Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Notodden Municipality

We were four students visiting who are very happy with the stay🤗

I made a reservation for one person and friends came. There was no problem changing the number of people. Very helpful host. Clean bedrooms, very comfortable beds. Living room with fireplace, piano and guitar. A TV is available. A great home that I recommend for entire families , friends, and couples.

The house is very nice. We were very well received and the hosts listened to us. I highly recommend it.

We had a great stay is this little museum. Friendly host with lots of knowledge and stories about the area and the house. If you expect a hotel room, don’t go here. If you want peace and quiet in a great historical setting with all the creature comforts. Try this.

We enjoyed our holiday at the “old station”👍with lots of soul. A lovely peaceful area and not far to Notodden. Everything was perfect🙏

We felt at home with Merethe and Elling, Elling and Merethe immediately helped when we needed something (thank you again for the skis and shoes🙏). We were thrilled and would come back to this place any time.

Great view! Easy to use kitchen. Easy to find and get to by car as it is just off a main road (but you don't hear it as main road in this area isn't very busy). I didn't partake, but there were overflowing bowls of candy and a few other kitchen items left out in addition to the listed coffee and tea. I did appreciate the coffee machine in the morning. My only issue was that there was a minor plumbing problem, but Araz was great in responding and the issue has undoubtedly been dealt with long before you are likely to have read this.

I highly recommend Mette's place, it very spacious with everything you could want. Mette is generous, kind and always ready to help. The view from the balconies is outstanding. if you are walking, it is 20mins from the train station and 10mins is uphill. Also you are in the middle of a 3 story building, and sometimes you will hear people walking around upstairs. Neither of these worried us, I only mention this in passing. They in no detracted from our experience. 5 stars all round. Thank you Mette.

Our stay at Maria's apartment was simply perfect. Warm house, very welcoming and everything matching the description provided. Maria is extremely helpful and responsive, we asked for various information and she always responded in a short time. We were in Rjukan to ice climb and it was really nice to come back and take a hot shower. Kitchen equipped with all the necessary appliances. Impeccable cleanliness. We slept perfectly, very comfortable beds and silence in the surrounding area. I highly recommend it!!!

Maybe the cleanest and tidy apartment we have borrowed. The host responded immediately with questions. Lots of towels, coffee pods, etc. The apartment is newly renovated and modern, and appears very welcoming. Heated and ready jacuzzi was a highlight! Will definitely be back!

Johan's apartment is very comfortable, bright, spacious and well heated, with the luxury of having a washing machine available. It has a beautiful view of the Gaustastoppen and for those who love the mountains it is paradise. On the other hand, don't go there at night, the street names are not displayed and the GPS shows anything.

A really nice apartment that works perfectly. Very well equipped and it is possible to store skis on the ground floor in private enclosure. Ski-in/ski-out works optimally - however, be aware that you start on the black part of piste 22, which however very quickly turns red. However, there are shuttle buses to other areas if too difficult for some family members😊 Definitely an apartment and area we would be happy to come back to!

We had a great weekend in Gausta and the place worked super well for me and my son. Unfortunately, the lift and slopes that are next to the apartment did not open, but the buses often go away to Skicenter and a couple of times we walked away with the skis, which also works if you do not want to wait for the bus. Great location on the property with a nice view of Gaustatoppen!

We are super happy after a great visit to Kjetil's apartment this Easter. The apartment is located in a great location with a lovely view of Gaustatoppen. The apartment is also central and close to both restaurants, ski slopes, hiking trails, Gaustablikk. There is also a shuttle bus between the various places. We are a family of four, where two are kids and they enjoyed themselves in the room with bunk beds. The apartment is just the right size for the four of us and was well equipped with everything needed for a stay. We enjoyed extra: The balcony with doors that could be opened in solsteika. Plenty of hooks to hang in the hallway. Close proximity to everything/amazing ski center!! Access to lots on the appletv. Convenient with underground parking. A few things that didn't affect the overall impression in total, but that can be mentioned; occasionally loud music from the après-ski, as well as music from neighbors. A kettle would be nice since the stove has a long heating time. All in all: We've had a wonderful stay and can really recommend the apartment/ place!!

The town is within easy walking distance. There are different sitting areas for people to chill out so the house never feel clostrofobic. We stayed with a group of 8. This is our second stay. Everyone had a good time.

Very charming farm with good playground, both outside and inside. We really enjoyed it! Good communication with the host. The place stood up to expectations, and so on. Would recommend a stay at Own!

Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend at your lovely house😊! The house was very practical and arranged for an active extended family on trip ~ with three generations. The kitchen was large and conveniently arranged for several who contributed food etc, large dining room with plenty of space, great outdoor areas & large and good en-suite bedrooms were just great😀👍🏼. Plus the great place, Kristin has been so heartwarming and responded quickly & enjoyable emails😀! We've all had a great time ~ with great meals & valuable conversations, great experiences, and life & laughter😀! The whole big family is really happy with the stay❤️! Dice 6 from A to Z😀!
