Barn vacation rentals in Northeast Ohio

I wish I could give more than a 5 star review! if ever a place earned a 1,000 stars, this is it! It's the perfect balance of luxury and comfort. The decor is charming. the hosts were fabulous and attentive. The kitchen has every appliance and utensil you could desire. The view is great and there is so much to do on the grounds. We enjoyed pickleball a walking around the lake. We spent a lovely evening around a campfire made from the amply stocked wood pile. No attention to detail was spared and everything was impeccably clean. I have stayed at Air Bnbs all over the country and this one tops them all! I know this is a place I will be returning to over and over again.

Wow!! I can’t say enough positive things about our stay at The Roost! Everything was as described. The space was great! The location was almost magical. All of our extended family loved their time there, and wished we could stay longer. Amy was an AMAZING host!!! She was so helpful and kind. She made us feel welcomed and at home. She quickly answered any questions we had. Everything was PERFECT for for son’s wedding weekend.

Laura was a very friendly host who responded quickly to questions. Apartment is a newly converted barn and matches the description as advertised.

Absolutely wonderful. Spacious and great for family gatherings or a romantic getaway. Full of amenities, if you forgot something, it's probably there. The coffee cart is great for the coffee and tea drinkers. The downstairs bedroom is so inviting. The downstairs showers are awesome with great water pressure and the upstairs crawlfoot tub is great for relaxing after time in the sauna. Fire in the fireplace was cozy after dinner and the pelletstove was great to warm up the place. There are several options for heating so there is no reason to be cold in the winter. It was in the 20's, snowing and windy when we were there. We were very warm Game room is stocked and there are books and dvds. Children books available. Leslie was very informative and very responsive. She went above and beyond before and after our stay, she even dropped off a pack and play before our stay since she knew we were going to have an infant with us. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the barndominium. Suzanne left very clear instructions. The bnb was super cute. It was so close to Berlin and all of the shops. The Hershberger farm is right across the road. It was very cold outside so we were able to enjoy the gas fireplace. It had everything we needed. It’s much larger inside than I anticipated. Lovely space. Thank you, Suzanne!

This place was great! Country setting but close to all the “things to do “ The grounds were BEAUTIFUL! Great place for a wedding! One stop shop at this place. We will be returning!

Second year staying in this beautiful home. Perfect space for my large group to spread out comfortably. Tried local pizza place phase 2 and went to snow trails in Mansfield for snow tubing.

Our whole family agreed that this was a favorite rental that had something for everyone. The house was exactly as described and we enjoyed everything about our stay. There were just a couple of minor things that we needed to reach out to Lindsey and Dylan with and they were incredibly responsive. The house was perfect for a relaxing family vacation. We definitely took advantage of the pool and basically lived in the screened-in porch for most of our stay. It was also super-drivable and we were able to explore the National Park, take the ferry for a day-trip to Pelee Island, and try a few wineries. It was definitely a 5-star experience.

David's place was a gem! It was very comfortable and cozy. The food that was set out for breakfast was excellent and we had homemade Amish cinnamon rolls as well. David let us clean our bikes off with his hose. We felt very safe there and we slept very well. Beds were excellent.

Stacey’s place was really beautiful! She put a lot of thoughtful finishing touches into the space that made it extra cozy and special… also the heated floors were really cool and unique. Her space is above a working kennel, so make sure you are comfortable with dogs. She did give us a very warm intro to any dogs that were in the property that were there during our stay and they were all very friendly, plus Stacey made sure there were no overnight dogs in the kennel to make our stay more peaceful. Heads up that the space is up a steep staircase. It was not an issue for us even with a baby in an infant car seat but if you have any mobility issues keep that in mind! Overall, Stacey was great. Her place is beautiful and cozy in a peaceful countryside!

We were in town for an impromptu family reunion with plans to also enjoy the activities at Oglebay and Wheeling Park with our young children. This property exceeded our desires and was exactly what we were hoping for. It’s in a perfect location to these locales and others in the Wheeling/Ohio Valley area. The ‘Barn’ is creatively decorated with a very comfortable living space, bedrooms, and outdoor space that has everything you will need. If you are looking for something unique in a quiet, idyllic setting, reserved this place. We can’t wait to come back!

I could not have asked for a better experience. The hosts were amazing. The place was all I expected plus much more. I am already planning my next trip. Totally worth the price. I definitely got Bocked Up! If ya know ya know! Can't wait to try the barn next time.

Annamarie and Jim were incredible hosts and their barn was perfect! The whole family loved it. From climbing up to the tower to playing with the chicks, the dog Mack, and farm cats there was always something to do. We can’t wait to have another trip to Ohio.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The accomodations were clean and incredibly peaceful. Michelle is a wonderful host who makes herself available whenever you need her, while also respecting your privacy. She is perfectly helpful without being intrusive. I can't say enough about this unique experience. Rustic charm while still including the modern essentials that you'll want. The horses and other animals that you can interact with add so much charm, and you absolutely cannot beat the price of this accomodation. 5 out of 5 stars, we will absolutely stay again when in the area.

Erin and Luke’s place is beautiful. The entry was like an enchanted garden. The property is breathtaking with rolling hills, fields, and animals. Our daughters absolutely loved running on the paths and seeing the animals. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay. We were very blessed to spend quality time at Clover Fields Farm and will be back.

Absolutely lovely. Large home with all the amenities. The photos don’t really do the home justice. Beautiful Historic updated Home, and the property is very peaceful. Melanie is communicative and quick to respond. We booked both her properties and were able to walk across the yards. We stayed for several days before and after our wedding.
