Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Northeast Ohio

Jason was extremely kind and responsive. His home was so inviting and we loved the fly fishing theme! This property had everything you would need and more. We appreciated the typed out instructions and local recommendations. The hot tub and fire pit were a favorite. Would definitely re-book in the future if we were to ever make it back.

We had a wonderful time staying here! It was a great location to visit Cuyahoga Valley NP and within walking distance of the cute downtown area. Our kids also loved the yard! A huge space that was perfect for kids of all ages with a small play structure and room to run around and explore.

Hillside Hideaway is a perfect getaway. Sits right on hillside and has a car port for parking which is handy in bad weather. Location is close to Mohican state park and many other places to do things.

We came down for a quick weekend getaway and the place was lovely! Quiet neighborhood, plenty of do, and a beautiful house. Definitely recommend

We had an amazing stay at Ava’s lake house! The pictures truly do not do it justice. The view of the lake was incredible—we spent hours sitting outside, enjoying the peaceful scenery, having a fire, and watching the boats go by. The home felt like our own, with all the comforts we needed, including everything for grilling and making breakfast. It was so cozy, private, welcoming, and the perfect spot to relax. We did not want to leave. This was, by far, my favorite Airbnb experience yet. We can’t wait to come back!

We had a late check in due to a problem with our other hotel being overbooked. We didn’t arrive until 2300 after traveling with four kids all day. The hosts themselves had been out of town & didn’t initially see our booking but once they saw my text they gave us the door code and came over immediately to help us get settled in. It’s very much a country home & nature came in to visit. One of the hosts were sweeping making sure to clean up anything that had swept in while they were out of town & with the wind. There was a (very generous) bottle of wine to welcome us, and everyone slept well. They offered us a flexible check out due to our late check in and we had all the kitchen equipment minus a cookie sheet to cook breakfast. But honestly we prob didn’t look enough 😆. You can hear a little highway noise outside but we all slept like Dad’s at the hospital with a newborn baby.

This is my third or fourth time staying with Melinda and Todd and every time has been a perfect stay. I have stayed at a lot of Airbnbs and Melissa and Todd are the most gracious hosts I’ve ever dealt with. Very friendly and super responsive. The apartment includes several snacks and cold drinks in the fridge. There’s a binder with very clear instructions for everything, and also a basket full of local restaurant menus. It really is a fantastic place to stay.

Such a cool spot — you immediately feel transported to a different place. We found ourselves forgetting we were even in Ohio anymore! It’s also close to everything and there’s a bike path right at the end of the street. Highly recommend!

The location was very close to the wedding ceremony site we were attending. It is a quiet and beautiful environment. The living room and bedrooms are very cozy. The hosts are very kind and friendly and we enjoyed the short stay. Thank you so much!

Nicely furnished basement apartment that worked well for our short stay. It had much more to offer than we had time to make use of. Would have enjoyed spending more time here.

This cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway! My kids loved being greeted by the sheep as soon as you pulled up! It was so peaceful and had everything you would need!

Wow, Michelle and her cabin are amazing!! she was such a kind, responsive and thoughtful host and her place is beautiful. the cabin has lots of thoughtful touches/extras (really well organized, had coffee, teas, sugar, spices, ample cookware inside and for around the fire, firewood, and more). Very clean, too. and cutely decorated. you have everything you need and more! we loved being able to feed the sweet horses with the treats Michelle provides. the property is really thoughtfuly laid out and lots of signage and clearly marked directions on how to get around. she also offers breakfast in the morning and it was sooooo delicious!! she even brings it right to the door for you in morning!! my brother and I went to celebrate his birthday and it just couldn't have been a more ideal spot for us. Thank you! Highly recommend

The cabin was beautiful and we had a great time! There were a few wasps flying around the patio so I would bring spray, especially if someone in your party has an allergy! By the time the sun set they were no longer an issue. Thanks Andrea!

Great cabin and what was listed is what we received. Cabin was as clean as all the pictures, right on the bike trail, and bonus complimentary snacks and s’more goodies! We’d definitely stay here again.

Beautiful cabin! Very clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed, all the little touches were perfect. Hot tub and fire pit was awesome. Loved watching all the birds at the bird feeder right outside the front door. Will definitely be back.

Such a beautiful and enjoyable place to get away. We were able to go kayaking in the pond as they had one there. The paddle boat fit four people which was perfect for our little family. The kitchen was fully equipped. The gas fireplace had a remote, a nice touch at night. Two bedrooms each room having a queen size bed. The beds were super comfy. Closets were nice One bedroom had a fan above the bed with a remote to it which was very nice as we like to sleep with a fan. The bathroom was super clean, shower was very big in size. I love to take hot showers. The water was so relaxing. Amazing amount of fish in the massive pond. Bass were unbelievably huge in size. There was a goose sitting and the gander protecting them. Mallard ducks flew across the pond landing in and out. Beautiful sight to see. Turtles basking in the sun. Three fishing poles were provided, along with a tiny tackle box. Life jackets are provided. Extra blankets, towels, washclothes, and soaps. Hot tub was nice
