airbnb. It was a nice surprise to have security at night time - who by the way was so kind. We felt super safe. We had on site staff in the morning that help maintained our pool and our house. They were amazing. Thank you to the staff there. There is construction next door but it never bothered us. When we were swimming in the pool, they had speakers we could use that helped with the noise. The view was super breathing taking too, that the noise felt like it was never there. The house itself, 3 bedrooms with 4 bathrooms. All spacious, all clean, huge, beds were super comfortable. I really loved my stay here. It was the best place my bf and I have been to. We will be back

Edgar is by far the friendliest host we've ever dealt with. He's the very definition of hands on, responsive and helpful. He instantly dealt with any request, and bend over backwards to ensure we had a 5 Star experience at his beautiful beach home. His recommendations for local restaurants, experiences, and destinations were equally as helpful and appreciated. The house is every bit as gorgeous as the pictures, and the indoor/outdoor lifestyle was clearly explained in the description and during follow up messages with Edgar. As long as you fully understand the living space is open to the elements, you'll not be disappointed. Lastly, when my family was returning from a day trip to Monteverde Cloud Forest, we got caught up in a major road closure. It was a multi-hour delay that was a bit stressful given the very young children in our family group. Edgar spent much of his personal time attempting to help us find an alternative route home. Can't say enough about our wonderful stay!

This place is amazing! Great location right on the beach, beautiful interior space with absolutely stunning ocean view. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was incredible. The pool is a great was to cool off and the deck was a great place to lounge and just enjoy life.

I celebrated my birthday with my family in Picasa and was amazed not just the beautiful property but also Pierre- our host! I knew I picked the right place to celebrate. We had everything we needed & was accessible to everything. The place was an oasis & able to celebrate & spend quality time with my family. Thank you Pierre, we will be back. You were so warm & every one of us loved our stay!

Our stay in Santa Teresa was absolutely incredible, and this home was a huge part of that experience. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the breathtaking ocean views—there really is nothing like waking up to the sound of waves and glimpsing the turquoise water on the horizon. Throughout my stay, I could hear monkeys and other wildlife in the distance. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. Roy was an outstanding host. He was extremely attentive and always responded to my questions right away, making the whole trip stress-free.

My wife, 4 year old daughter, and 1 year old son had the best time at Julie’s place. Air con cranks, boho decor, beautiful front porch! The landscaping was amazing and the pool was perfect for the kids. Monkeys swing over you in the pool during the afternoon. Super close walk to beach to surf! Julie answered all our questions promptly and provided us with great recommendations. We rode horses during sunset referred by Julie and it was awesome! You are at the quieter north end of town. 5 star all the way! Thank you Julie!!!

Inspiring, beautiful, luxurious and a view 10X of what is shared in the photos. Thank you for hosting me. The gated road with evening to late morning security guard outstanding. Gated neighborhood was impressive and secure. The residence here is ample in parking space, very well lit at nighttime and minimal in stairs for ease in accessibility. Exterior facing the valley and ocean with unobstructed view, large pool, comfortable and high-end exterior furniture, all facing the pacific ocean horizon and jungle valley is incredible to enjoy. Insects and bugs non issue, plus its apart far enough from neighbors to enjoy some calm volume level outdoor music. Interior is luxury, with floor to ceiling end wall to wall windows both front side / back side. AC is powerful, wifi too. Dining area, epic, couch tv's are epic. Bathrooms, Master Bedrooms and Guest rooms are all impressive. Everyone speaks to the mountain road upwards to arrive here. Its really nothing for any modern vehicle.

This place is over-the-top awesome. Soaring ocean views, but the center of town is just down the hill. The two bedrooms upstairs had epic views and super comfortable king beds, and the third bedroom downstairs was perfect for the kids. Eti, the host, was super responsive and helped us book all kinds of adventures throughout our stay. There was daily cleaning and laundry from friendly staff. It's basically your own private luxury hotel in one of the world's perfect surf towns.

Absolutely stunning villa in Costa Rica! The property was beautifully maintained, surrounded by lush nature, with Playa Hermosa only a short walk away. The interior was zen, spacious, and comfortable—perfect for a relaxing getaway. What made the stay even more special was the host, Luis who was exceptionally welcoming and responsive, offering great local recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed. Make sure to check out El Facon while you are in town for one of the best meals you will ever have! I can't wait to come back.

Such a wonderful experience a beautiful location. The host was extremely helpful and very communicative. Even when we had a couple of minor issues it was fixable at a convenient time.

Ganz wunderbare Unterkunft. Mitten im Dschungel ganz allein. Die Ausstattung ist sehr schick und neu. Wir wären gern noch länger da geblieben so schön fanden wir es! Die Straßen rund um Santa Teresa sind sehr holprig aber mit langsamen Fahren ging’s. Die Kommunikation war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Ich habe die Unterkunft direkt Freunden empfohlen, die sie nun auch gebucht haben.

Impecable todo, la Vila excelente, todo lo que necesitas para pasar unos dias alucinantes. La vista es increible, y la casa super comoda. No daban ganas de irse. Muy buena atención de Tomas, nos recibio como en casa y siempre estuvo predispuesto.
