Villa vacation rentals in Osa Peninsula

Our stay was great! The place is centrally located, close to grocery stores and restaurants. It was very large, plenty of rooms and bathrooms. The kids loved running around and swinging in the hammocks and the pool. The place could have had some upgrades, like soap in the showers and more absorbent towels - small things that were not a huge bother. There also seemed to only be hot water in the main house.

This place is a paradise. Off the beaten track in the supremely beautiful surrounding forested hills. The accommodation accentuates the tranquillity of the surroundings, with everything thoughtfully designed. Spotless and very comfortable, we had a very happy stay here. Matt and Megan were very helpful and welcoming. You can tell that they love the place and have made beautiful accommodations and gardens. We also loved the pool and pool area, again very nicely furnished. We saw Toucans, humming birds, frogs and Crested Guans. It was so peaceful. There was one other family staying in the nearby stand alone villa next door during part of our stay and there was plenty of space and privacy to share the gardens and pool. There is plenty to do in the local area like Nauyaca Waterfalls and Dominical is close by. We were tempted to bring our robust 2x4 car but we were glad we listened to the advice to have a 4x4 as the driveway needs it. All in all great value and a real highlight. Thank you!

All the reviews on this beautiful home are well deserved. It’s stunning and so thoughtfully designed to a very high standard (I’m an interior designer and can see the thought and love that has gone into the details). The highlight for us was the pool, many a morning and afternoons spent there with our children looking into the jungle and ocean view. Host is so responsive and accommodating. Local area is great too, lots to do but it’s not too touristy either, Thanks so much. If we return to Costa Rica it will 💯 be back to Casa Markissa.

Beautiful home and surroundings. The beds are all super comfortable and 3 private rooms. A short walk to the beach, in gorgeous jungle. Can't wait to return.

Katrin was the best Airbnb host I’ve had. She was super helpful of getting things scheduled for us for activities and she gave a local restaurant. she is on site so if you ever have a question, she would answer it in a quick text or a phone call. Overall, the place was really great. The pool was exceptional. Probably the best pool in all of the area and having the whole house to our self was incredible and being able to have the monkeys and the beautiful jungle in the backyard was amazing. Would highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Costa Rica you’re only five minutes from town at all the fun things. The best beaxh Espadilla is right there and it was a blast.

The house is private and has easy access to a remote beach. The view is very picturesque, and the atmosphere is relaxing. There is staff on site that serves daily breakfast on the private patio. They also tidy up each day just like a hotel. The staff even pointed out monkeys and sloths in the trees on the property. The surrounding area is also beautiful with many things to do, but the place is so nice that you won't want to leave the beachfront property!

This place is a MUST!! It's sp peaceful we never wanted to leave. The town and beach was really close along with some gorgeous waterfalls! The hill going up was a little scary at first and you will definitely want 4 wheel drive especially if it rains but once up there it felt like you was in the middle of the jungle but mins away from society. There was some electric issues when the storm came but Monica was so very helpful and responsive and they had everything you needed. We have shared this with all of our friends and we will be back !

We loved staying here, we were a group with four little ones and it was a great spot to spend the week while exploring the natural wonders that Costa Rica has to offer. The house itself is gorgeous and a short walk to a beautiful baby friendly beach (just be ware that this walk is not stroller friendly). Our host David and Carlos were both extremely responsive and helpful giving us recommendations and booking some activities for us. We used the chefs for a few nights who made us delicious Costa Rican food (chef Freddy and chef Carlos were amazing!) and the cleaning service was so helpful for keeping a house full of little kids clean and sand free. The only thing I would mention for future families is that the balcony (which is beautiful and often times visited by local monkeys) is set into a cliff and requires very watchful eyes to make sure the little ones don’t get too close to the railing. Just something to consider, Overall wonderful stay here and would highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful place. Paradise Pictures don’t do it justice. Sitting on the patio having coffee every morning listening to the sounds of the rainforest is a truly incredible experience. Everything you need is here. There’s a small marketplace and 2 spectacular restaurants about 500meters up the hill. You can walk to them but you better be in great shape. I would recommend driving. Also highly recommend 4 wheel drive vehicle.

