Above all, the home was beautiful and the host was fantastic. Whenever we had a question, Mg immediately responded even in the evening hours. A delayed flight into Reno and winter storm prevented us from arriving until the next morning, and the host had the driveway cleared that morning so we would not have any problems accessing and unloading. Everything was up to date, clean and comfortable. The in-unit sauna, hot tub and game room were an added plus. The grandkids loved playing in the game room, and the throw-back Arcade console and Chexx Hockey game gave us old folks a chance to show them our 1980's skills. Wi-fi was excellent, floor plan gave us plenty of room to sprawl our travel gear, large kitchen and dining area for the family to enjoy meals together, open ceiling, cozy loft, fireplace, tv's in every room, good temperature throughout, and very modern bathrooms all add up to a place we would want to stay in again. Thanks Mg!

It was a lovely home for my family to enjoy. My kids, ages 16 to 1 year old, loved the space and furniture. There was plenty of entertainment for the weekend, from arcade games to board games to the clean and easy-to-use sauna/hot tub. Next time, we will book this home earlier to enjoy it with the snow.

This was a great property and super conveniently located to the Diamond Peak ski area. The views from the upper and lower level are stunning and the hot tub was well situated to enjoy the snow fall and a view of the lake. A couple items to note: the listing falls under the “ski-on, ski-off” filter, but this isn’t quite true - it’s about a 2-3 minute drive to the ski area. This isn’t a huge deal but not a true ski-on ski-off experience. Additionally, the 10am checkout was tough after two full days of skiing. I think the host would have been more flexible if they weren’t booked back to back, but even so, 10am was a challenge. Lastly, we ran the dishwasher a few times but dishes came out with a bit of a smell, which just indicated the dishwasher filter needed to be replaced - not a big deal. Everything else was great! Highly recommend.

Great Place! The place looks like it was recently renovated - and very well appointed. Everything worked well. Tons of pillows and super comfy beds were awesome. Gas fireplace kept it super cozy too. We walked to Hyatt for drinks one night...and home from dinner on the main street another night. Probably 15 minute walk for each. It was super cold, otherwise would have been an easy walk. (note, from condo to the main street it's slightly uphill all the way so be prepared). This place was awesome - I'd stay there again.

Beautiful gated property at Schaffer Mills! We stayed for three nights over President’s Day weekend and truly enjoyed the house with its beautiful asthetics. You really just need to bring yourself and food and everything else down to coffee, spices, condiments, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, blow dryers are provided. The master bathroom with heated floors was a hit with my 14 year old son! The hot tub was a great bonus after being on the mountain all day! Overall, we loved our stay and hope to return.

Awesome location, you can go to the beach with a great playground for kids with lake view. Stores, gas stations, restaurants, trailheads, etc all are close by but not to close to district you from nature. The house is matching photos and has everything you may need during the trip. We definitely would return back to this place!

The house was exceptionally clean upon arrival and beautifully decorated. The rooms were spacious and comfortably accommodated all our guests. Its location was incredibly convenient, with Stateline just down the street and several grocery stores nearby. The hot tub was a wonderful feature—easy to use and very relaxing. The WiFi worked perfectly, and the showers were modern and refreshing. Thank you, Brandon! You were a great host :)
