Beach Cabin Guesthouse with Patio Deck

Our charming Seahorse cottage is steps from the ocean & beach --as well as nightlife, shopping and dining within walking distance (3 min). It is a studio with a kitchenette and all the amenities necessary for a comfortable stay. Included is WIFI, cable tv, parking and a patio to unwind. For the back cottage (seahorse) you will have front door access located closest to the parking area. Access to get in is via a 4 digit code that we manage for you. It is a code that will last your entire stay. Along with access, you will also have two parking spots for cars to park. Parking in OB is scarce so this indeed is a bonus! Your stay as our guest is our top priority. Even though we do not need to be onsite (we give you a 4 digit code that gives you a key) we are always available to you should you need us, via text, email and/or phone. We want you to enjoy your vacation but know that everyone interacts differently. If you need help, advice on places to eat, visit or even how to get there do not hesitate to reach out for clarification or advice. We love our city and cottages so we want you to have a wonderful experience while visiting our favorite beach --Ocean Beach. Ocean Beach is a coastal community northwest of downtown San Diego. It is bohemian in nature and brings a very relaxed and eclectic mix of visitors. The main strip on Newport Avenue is only 2 few short and flat blocks away. It has great places to eat, drink and sjop at the many boutiques. The best part of staying in OB is that you really don't need a car here--you can catch a ride with uber from the airport to the beach cottages for less than $15 or a cab, uber or lyft for a bit more ($15-20 to our beach cottages)

Would definitely stay here again. The location is perfect. By noon the clouds burn off and it is in the 80s and perfect for laying out at the pool. Super close to grocery stores as well.

Laura's spot at the Viva Beach Life resort was exactly the peaceful getaway I needed! Stayed 4 days (3/22 to 3/26) and loved every minute—the simple pleasure of waking up to incredible ocean views, coffee cup in hand, NPR & you're literally steps from Mission Beach. Pictures don't do it justice; the place is even better in person & just as described. Laura was amazing—super responsive & made sure everything was perfect. Hands down, this is my new go-to spot for San Diego beach life. Highly recommend VBL if you're looking for a chill, quiet, peaceful vibe with an unbeatable location! Laura, you're the BEST! *Special Note* The garage parking may be tight for some larger cars, trucks, etc. I'm horrible at parking in tight spaces, but I found *free* overnight parking a block away heading west toward Mission Beach, aprx 50 spaces, & additional parking w/ limited parking hours (4am - 10pm). Also, be sure to bring a pad & pen if you would like to leave a note or jot something down. Enjoy!

Chris was an amazing host and I would definitely stay at this property again. It was a central location to the airport and an event we attended in Escondido. The surrounding neighborhoods had everything we needed; shopping, food, and beautiful views. All of the amenities at the property went above and beyond - including the gaming area in the family room and garage. One of the sinks were leaking during the visit and Chris was not only came by himself to check it out (at a time that accommodated us), but he incentivized our visit with a gift card for the inconvenience. A wonderful host and a wonderful property. I can’t wait to bring more friends and family and stay at this place again! Thank you so much Chris!

Dulei was a great host. Her place was clean, neat and equipped with basic needs. The nespresso machine was awesome. My toddler loved the books. Dulei was a great communicator. She was responsive and always positive and pleasant in her messages. The location was also great. It was a very nice neighborhood and safe place to stay. It was a great place for families. This townhouse was clean, in a great location, the kitchen supplied cooking and baking pans. It was great to have a garage and backyard. Going in the backyard every morning and picking a fresh orange off the tree was delightful. The rooftop porch with lifeguard chairs was fun with a partial Ocean view and beautiful sunsets. There was no shampoo or conditioner or shower soap for the 2 bathrooms. However, once we let them know, they brought some over. Overall it was an excellent stay! I would recommend this Town house!

Can see from Tijuana to downtown SD and Coronado. Oranges in backyard were delicious and lots of nice flowers that attract birds (including hummingbirds). Would stay again