We enjoyed this beautiful home for a family reunion and were delighted with everything! Roberto & Diana were always available for friendly advice and support (for the only thing we needed, a replacement bbq propane tank). We hope to return to their place in Uvita

We had an exceptional stay at this Airbnb! From the beginning, our host, Giovanna, was professional, responsive, and incredibly helpful. She was always quick to reply to our messages and went above and beyond with fantastic recommendations for things to do in the area. The home itself was nothing short of spectacular. It was immaculate and thoughtfully designed, with every detail considered. The amenities were truly over the top, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable in every way. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, home or host, and would absolutely stay here again.

Great spot, loved it, lots to do and close to what we wanted to do at coast without quite the people or super hot temps of being right at the beach.

The host went above and beyond, very well in communication and made us feel right at home. Coordinated when we needed some cleaning done during our stay and assisted when picking up our vehicle took much longer than expected after our designated check in. They made sure we were able to find the location of the property since we came in the middle of the night. would love to come and stay again in the future.

Our stay here was absolutely magical and was truly a trip of a lifetime for everyone in my group! It was a girl’s trip for my bachelorette - 11 people total and beyond comfortable for all. We each had our own beds and plenty of space. The housekeeper and maintenance/pool man came daily. There are several terraces and outdoor spaces with equally unique and beautiful views! The villa is even more stunning & impressive in person. We opted to do the all-inclusive private chefs and it was BEYOND WORTH IT and really made our trip so unforgettable! Our chefs Mario & Adrian were absolutely INCREDIBLE; we ate like royalty everyday! The concierge team was so responsive and helpful in planning the trip and making all of our reservations for every type of activity we wanted to do! Excursions, spa day massages at the villa, airport transportation… they will help you book and organize every request! There’s not a single complaint or negative thing that we could say. STOP HESITATING & BOOK IT!!!

This is one of the nicest Airbnb that we have had the opportunity to visit. Adriana was great. The house was amazing, it had everything that we needed. They help arrange our private chef and server, which was delicious. The pool and the view were breathtaking. We wish we would have planned a longer stay and we will definitely be back!

This home really felt like a home away from home. I needed a place to work remotely with no distractions, and this home was perfect for that. There was an issue with ants, but that is to be expected when you're living in the jungle!! Eden was very helpful in doing everything possible to fix the issue. Maria, the cleaning lady, was amazing! The location of the house is about a 5 min drive up a rocky road from the main road, so an ATV is definitely needed. At first, I thought the house was too far, but it was honestly so fun driving up and down with the ATV. The view of the ocean at the top of the hill while surrounded by the jungle also makes the drive worth it.

We had a great stay! Communication with the host was smooth and easy, and the place was exactly as described… if anything, it exceeded our expectations. The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. One note: we were traveling with an elderly family member, and the setup wasn’t the most ideal for them. That said, it would be absolutely perfect for a trip with friends, and I would definitely love to come back!

Great space for families and larger groups. Everyone was comfortable and felt at home. Carolina was very attentive, always responding quickly. She and her team were very kind! Pavones is a finder, especially for those who surf. We recommend and look forward to coming back soon!

The place was beautiful, it’s surrounded of a lot of nature and the house has very nice details. Also it’s very comfortable and the private swimming pool was very pleasant. Jeremy from South Pacific was a great host, he was very attentive and provided us with useful instructions.

This was our second stay with Nannette. The first time we stayed in the bungalow and this time we stayed in the villa. Both are wonderful!! We really loved the extra space inside and outside at the villa, and the pool was a welcome addition. There are so many great touches to discover here... the outdoor shower, an amazing indoor shower, several seating areas to linger and enjoy the property, beautiful artwork, a fully equipped kitchen, I could go on and on. The grounds are maintained beautifully and wild life is visible daily without having to go anywhere. Nannette and her team are great hosts, always going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We are already plotting our return. We have traveled all over Costa Rica and have found we prefer the laid back and uncrowded vibe of the Osa. Thank you Nannette for sharing your paradise with us!!

We loved our stay! The house was beautiful and the bird sightings were amazing. Moises, Abe and Amber were super responsive and helpful. The space was perfect for our party of 8. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone thinking of coming to this area.

Enjoyed our stay here! Ignacio was very responsive and such a great host! When something came up, he was responding within minutes! The house was beautiful and well kept! Really enjoyed the pool!
