The cabin is located right on a lake with swimming and fishing opportunities. You have panoramic views of the water and Gaustatoppen from the living room. The cabin is only 8 km from Bø Sommerland and 20 km from Lifjell Winterland. Very 5 km from the cabin you will find Grønkjær ski resort with great cross country skiing trails. The location in the middle between Bø and Notodden provides opportunities for trade and restaurants In the summertime it is possible to rent the canoe ( on sharing with my second cabin in the area) for NOK 350,- a day.

Or walk down the path behind the cabin to get to one unobstructed water for swimming or fishing trout. There are many different hiking trails on the mountain, with varied terrain and length of the trails. The cabin is only about 8 km from Bø Sommarland and the climbing park Høyt & Lavt. Close to Bø and Sommarland there are also a large number of marked hiking trails in more flat terrain, and opportunities for swimming in Bøelva. There is approx. a 10 minute walk to Lifjellstua for a delicious lunch and dinner in the restaurant there.

The cabin is centrally located with only a 1.5 hour drive from Oslo. Great hiking areas with walking, cycling and skiing to Blestølen and Blefjell Lodge. Great hiking areas right by the cabin wall. There is a road to the cabin door, running electricity and water. Very good sun conditions from early morning, until well into the evening It is well equipped
