Lovely apartment by the lake. We got up everyday with beautiful view of lake como by the window. Very calmed, not far from Villa del balbianello 6 minutes by car.

The apartment was very nice and large. Everything you needed was there and the direct lake access was great. You have a large terrace with a grill, which made the supply very good. One problem is the location, for example, supermarkets are rather far away. For this, you live very quietly and have nice restaurants nearby. The host is extremely friendly and was always available. He gave us tips and helped us when we had problems. Overall, the apartment is recommended.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My recent stay at Zaira place was an unforgettable experience that I can't recommend highly enough! From the moment I arrived, I was entranced by the breathtaking views of the crystal-clear lake surrounded by majestic mountains and charming villages. The accommodations were top-notch, offering comfort and luxury in equal measure. My room had large windows that framed stunning lake views, allowing me to wake up to nature's beauty each morning. The staff were exceptionally welcoming, providing attentive service that made me feel right at home. Their local recommendations for dining and activities were spot on, ensuring I experienced the best of what the area has to offer. Exploring the quaint towns of Bellagio and Varenna was a highlight of my trip. The cobblestone streets, vibrant flowers, and delectable gelato created a perfect backdrop for leisurely strolls. Highly recommend

Absolutely wonderful stay and amazing host. The apartment was exactly as described and the views and location were perfect. We loved sitting on the balcony, looking over the water and watching and hearing the people below. There are 2 wine bars just outside the door and also many restaurants. Alberto picked us up at the station and explained the apartment and area. Giorgio’s kindness was immeasurable. The trains had unexpectedly stopped running and he personally booked our transportation back to Milan and drove us to meet a new express bus. We could have never done this without him, as this was unpublished at the time. What a wonderful man! Varenna is a beautiful small village and there are many outstanding restaurants and things to do. Our highlight was taking a cooking class with Chef Marco, Chef’s Table, and later dining at his new restaurant, La Scarpetta. We recommend visiting the villas in town, taking the Taxi Boat to Villa Balbianello and hiking to the waterfall in Fiumelatte.

Such a cute place to stay! The town is adorable and in a great location. The hosts were very responsive and helpful at all times! Highly recommend this place!

We had an absolutely amazing place. The view is just stunning and 'matched' the photos (although they don't it justice). Marzio was a fantastic communicator, and his wife met us in person for check in. We really enjoyed Lezzeno, between Como and Bellagio

Check-in worked out just fine. Everything was as described. The lakeside location with its own jetty, fenced garden, warm outdoor shower and parking was perfect for us. The view of the mountains is fantastic.🙏 The swing and the loungers in the garden are great and all the beautiful places are easily accessible. There are trees and shade, when the sun is blazing. Our dog enjoyed being able to move freely and bathe at any time.🤠 Communication with Fabio and Matteo works great.☺️ Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful cottage by the lake. This place is amazing! The quiet nights on the patio, or walking down to the lake to enjoy the lights in the castle with evening setting on Lake Como were so wonderfully relaxing. I would recommend to anyone wanting to escape the insanity of Varenna. Other pluses. Town parking pass for Dervio. Amazing breakfast waiting for the ferry there, full kitchen for spectacular sunset meals with the best view of the lake!

Monica’s place was outstanding The pictures did not do justice to the views Wow! Monica was very good communicating with us right from the start Check in was very straightforward and she even left us a bottle of Prosecco and water Monica is very thoughtful and her place was spotless and well furnished She responded very promptly to all our questions and offered great recommendations for transport , shops and restaurants Overall our stay was beyond our expectations and we are definitely coming back next year Hopefully by which time the C10 bus may be regular 😂 and on time !

Beautiful and unique accommodation, in a quiet area right on the water. Accommodation is equipped with only important things. If you arrive by car, there is the possibility to park right in front of the house. The city center is about a 20-minute walk along the water. WiFi works great. A restaurant is right behind the house which serves good food. Francesca was very nice and gives you very helpful tips for a great stay in Lecco and Lake Como.

We had a wonderful week at Carmen's house. The location in Spurano/Ossuccio was perfect because it was quiet yet within easy walking distance of local bars and restaurants. The Greenway provides good walks around the area, including accees to the chapels of the Sacri Monte. The sports bar in Ossuccio was great value for money and we also ate at the lido in Sala Comacina. From there you can also get the boat to the Isola (very peaceful - we had the whole island to ourselves) and you can find Amalia Ostinelli's grocery store for all your essentials. The kitchen diner is superbly equipped and stays cool even on the hotest days. The bed is really comfortable and the whole house is beautifully presented... old and quirky but with all the modern comforts you would expect. On top of that you're literally a few steps from Lake Como. We loved the spa, especially the jacuzzi. All in all we loved it. We were sad to leave and could have happily stayed another week. We hope to return one day.

Beautiful house, stunning location and truly wonderfully accommodating people hosting. If you're looking to avoid the overcrowded tourist version of this stunning area and reconnect with nature, this is the right place for you. Will be back for sure!

Walking distance to station, large supermarket, playground and the water. Nice garden and beautiful views nearby and from the upper floor. Parking is tight, but definitely doable. A neighbor complained about it, but Monica was very helpful with this. Extra nice: it was a vacation and very busy in surrounding villages, but this village is quite quiet and very beautiful!

Wonderful place, with a pool and a view of the lake, a great destination.

This was our second stay, and definitely not our last. Maurizio was responsive and kind as ever, helping us out beyond what many other hosts would do. The flat itself is perfect for two people. Each time has been with my mum who has accessibility needs. There is only one step in the property and that is the front door. The shower is walk-in, and the bed is of high quality. The bedroom does not receive much daylight, so is the coolest room in the property (a blessing when the weather gets warmer). The castle is in prime location, 1 minute walk to the small, free beach. There are several benches scattered around - good for those that struggle to sit on the ground. We ate several times at La Porta Verde, a small café that do incredible paninis and pinsa. There is work undergoing near the property. Overall, noise was not that noticeable, mainly because we were out for the day. They do start working between 7:45-8:30, but generally quiet (no noise at all if at the beach).

They say that Bellagio is the jewel of lake como , i believe its Where you stay and also the host , I have been in different places with different and marvelous location but nothing comparable with a place that you feel comfortable in during your stay,and what even makes your stay beyond expectations is the host and i believe Deborah did really made things lovely and easy specially for someone that is not familiar with local customs or the location Simply one of the most beautiful experiences i’v ever had and strongly recommend the place as the photos does not do justice to the place trust me

Great studio, very clean and as described, a very well thought out space. Hosts have really thought of everything you might need. Great communication. Would recommend you consider the stairs and ceiling height if you are tall.

I fell in love with Morcote during our stay and the icing on the cake was definitely Rahman’s place. The view from the house plus the spaciousness and cleanliness were all very much appreciated. There’s a bus stop right at the bottom of the house so getting to public transport is very easy, walking into town is only 30mins as well! Loved our stay, so peaceful :)
