The house is less than an hour's drive to: Bø with summerland and climbing park Kongsberg with Silver Mines and Alpinsenter/Ski Center Rjukan with world heritage, water park, climbing park and Gaustablikk with alpine and cross country skiing Gaustatoppen, Lifjell and Blefjell To Notodden with Bluesfestival, Stavkirka, Telemarksgalleriet and World Heritage there is approx. 30 min drive. It's just a matter of picking and choose in experiences and tours or to enjoy quiet days and the good life in the countryside.

The apartment consists of a large kitchen with dining area, cozy living room, hall with heating cables in the floor and a spacious and good bathroom. Private bedroom facing the forest. Suitable for 2 people, but there is a sofa bed in the living room that can be used and the apartment is equipped for 4 people. We live 380m.o.h and it is a short distance to the mountain, with nice hiking terrain and superb ski slopes in winter (3 km by car)

The cabin is only 8 km from Bø Sommerland and 20 km from Lifjell Winterland. Very 5 km from the cabin you will find Grønkjær ski resort with great cross country skiing trails. The location in the middle between Bø and Notodden provides opportunities for trade and restaurants In the summertime it is possible to rent the canoe ( on sharing with my second cabin in the area) for NOK 350,- a day.

Small cabin by the lake. Perfect for a getaway from the modern world. Great for relaxing, hiking, fishing, mushrooms and berry picking and swimming. Guests can use the canoe at own risk. There are sheep grazing in the fields and a very special flower meadow. There is a outside seating area with a simple bbq. New bathroom with shower and toilet in the barn. Sauna can be rented for additional cost. Ps. there is no running water in the cabin, this is available few meters away, in the barn.
