It was our first time in the area and since before booking it, Lorna was very attentive explaining and recommending places to visit. Adonis welcomes you on site, and he was always super attentive, friendly and willing to help you with everything, from where to eat to how to get to the beaches and show you around the place. By the way, it is divine in the middle of many trees, the sound of birds and a visit from the howler monkeys. The apartment is super well equipped, clean, white and beautiful natural light. The village has a beautiful vibe, the beach has a lot of stones but that's its charm. The icing on the cake are Luna and Toby who accompany you on walks and in the pool between a very light shade to relax in the afternoon. We will definitely be back🫶🏼.

I am basing my review on my interactions with the host, Geraldo. AirBnBs ratings are competitive so I will rate this unconventionally. There are some improvements to be made, but being a new listing and host, Geraldo seems committed to making this into an ideal AirBnB. People booking should be aware this is “off the beaten path”. If you don’t know how roads can be in rural Costa Rica (sometimes rough) and unwilling to experience OR you hope to be closer to all the action, this one isn’t for you. BUT if you want some peace from the hustle of Santa Teresa and to experience Costa Rican nature like listening to howler monkeys in the bush, this place delivers. It does have good proximity for getting down to the beaches. The whole house has hot water! The a/c is cold, deck has nice views. Pool is more of a soaker tub. Beds were comfy for us. Kitchen fully equipped with stove/oven. The host is super responsive. Non-Ticos, plan to filter or bring in bottled water as precaution.

Excellent place, everything was very beautiful, unique beaches, the kayak tour was spectacular, the bioluminescence is unique in the world. The best part was the neighbors of Isla Cedros, Don Beto and his attentions, the food at Beto's restaurant was extraordinary. I recommend it 100%.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how clean, beautifully designed, and well-stocked the space was. The host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful — they made sure we had everything we needed and even left a few personal touches that made us feel right at home. The location was ideal — close enough to everything we wanted to explore, yet peaceful and quiet at night. Whether we were relaxing on the patio, enjoying the local scenery, or cooking in the fully-equipped kitchen, every moment felt effortless and enjoyable. We were very happy with our stay here! Galit and Dan were amazing hosts, responsive to any questions we had and provided great suggestions for restaurants and things to do in the area. This is a beautiful place to spend your time in Costa Rica, and it is in a great location to explore Montezuma and other areas throughout the peninsula. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend booking here.

Really beautiful property with all creature comforts. Private pool was a wonderful place to play and hang out. Short walk to almost completely private beach. Groceries and restaurants near by.

This house is an absolute gem 💎 Incredible quiet location. You are surrounded by nature and incredible trees. It felt like we were living with the monkeys. The architecture of the house is very modern. Very well equipped. We made good use of the binoculars to spot the monkeys, toucans iguanas and birds in the morning. The pool and its surroundings are stunning.. personally my favourite thing about the house. And so many pretty flowers everywhere! We were all very sad to leave but will definitely come back next year! Thank you for everything.

A very nice accommodation, with everything you need to have a pleasant time with the family, in a quiet area, surrounded by nature. It's exactly as described in the photographs. There is a supermarket nearby with basic things. Communication with Blake is good, he answers your questions quickly.

Our family of three adults, a preteen, 4year old and 1 year old had a wonderful stay. More than enough room. The place was exactly as described. Absolutely stunning. Everything and more you could ever need. We never left the outdoor/ pool area. The casita was a lovely edition for my sister in law. We had a small issue the day after check in but hosts were quick to respond and resolve the issue. Place was immaculately Clean. The community itself is fantastic. Restaurant on site was nice to have available. Highly recommend staying at Macaw Haven.

Eric and Teresita's apartment is beautiful and in a perfect location within a vertical condominium. Thanks to its location on the 10th floor, there is natural ventilation, and it is almost unnecessary to use the air conditioning. The apartment has everything you need to feel at home. In addition, the beach club is very nice and complete. It has 3 pools, one for children, and two jacuzzis with ocean views. Also beach access in a safe, quiet and beautiful area. We saw toucans, guacayamas, and white-faced monkeys, among other beautiful animals. Definitely a place to go as a couple, or with children like us. A beautiful place

Caroline is a first-class host! She's responsive, an excellent communicator, and made us feel cared for throughout our stay. Her place is beautiful, comfortable, and well-appointed, with many luxurious touches not commonly found in AirBNBs. The condo is in a lovely, guard-gated development and very private. Check-in was flexible and easy, and she provided a comprehensive booklet about the condo and area, including contact data, activities, shopping, dining recommendations, spa treatments, etc. The condo includes Los Suenos Beach Club access, which is outstanding and across the street from the development. There is also a private pool right behind the condo. In addition to being a great place to stay, Caroline made our vacation extra special by providing personal touches like special towels for make-up removal, helpful notes, gourmet coffee, Turkish beach towels, etc. In short, our stay was outstanding! A solid five stars, and I highly recommend Caroline's place to all!

Melissa’s place has a beautiful view and we love hanging out in Los suenos. Also she is very responsive as we had to troubleshoot Internet due to a provider issue. She stayed with it and brokered communication until they fixed their issue. Much appreciated!

Marisa’s Airbnb is in the perfect location in the heart of Santa Teresa - just steps away from the supermarket, gym, surf shops, and the main surf spots. Beyond the unbeatable convenience, the stay itself was fantastic. Marisa is the sweetest host—super welcoming, incredibly helpful, and always responsive. We even got to hang out beyond the Airbnb space and become friends, which made the experience even more special. We can’t wait to come back and see her again soon!

excellent location. close to very good beaches on both sides. would not bother with the local restaurant as you can get tastier and cheaper meals outside the complex. the place is as advertised. very clean and cozy. highly recommend if using as a base for all of the other beaches in the area. very satisfied.

The apartment is excellent, clean and comfortable. I loved the location and that near the pool you have access to the sea and that you don't have to take the car to be able to go to the pool and the sea, I thought it was excellent. Orlando is super efficient and kind. We will definitely be back and I recommend it!
