Vacation rentals with a kayak in Pacific Beach, San Diego

This place is pretty awesome! Great for a family or some friends. It is the first floor of a house that is right on the bay. The bay water is very peaceful/calm and the beach side (more waves) is a short walk away. Lots of people in this area walk and biking around. Beautiful views of the water from inside and the patios. Would stay again!

Cindy’s place was a great place to stay while in San Diego. Her house is great for a small family! They even had toys and books for the kids to play with. The yard is fenced in so they could play out front. The house was beautiful and perfect.

My family enjoyed our stay at Victoria’s. Some of my favorite features included: the rooftop deck, easy walk to the beach and eateries and coffee. The home was well equipped with beach essentials, bathroom toiletries, and basic kitchen items. The refrigerator had an ice maker and water dispenser, too. The two parking spots are tight but that is typical of any mission beach house. I would definitely rebook!

Cozy place well located with plenty to do within walking distance. Parking was tight but seems like all of the places in that location are — go for a smaller car/SUV. Diana was very responsive. In fact we were having trouble with the door code (user error not her fault) and she noticed a few failed attempts and called us before I even had a chance to text for help. Great experience with this host, I would highly recommend.

Can’t say enough about how beautiful the entire property is! Well stocked, very clean, great location, 2 parking spots (1 perfect for our large SUV), just great to spend a week with our family!!

Great, quiet place. Everything as pictured. Perfect layout for our group of 2 couples and 3 single adults. All rooms are nice. The bunk beds were super comfy and made it so no one was stuck with the couch in the living room. Parking for one car. No problems finding street parking, usually on the same block. Not more than 2 blocks away. Nice neighborhood. Close to beach. Coffee spot, ramen and burgers/pub all within walking distance. CVS, groceries, and great ice cream are a short drive. Little free library next door! Highly recommend this one!

Thank you Steve. Having our pets with us during a remodel of our apartment was important to us. The jacuzzi was an amazing amenity. Thank you so much for everything. We hope to come back soon for a stay-cation!

Great spot for a large family! Everyone had their own bathroom, and two rooms being upstairs meant the adults could hang out late while the kids slept! We rented a Suburban and were concerned about parking in the garage, but figured out the way to do it was to back in and take both parking spots!! We were pleasantly surprised yo find beach chairs, toys and a surplus of beach towels. The jacuzzi was clean and the rooftop was great for fireworks.

A beautiful location. The landscaping was well designed and continued a large variety of plants and trees. That along with a couple of fountains really made the place relaxing. Very little noise and good privacy.

Such a great location. And very lovely cottage. Perfect for two adults, two kids and our dog. Cheryl was responsive and friendly. Can’t wait to stay there again!

This is place was perfect for my stay in San Diego with my kids. The location is perfect. Easy walking distance to the bay, the ocean and Belmont park. The place was very clean and kitchen well stocked with everything you need if you don't want to eat out every meal. Very cool/ comfortable and peaceful patio area with a grill. Karin was very responsive and helped us feel welcome. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage as a young family - great location, cute home that feels like grandma’s house in a very endearing way, and is filled with family-friendly toys, beach accessories, movies, etc. J-me was so responsive and welcoming.

We had an incredible stay at Dawn's home in Mission Beach. She was extremely responsive before and during our stay when we had a question or needed help. The location of her home was perfectly situated for our family- closer to the bay side but only a block or so away from the ocean side. The included toys, games, and books were amazing for our seven year old. We all enjoyed a great bike ride around the bay, too! The kitchen had lots of extra small appliances and amenities that made it easy to cook many meals during our stay. The outdoor firepit and patio made for relaxing evenings with a view of the Sea World fireworks. In the listing, Dawn mentions that the garage is a tight fit for larger vehicles. Parking our minivan was very tight so we appreciated Dawn's heads up that we could keep the garage door open so that we didn't need to use street parking.
