House vacation rentals in Olympic Valley

The house was very nice and a short walk to the shops and restaurants. It would be a great place to stay during ski season, unfortunately the mountain closed the day we arrived. You could walk to a very nice rec center as well. It was nice to have all the streaming services on the TV. The kitchen was very well stocked which is important to us since we love to cook. Lori was very responsive to any questions.

Beautiful location in the mountains inland from West Shore/Sunnyside. Large, lovely multi-level home with 4-5 bedrooms and every amenity you need including kitchen, fireplace, hot tub, bbq grill, etc. Biggest advantage is proximity - 3 minute walk - to Sherwood lift. Biggest disadvantage is the drive back to Sunnyside is ~8 minutes to get back to civilization. Biggest surprise was the amazing sunrise over the peakaboo view of Lake Tahoe. 5/5 stars and if you like Alpine Meadows and have all your gear sorted, 6/5 stars.

This Airbnb was absolutely breathtaking—everything I could have asked for and more! From the stunning views to the perfect ambiance, every detail was thoughtfully curated to create an unforgettable stay. The space was immaculate, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. Ryan, the host, was nothing short of amazing. He was super responsive and made sure everything was seamless from start to finish. His hospitality truly elevated the experience! 10/10 would stay here again in a heartbeat. If you’re looking for the perfect getaway, this is it!

What a wonderful place to get together with friends and family. The house is spacious and has many toys and board games. We went during the tail end of winter, as described, there was a slope in the backyard where we were able to sled from it! Hopefully we can go back to it again next winter!

Blue Mountain Haus offers the perfect balance of comfort and convenience. With parking right in front of the unit and a shuttle to the village just two doors down. This beautifully remodeled unit in NorthStar at Tahoe feels like home. Thoughtfully decorated, it offers a warm, inviting atmosphere. The well-appointed kitchen has everything needed for the family chef, seamlessly connecting to the dining and family rooms for quality time together. The cozy living room features ample seating, a gas fireplace, and stunning snow-capped hillside views. A quaint balcony with a bistro table is perfect for coffee, wine, or simply enjoying the scenery. Bedrooms are tastefully decorated with plush mattresses, soft linens, and fresh pillows. A stocked laundry area with new machines keeps up with outdoor adventures. Thoughtful details and communicative hosts made this our most memorable vacation rental. We can’t wait to return for another season of relaxation and adventure! Thank you, Chad!

Our family of five has stayed at the Dancing Bear 4-5 times now because we love the house, neighborhood and location so much. It’s becoming our home away from home and everyone feels so comfortable. We’ll definitely be back.

My boyfriend and I came to Reno for a wedding and decided to stay here and it was definitely the right decision. The host was very responsive and accommodating. Check in was super simple. When walking in we were greeted by soft music playing, a pristine house, and beautiful views. Additionally the bathrooms were stocked with mini toiletries as well as makeup wipes, face masks, and eye masks. As someone who loves skincare I was very excited! Im honestly sad I was not able to stay longer. And finally, checking out was just as easy as checking in. Thank you so much for having us! I’d highly recommend staying here, it’s worth every penny!

We loved our stay at Mark and Chelsea’s. The cabin exceeded all expectations. The home had everything we needed including very comfortable beds, outdoor games, well stocked kitchen and fire pit we used each night for smores. We didn’t use the jacuzzi but it was clean and serviced while we were there. Our 2 year old begged to not leave and we didn’t want to either. Thank you for hosting our very special family vacay.

