Fantastic stay in San Giovanni. Absolutely stunning views of the lake, and well worth the hike up the road to get there. The home is gorgeous, well maintained, and excellent for small groups. Would highly recommend. That said, it’s not the most accessible if you don’t have a car to drive to the nearby towns, so make sure you bring your walking shoes if so! We loved walking around the beautiful, charming neighbourhood and the surrounding towns. About 20mins to get to Bellagio and there is also a bus. Marzia was extremely helpful and very responsive. A lovely host and very welcoming. We’ll be back!

Silvia is a great host! Excellent location, easy 6-minute walk from/to ferry terminal & 10-minute walk to S. Giovanni train station. Near loads of restaurants, bars, & shops. The elevator was good to have with luggage. The living/dining room was cozy & comfortable. Well-equipped kitchen. Separate washer & dryer were fantastic! Decent WiFi (21 mbps down, 6 mbps up). The bed was comfortable & had nightstands & power outlets on each side--perfect for 2 people to charge devices at bedside. Only downside was on occasion from bed we could hear the upstairs neighbors & a few times we caught a faint smell of someone's cigarette smoke--not overwhelming, thankfully. The large shower had good water pressure & the hot water stayed hot for 2 people taking back-to-back showers. Wonderful thick towels & plenty of them! Great wall-mounted magnifying mirror! A heated towel rack would have been nice. The bathrobes were a treat! Despite the few minor mentions, we would happily stay here again. 😃

Oliviero’s apartment is charming and just as the photos online. It’s comfortable with plenty of room. I left the window open at night and so was aware of a few cars going past in the early morning. It can’t be helped. It is ideally placed being 2 minutes walk from the Main Street in Cite Alta., which is just beautiful. I’ve had a lovely holiday. Thank you Oliviero.

The stay was perfect and Carla was constantly attentive to us. Everything went as planned and the instructions were very clear. The calm and magic of the landscapes are guaranteed. The rooms are very spacious and the only point that needs to be anticipated is shopping in Cannobio and having a car to access the apartment. I highly recommend The Tower to fully experience Lake Maggiore.

This apartment was very spacious and clean. Very home-like and the terrace with the view was super nice. Location is close to everything but still quiet.

I can’t imagine a better place to stay on Lake Como. The views of the lake from the balcony were a dream. We looked forward to having breakfast on the balcony every morning and soaking in those gorgeous views. There was plenty of room to stretch out in the apartment. The neighborhood was quiet, the space was clean and had a lovely but subtle scent to it. The sofa and king bed were very comfortable. The bed was firm enough to be supportive but not too hard. There was AC on both levels. Love that we could connect to our Netflix account. The walk to downtown is about 10 minutes and super easy going downhill- the walk back up the hill to the apartment wasn’t bad but I’d recommend wearing comfortable shoes. There are two restaurants within a shorter distance (maybe 3 minute’s walk) that offer breakfast and dinner. The pizza restaurant has great pizza. We absolutely love Anna’s place and would be thrilled to stay there again.

The apartment is so clean and nice and carefully renovated and very beautiful. There was everything in the kitchen despite the small space. The whole garden is free to roam. The playground was a big plus. Clean, safe and beautiful and a fantastic host. We can only recommend and hope to come back

This is by far our favorite airbnb we’ve stayed in! The view was incredible! There is an amazing balcony, a separate patio area and windows on almost all sides making for the best view you can imagine. Total serenity! Peaceful and quiet! Very clean and everything is brand new. We joked that our favorite place in lake como was our apparent. Book it without hesitation!!!

Beautiful home so close to downtown Varenna! Place is exactly as listed, if not better in person. Host is very responsive and provides such helpful recommendations! Would recommend reserving cabs to town in advance, otherwise just need a pair of sneakers to make the downward track!

We had a wonderful time in Zenna. Used it as a base for kayaking. We were allowed to leave our kayaks in the garden. Path to the lake was easily accessible through the fence of neighbors that we had our own key to. Also tried out the sups again. I'm glad you could do a laundry in between. The balcony is beautifully located!

We enjoyed a full week at this beautiful apartment and loved every minute of it. Perledo is a peaceful and friendly village and we not only enjoyed the local cuisine but also to cook and relax in the apartment and on the terrace. You have everything you need and it is very clean and nice furnished. Thanks for this great holiday!

Emilio and his daughter provided quick, clear, and truly sincere help, recommendations, advice, and help with our aging parents. They greeted us with great appreciation and warmth. We love Limonta, as it’s close to Bellagio without the business of tourists. The views from every window were breathtaking and each photo we took, a bit of a disappointment since we couldn’t really capture the beauty. It is best to have a car if you rent here. Parking is free. All of the amenities were as listed. Wonderful having 2 cucini, 2 lavatrici for 5 people. Exceptionally clean, spacious, very pretty, and windows with screens. Angelica immediately sent us ferry schedules for trips to Varenna, dining recommendations, and pamphlets were available for many other wonderful activities. We will definitely return. Really clear communication from Alessandra, which made staying here a treat. She recommended some really nice restaurants, including one across the street, and the room was modern and clean

Clean place with a shuttle service, very close to the airport as promised. Shuttle service was very friendly and convenient, and Elena was very responsive in helping us connect with them. Worked great for our last night before leaving Italy.

Highly recommended this beautiful and peaceful place. We thoroughly enjoyed 4 nights, and we would’ve loved to have stayed longer. Lierna is very quiet and peaceful, especially compared to some of the other towns around the lake. We loved that! We went by car around and Lierna always felt like a breath of fresh air after the hustle and bustle. The apartment is perfect, has all the amenities you could wish for. the terrace is lovely, and the view is magnificent. Maurizia and family were excellent hosts. Again, highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful and beautiful spot.

Maria Laura is the perfect host with 100% attention to details. The appartment is top notch. We traveled with a 1year old baby, Maria Laura went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. Our highlight in the apartment was the cleanliness (cannot be better) and the huge amount of little extras (kitchen and bathroom very well equipped). We felt super comfortable, also big thanks to Maria Laura for answering so quickly, in English and German.

A true Italian family welcome! we were just coming off a 36-hour day flying in from the United States, and it was so nice to arrive and have Isabella so open and welcoming! A well placed home that is rich in history and architecture. lots of great food within a few hundred feet of the apartment and access to public transit. I'm tempted to come back to Milano just so that I can stay a little longer in that amazing abode

What a quiet, beautiful and fully furnished cottage. The view of Lake Lugano from the cozy balcony was phenomenal. Ideal for 2 people who love peace and beautiful views. Sophie was friendly, helpful and proactive without being too much in the foreground. Her restaurant is definitely recommended and is within walking distance. We enjoyed the stay and made nice excursions these 4 days, despite the slightly less good weather.

Elisa’s place exceeded our already high expectations. We were very excited prior to arrival due to the beautiful design seen in the listing photos, the property was even nicer in person. The work was very well done with every little detail thought of. Elisa was a fantastic host, always responding quickly with excellent recommendations and advice. We couldn’t rate this place any higher!
