Our guest cottage is directly on a secluded beach, just south of Dominical. A fully equipped kitchen, with 1 bedroom, and living room with a double sleeper/sofa. The sleep/sofa is OK for children but would not work for 2 adults. A covered balcony allows awesome views of the ocean, and wild life, as well as outside dining. Amazing place. Jessie and his family are very friendly and helped us out a lot, we got bananas , fruits and veggies , Costa Rican food specialties for free. . We felt right at home. The place is very clean and private . Beautiful sturdy furniture. It has all that it needs. Beautiful nature around. Cozy little village with very friendly people. . Cheap taxi if you want to get to the villages around. There is a beautiful river and waterfall near by to visit . On the property there are lots of banana trees, yukka plants , coffee plants , Jessies Dad has some special bottle on the terras that he fills out regularly with honey, so Colibri birds come to eat. The little magical Colibri are everywhere such a beautiful sight. Lots of fireflies, mini pigeons, beautiful colorful birds everywhere. Pets friendly. Our pets were extremely happy. Our dog had lots of freedom in the yard . We loved our stay and when we come to Costa Rica we will definitely go back.

The house has everything you could possibly need for mountain adventures, cooking at home or relaxing in the beautiful gardens. Walking distance to grocery stores, the Saturday farmers market, and bakeries. Hammocks on the porch to sit and read a book. Lots of hiking and places to explore a quick drive away. There can be a good bit of noise from the road, so bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. Israel indicated that he was looking into new windows to help insulate the bedrooms a bit from the sound. He was very kind and helpful throughout my stay.

Jamie and Sonia were excellent hosts, any questions they responded right away. The house was even better in person than the pictures depicted. We stayed at the property for 24 days. Almost every day we had a troop of about 20 white faced capuchin monkeys come through the yard between the house and the beach. There were also scarlet macaws that came through almost every day. The beach was beautiful, very clean and just steps from the back door. Jose Luis, the groundskeeper who lives on the property, was great. He takes pride in keeping the property clean, he cleaned the yard twice every single day we were there. It was the most well kept yard around. There is a convenience store just down the street for whatever you need. We were looking for somewhere that was accessible to touristy places without actually being in a tourist area and we got exactly what we were looking for. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks to our hosts and Jose Luis for making our trip an amazing experience!

Very special place. It is semi open in one of the most biodiverse areas on the planet. The place was very clean even if it is always accessible to the outdoors. I would also recommend having a 4x4 to get there. We got two of the worst days in terms of road quality has we arrived during the rain and they decided to "work" on the road the next day. We managed to make it up with a Hyundai Tucson AWD.

A pleasant place to rest, located in a very quiet area and surrounded by nature. The house is super equipped, we literally felt right at home. The location is strategic according to where you want to go, the road is ballast and therefore the recommendation to go in a 4x4 car, but it is part of the adventure. Jordan and Pamela were attentive at all times before the trip and during our stay. The place is ideal to disconnect completely from the daily routine and enjoy the holidays.

Sabrina & Edu couldn’t have been better hosts! Their “end of the world” paradise is quiet & peaceful. Their home cooked meals were delicious & plentiful. The bungalows had thick netting so we could feel the cool night air as we slept. It was fabulous to wake up to all of the birdsongs every morning, They made a special effort to show us birds & animals. We really enjoyed the use of their boat to explore the River where their diverse ecosystem shines in the jungle. We also liked taking the boat on the lagoon to the beach. If you want a quiet and peaceful getaway, this is the place. However, Sabrina is happy to help you with any tours (and there are quite a few to choose from). We will always treasure our time here. :)

Robert’s Casita is in a great location, about mid way between the Marino Ballena National Park (and it’s beaches) and the upper area of Uvita where the bus station, grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops and bank are located. There is also a great farmer’s market on Wednesday’s and Saturday’s within walking distance. The Casita is very comfortable and had everything that we needed. Robert is very friendly and helpful, definitely a five star host.

Rodolfo and Jessica's house is perfectly equipped; nothing is missing. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. The garden is beautiful and the area for the nighttime bonfire is a detail that is greatly appreciated. What I liked the most was the terrace, a space of peace and tranquility where you can listen to nature at its best. As for the service and communication, both were excellent; they were attentive to our needs at all times. They are two very friendly people and committed to customer service, charming! Thank you for sharing your home with us and allowing us to have this pleasant experience.

This was our family’s 5th trip to Pavones . We like to try different places and locations . Giselle’s home was beautiful , spacious and very comfortable. We had a smaller group and it didn’t feel overwhelming as it’s a big place . Outdoor spaces were amazing , and a quick walk to essentially a private beach . (Only saw 1 person over 8 days ) a short walk to La Pina restaurant for a pizza or dinner and only 3-5 minutes from various spots near Pavones point. I will say this was perhaps the most well equipped kitchen and linens we have experienced yet . Oliver the caretaker was quite helpful and his English is fair . Overall a very positive experience. Claire’s home is amazing- you are fully immersed in the magic of the rainforest! Claire is extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. Since you are in the rainforest it is worth it to know that you are about a ten minute drive or so off the main road into the forest. We saw all sorts of animals-monkeys, lizards and anteater and we even got a glimpse of an elusive wild cat one night when driving through the jungle up to her home around 1am. It was MAGICAL. Thank you so much Claire for your helpfulness and hospitality. We would definitely stay here again:)
