Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Oliveto Lario

Our group of 4 had a wonderful stay at the window to the lake. Beautiful views also to the surrounding Tremezzo and mountains along with a very comfortable stay. We travelled to other locations on Lake Como and even had a night in cooking dinner and drinking wine from the local market. Thanks to Elena E Mara for a great stay!

Louise was so sweet and her home is a little gem with the BEST bathtub EVER in the bedroom. Such a cool place and very roomie for a couple. Beautiful decor! Love the interior design touches mixing the old stone with more modern elements. The only negative was finding parking. Luckily we found a little spot all the way down the hill in front of the school….but this is Lake Como so we’re used to hiking up the hill!:) Just an FYI for anyone with mobility issues. We loved our stay and especially loved our meals out on the deck and also enjoyed Villa Lario built into the cliff just below. Fun experience:) We’d love to return sometime!

Tolle, geräumigige und super saubere Wohnung mit privatem Parkplatz auf dem Grundstück sowie großzügigem Garten mit fantastischem Blick auf den See und die Berge. Vor dem Haus ist direkt ein Strand mit kristallklarem Wasser. In der Unterkunft befinden sich sehr bequeme Liegen, die man mit zum Strand mitnehmen darf. Fußläufig sind Restaurants und ein Fähranleger entfernt um z.B. einen Ausflug nach Bellagio zu machen. Für die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit benötigt man allerdings ein Auto. Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Francesco empfangen und hatten eine wirklich tolle Zeit in Onno.

We zijn uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam ontvangen in het gerieflijke appartement met prachtig uitzicht op het meer. Op elke slaapkamer en in de living is een perfect werkende airco voorzien. Vlakbij 2 supergoeie bakkers. Laura had gezorgd voor ijsblokjes en fris water, er was zelfs een lekkere attentie en alle toeristische info werd voorzien. De parkeerplaats was superhandig. Laura reageert zeer snel op elke vraag. We hebben er graag en goed geslapen. Bedankt Laura en ook Paola. Het is een echte aanrader!

The little house is a five star property with clean and comfortable furniture, amazing garden and breath taking lake views. We had all the amenities we needed for the entire stay and kathi have been very helpful. If you book this property, prepare to have an amazing private space but prepare to walk down some stairs to reach the little house.

Erittäin rauhallinen, tilava ja siisti asunto. Asunnosta löytyi kaikki tarvittava ruoanlaittoon. Autolle olisi myös ollut parkkipaikka, valitettavasti meillä ei ollut autoa käytössä. Bussi- ja juna-asemalle käveli 10 minuuttia, samoin kuin satamaan, josta pääsi jatkamaan lautalla comojärven muihin kohteisiin. Ruokakauppa ja lähin ravintola olivat reilun viiden minuutin matkan päässä. Suosittelen paikkaa cristinan majoitusta vahvasti! Todella ystävällinen ja avulias majoittaja.

This home is in an outstanding location overlooking the lake and Lugano. We were blown away by the view from every window. The location was very peaceful, and the home was extremely well-stocked. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony or the covered deck every day (depending on how hot it was!). The home is located a quick drive to downtown Lugano, and a short drive to the top of Monte Bre (highly recommend!) and to Gandria (also highly recommend). We fell in love with Lugano and the surrounding area thanks in part to this house…we will definitely be back.

Luisella and her husband were very friendly and helpful getting us settled. They took the time to share recommendations for restaurants and hikes. They also had a map handy and wrote out the places they were recommending. The house was fabulous and in a great location - loved being able to listen to the nearby waterfall when we had our windows open. Also appreciated ability to walk to downtown Varenna. It was only a 20 minute walk and preferred to have a house in a quieter place. Our stay was perfect in every way!

Incredible views. Highly recommend renting a scooter to make commute up and down the hill much easier. 10/10 would stay here again.

Maria was very welcoming during our stay. It was such a beautiful location with an amazing view, we chose to cook at home and eat on the balcony and it was perfect.

My husband and i stayed here on our honeymoon and it was our favourite place. The hosts were so incredibly warm and welcoming. From communicating before we arrived about the strikes and train issues to helping us book our transportation home and having the most lovely gift and hand painted welcome card for our honeymoon upon our arrival it was all heavenly. They are the kindest humans. The views from the apartment are stunning and the private location is a quick walk away from town - it’s nice not to be in tourist central! There are also private beaches for lake access and the best restaurant across the street. It was all a dream and we will definitely be back!!