Our family of 4 has a great peaceful stay at Suzanne's home. We like staying in Tahoe Donner when possible and Suzanne's home was the a great option. She was accomodating to our request before arrival and communicated quickly with questions during our stay. The kids loved discovering the kids rocking chair, sleds, baby books and DVDs! We had an absolutely incredible stay at this beautiful high-end cabin in Truckee. The attention to detail was exceptional—from the luxurious furnishings to the stunning mountain views, every element was thoughtfully curated for comfort and style. The kitchen was fully stocked and perfect for cooking meals after a day of adventure. We especially loved the cozy fireplace, hot tub under the stars, and the peaceful surroundings that made it feel like a true escape. Just a short drive to skiing, downtown Truckee, and Lake Tahoe, the location was unbeatable. This cabin is a gem. What truly set this stay apart was the host. Korri was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. It felt like staying at a five-star retreat with the personal touch of a caring host. Thank you Korri! The location was ideal—secluded enough to feel peaceful, but just minutes from downtown Truckee, ski resorts, and outdoor adventures. Next visit booked already

This was the perfect place for my family's ski vacation. It's very close to the resorts, a very short drive to the main street of Truckee, and very short walking distance to a little shopping plaza with all the basics- grocery, drugstore, ski shop, a few restaurants, etc. The condo complex is nice and peaceful, people are friendly, and the amenities are good too. The apartment itself was excellent. Clean, uncluttered, but had all the basic supplies and stuff that you need but wouldn't bring with you on vacation. Andrew was a friendly and communicative host. It was all in all a very good experience!

I stayed at this lovely home when I was in Truckee for a wedding and it was perfect for my stay. The home was clean and cozy with clear instructions for everything. It is well stocked with plenty of kitchenware, towels, extra blankets, and more. The layout and location were ideal and in a nice quiet neighborhood. There is a big driveway and a garage you can park in. Sean was easy to communicate with and responsive. I didn't need to reach out to him, but it was nice to know he would be available. I would easily stay here again the next time I am up in the Truckee area.

We are a three generation family of nine who love to ski. We were new to Lake Tahoe. This was a wonderful home for our group - each bedroom had a private bathroom as well as a fireplace and TV. The kitchen and living areas were spacious, clean and comfortable. We loved (and used often!) the sauna and hot tub and enjoyed the pool table and game room. Great place that we would be happy to book again.

Excellent stay for our group of 10 (6 adults + 4 kids). Plenty of room for everyone, especially having 6 bathrooms were a huge plus! The place is clean and well stocked and looks just like the pictures. On shuttle route which eliminated the need for driving and parking at the resort. Would definitely stay here again, highly recommend!

This place is absolutely perfect for a couple’s getaway. Walking distance to a beautiful creek and a few great food spots, and a reasonable drive from Emerald Bay, Incline Village, and the quaint town of Truckee. The house is cozy, clean, and feels so peaceful and private. When we come back to Tahoe in the future we will stay at this exact place. It checks every box! Amanda is a kind and proactive host and provides many recommendations in her curated guidebook. 10/10 !!!

The place and location were perfect! The place was pristine. We had everything plus in amenities and items needed for a very pleasant stay. The place was within walking distance of restaurants, shopping and grocery stores. If we ever visit Lake Tahoe again we will definitely stay here.

Lori’s place is adorable and well set up. I really appreciated the heated walkway from the driveway to the front door- no skidding around on ice. Access is super easy. Everything inside is well thought out and organized. It has everything you need - a well stocked kitchen to cook for large families and comfy cozy furniture and exit. It’s not large- but it is so close to the base of Alpine Meadows and the neighborhood is lovely.

This was a 8 day family vacation with my husband and I, our son and his wife along with her parents visiting from Norway. We had more than enough room along with 3 bathrooms so everyone had plenty of privacy. We cooked all of our meals in the large and fully equipped kitchen. There is a BBQ along with a beautiful hot tub for relaxing after a day of downhill skiing at nearby North Star or Palisades. The way the house is built you literally feel like you are in the trees when you look out over the floor to ceiling windows in the back of the house. Also, there is patio furniture with a fire pit off of the eating area that we also enjoyed. There are board games, two TV areas along with 3 workstations with large computers. There is also a yoga area in the downstairs area. This is a beautiful home located in a safe and walkable area. Lori is responsive and easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a place that has everything !!!!
