The property is absolutely stunning, only topped by the amazing views! The home is beautifully nestled into the rock and natural surroundings. Consequently, the views from the hot tub and the sauna are breathtaking. During our stay, we had excellent sunny weather and enjoyed daily. Hikes: either directly from the home or within a 30 minute car drive. The house itself is well laid out and the kitchen has everything you need for six people. It never felt crowded, except occasionally the two lounge chairs from which you could view the valley, as we sometimes fought over who gets to sit in them… 😊 There is a small grocery store just down the mountain within a 15 minute drive. It is well stocked but a bit expensive. For us this was a perfect vacation as we just wanted to enjoy nature and relax. Beyond that, there really isn’t much to do as there are neither museums nor cultural points of interest. During the winter time, this obviously is a prime skiing location.

Great cabin, great host!

Excellent house near the ski slope at the bottom of the mountain. That also means that during the day the sun does not shine on the terraces. The house is well decorated, feels comfortable when it has warmed up (it was -23C) and was spacious enough for the six people we were with. Two cars fit well with the house. The road was kept neatly snow-free. There were no appliances broken, everything was tidy and we would book it again. Great place, good host, nothing to complain about.

This is truly a great cabin with everything you could dream of! Definitely proper people who own this castle of a cabin, because here there were clever and great details everywhere, and very modern. There were 6 of us on a trip, and all the young people and adults and the 6 year old found their zones where they relaxed, enjoyed their holiday and were able to settle! We checked out the sauna by a small pond one of the days and it was really cozy. Only 10 minutes walk from the cabin. Otherwise, we had lots of Easter activities and cooked delicious food. The sun was also on our side, so we were outside grilled on the fire pit. Here we would love to come back! Thank you very much for us🤗

Nice cabin and efficient communication ahead of time and along the way.

We stayed with two families, 4 adults and 4 children, in this beautiful house. We felt very comfortable. The house was handed over to us very clean and the amenities were also top. There are enough plates, pans, etc. We stayed at the house over New Year's Eve and got both very cold days and some snow. The house is very well prepared for this. Despite the hillside location, the path to the house is also easily accessible in snow, as it is cleared by a snow blower several times a day. The sauna and hot tub are real highlights even in winter. We explored the surroundings for walking and sledding. We had a really great few days and would be happy to come back to this beautiful house.

We, family of 4 w/boys 3 and 5 years, spent our Easter holiday 2021 at Trond’s cabin. The place is very children friendly with spacious living room and kitchen. We especially appreciated the cross country tracks only 10 metres from the cabin, which are maintained and fresh every day. We put rating 4 on cleaning, as we were a bit disappointed that we had to vacuum clean the cabin before departure, even though we had paid a cleaning fee. Nevertheless, we had a great Easter in Trond’s cabin and highly recommend it to others, especially families with small kids. We’ll be back :-)

Great and cozy cabin, everything worked as it should. The double bed was very narrow for 2 people. Fun with touring in the living room. Short distance to the slalom slope and cross country tracks. Cozy hostess who allowed us to send check out since the first day had miserable weather and the second day brilliant sun and the opportunity for a day of skiing. Thanks for us, we'd love to be back.

As soon as we had parked and got out of the car, we got butterflies in our stomach just from seeing the Skifterud farm. The couple on the farm with a skilled intern welcomed us warmly, shoulders lowered, the pace went down and the resting pulse arrived. They have an absolutely magical atmosphere. You'll hear the waterfall in the background, a small goat choir, and happy hens tripping around. There is wildlife, insect life, plant life. You'll wake up refreshed and look right at the lush valley and trees waving in the wind. We greeted those goats and walked to the waterfall that is close to the farm. We were also served organic, self grown, delicious food, as well as an unforgettable intimate concert with Rupert. Gaby is skilled in the subject, and we learned a lot on her classes that we'll take with us in our everyday lives. The farm is a rare jewel that everyone will have a unique experience on, whether it is to get knowledge, be inspired, or just get a break in from a busy everyday life. We are truly grateful for the stay and look forward to returning.

We were on tembuilding and enjoyed two days, despite bad weather. The place is suitable for many, even if you have to be inside. Everything was tidy and ready when we arrived, and we have got quick answers to what we were wondering about ahead of time. Have already decided to come back

We spent Christmas and New Year in this beautifully located and very well equipped house. Despite two-digit minus temperatures, it was very cozy thanks to the wood stove and heating. The Norefjell ski area is a 20-minute drive away. Beautiful destinations are the Kistefos sculpture park and the Hadeland glassblowing. Cross-country skiing was also possible right in front of the house on the frozen Sund. In winter you can not drive directly to the house, you can park below the motel, the path to the house goes downhill. Since it has snowed a lot, daily sniping recommended. We had a very nice time at Noresund, thank you!

Also in summer this is a wonderful place to stay. After a holiday in cabins on campsites in, this cottage was very luxurious for us, with large kitchen and oven, beautiful bathroom, wonderfully spacious living room (lovely sofa!) with large dining table. WiFi connection is fine and heating is controlled remotely by host. Outside a large terrace with amazing lake view. There are a few beautiful circular walks in and around Fagerfjell, clearly marked with signs. Not too simple and not too heavy, just enough challenge for us. We enjoyed all the comforts in this beautiful house. Kjetil always responded quickly and kindly to my questions. Tip: To easily find the house, open the instructions via Maps from the listing.

The cabin is beautiful inside and out and the location and views are stunning! We had a truly fantastic stay!

A beautiful accommodation, well equipped and perfectly located for hiking, right behind the cabin. The rabbits and sheep were particularly pleased with the children! The climbing park was great too!

Fantastic great place. We are a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children of 7 years and 16 months. We had a few days with lots of fun. Play at the cabin, explored the forest, bathed and fishing in the water right by. Super cozy cabin. Very suitable for families with children. We will definitely be back in the future.

Absolutely beautiful cabin! A brilliant place to gather with great scenery, easy to get to. Åge was friendly and replied quickly. Come with nice descriptions of the cabin and what to do in the area. Highly recommended!

Fantastic cabin experience! You feel in the middle of nature with incredible views and the ski slopes around, not my st is very child friendly with full equipment. Quick and careful communication with the owners who help and make it easier to adapt to the difficulties. Totally recommend!