Fab ground floor flat in a town not far from the action. Excellent transport links, a little local shop that has all you need for groceries, and it’s by the water. Hosts were very responsive to our queries and made great suggestions for things to do in the area and further away. Would definitely come back to stay next time we’re having a holiday by Lake Como!

This apartment is so big, you feel like you’re in a pent house suite. We loved this place. We were able to cook some meals in the kitchen, the deck is beautiful. We were nervous about the drive and parking. Parking was fine, no issues. Yes it is a tight squeeze - but it’s Italy, driving in general is a tight squeeze. It’s easier than other reviews have made out to be. The accomodation is further up the hill and back from the town. The drive takes about 13 minutes. Not a scary drive, just a slow one with so many turns. We loved the location as it was already so busy in town that we felt like we got to escape the crowds. You would want a car here for sure. You can’t walk down to the town. And parking and driving around was easy, not as busy as you think it would be because everyone is taking ferry’s not driving. So we were able to drive down and park and go for dinner or breakfast easily. Highly recommend this place.

Great location in Bellagio! Close to the port, shops and restaurants. Beautiful apartment, just as described. Michela was a great host, check-in was easy and smooth. I definitely recommend staying here while in Bellagio, however would not recommend to older guests or those with mobility issues since we had to climb lots of stairs to get to the building (very common in the area) and only one flight of stairs to the actual apartment.

Our absolutely favourite stay in Italy! Just loved the apartment and the surrounding gardens. Marzia was very welcoming and on arrival and gave us a grand tour of the total complex and gardens (which were absolutely stunning!!) The apartment was lovely, and very comfortable, and having an outdoor patio was definitely a bonus! It was very private and relaxing, but only a 20 minute walk into Bellagio tourist area There was a supermarket, and some lovely restaurants close by. Both Marzia and Lorenzo were great to liaize with and we loved our stay with them so much, that we are definitely returning next year

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The location was within easy walking distance of the train and ferry stations and the old town center. The view from the patio and living room was lovely. One day was rainy, but the covered parts of the patio and open doors from the living room made for relaxing lake and mountain views, even in the rain. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was handy for cooking a couple dinners, and the washing machine was small but convenient for a couple quick loads. Communication and check-in went smoothly. Highly recommended.

The view is adorable. The location is the best. Car park is crucial to enjoy your stay and it was available upon request for free.

Awesome spot! Stayed here for one night for our honeymoon trip. Great view, easy access to great restaurants, beautiful area to walk around, and super friendly hosts. Would definitely stay here again.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt in Barni. Sehr zu empfehlen für einen Aufenthalt mit Kindern. Elisabetta war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Sie hat viele gute Tipps für die Gegend und organisiert auch Reservierungen etc. Fragen wurden schnell unkompliziert beantwortet. Betty kümmert sich sehr um das Wohl ihrer Gäste. Es hat Drinnen und Draussen sehr viel tolle Spielsachen und Ausstattung für Kinder. Basics wie Tücher, Abwaschmittel, Lappen, extra Kissen, Decken, Toilettenpapier waren ebenfalls vorhanden. Einziges kleines Manko. Die Küche ist etwas klein, hat aber alles drin was man braucht.

Super charming home with absolutely stunning views of Lake Como better seen in person. The amenities were wonderful and the hosts were so very friendly, attentive and helpful. Highly recommend staying here! Also, be sure to book any transportation ahead of time.

Enrica (AKA Kikka) is a delightful woman who cares about her guests and does everything to make them feel at home. She responded very quickly to any of our questions and needs. She had great suggestions for restaurants, activities and site seeing outings, all listed in an informative book on the kitchen table. The view from the room is magical, almost beyond description, as you look out on to Lake Como both day and especially night! We loved staying at Luca’s home. Better than what we could have expected! Great location, everything we needed was in the apartment. The building itself is spectacular with the exposed stone and beams. Luca was a fabulous host from check-in to check out. Thank you for everything!

Warum diese Unterkunft ein Gäste-Favorit ist – jetzt wissen wir es auch 😉 Das Appartement ist der ideale Rückzugsort für Menschen, die entspannen möchten, aber auch die Ausgangsbasis für viele Ausflugsziele in der Umgebung. Das Appartement hat einen traumhaften Blick auf den See, eine perfekte Ausstattung und war sehr sauber. Marta ist eine tolle, hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, die unseren Aufenthalt mit wertvollen Tipps bereicherte und jederzeit erreichbar war. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt und die Zeit verging wie im Flug. Es ist einer der Orte, wo wir jederzeit gerne wieder hin fahren würden.
