Family-friendly vacation rentals in Niort

What a serene and peaceful location, I've been visiting this area for 12 years and this is the 1st Airbnb we really didn't want to leave. We thoroughly enjoyed how private and tranquil the whole space was, besides some visits from a very friendly dog and of course a warm welcome from Fabien and his daughter we saw nobody else for the entirety of our stay. Fabien went out of his way to offer us any support we needed, and we couldn't recommend his place more! It's the perfect location for a family stay, and our only regret is that we didn't have more time to stay explore the local surroundings. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thank you again Fabien! we hope to see you next year.

A wonderful home that is really fully equipped! Everything is thought out and planned so that we have a great time! We had a great stay, in a quiet place, very nice and the jacuzzi is a real plus in this accommodation which is super well located for visiting La Rochelle and its surroundings 😉

We had a great weekend with friends at Roz's. The house is very beautiful, clean, spacious. Everything is provided (bed linen, towels, etc.). Small touches were waiting for us, it's a plus that we really appreciated. The many activities available on site occupied us well, we did not leave the weekend house: pool, jacuzzi, billiards, ping pong, darts, etc. Small dedication to Bob who welcomed us very warmly!

Fabulous stay after a long drive drive Brigitte was there to greet us your own enclosed garden which was amazing for us as we had our 2 dogs , and secure parking spot with electric gates, nice and clean felt like home from home , peaceful and quiet will return again

We had a great time in a well equipped, pleasant, comfortable, quiet and very well suited for families with dogs (large and perfectly enclosed grounds). We were very well received by our hosts, always available and good advice for walks nearby. Great weekend with the family.

We stayed there for a family vacation with 2 children aged 9 and 6. Accommodation as described in a truly peaceful environment. Chris is a super welcoming host, very responsive and accommodating. We won't hesitate to return to Chris's place on our next visits to Thairé.

Very good welcome from Wendy and Chris, they were attentive and always available to answer our questions. All the information is available on their website and in the welcome booklet of the cottage (in English and French). The place is pleasant and well thought out for children... and their parents! Our 9 year old son really loved the pirate boat and especially the pool!!! It has everything you need in the cottage including games and children's books. We had a brilliant two weeks at Philippe’s gite. It is located in a charming village with good amenities- bakery/shop, restaurant/bar, public tennis courts and lovely cycle rides and walks right on the doorstep. The weather was hot and sunny and we enjoyed the refreshing pool and outdoor dining areas. Everything has been carefully arranged for the comfort of guests and philippe was welcoming and discreet. Would highly recommend this for a family or group of families to visit. A bit of a drive to sightseeing places but we found lots of nice parks and the little lake nearby was lovely!

Thank you both for hosting us, we had a great time during our 6 night stay.! The location is a rural retreat that is rich with nature. Our children (10 and 8) loved trying to catch the frogs around the lake, and the lizards that sunbathed on the paths. We saw toads, birds of prey, and dragonflies, and heard kingfishers and owls. The lake was magical, reminded me of the famous Redmire pool in the UK. Lots of carp showing on the surface. I had some memorable fishing sessions trying to outwit them! The pool was clean and safe with a shallow end. We all spent a lot of time in there on the hot days! Games room a fun edition, we enjoyed ping pong and darts. We didn't try golf but saw others playing. Accommodation was well equipped, especially the kitchen which even had a garlic press and full bbq utensils including wooden skewers. Shower nice and powerful. Everything spotlessly clean. We had a bbq most nights which was provided on the patio. We would recommend!

Beautiful atypical house, quietly located. The owner was very welcoming and small gifts were waiting for us upon arrival. We had a good week at Violette and her husband's place. Communication with them was always very good. We recommend for a visit to the Charente Maritime and Marais Poitevin.

We had a pleasant stay at Patrick's. This is our second year coming to spend our vacation there. The accommodation is very well-equipped, everything is available (bed linen, towels, baby equipment). The house is spacious. The garden is beautifully decorated. And the best part is the indoor pool with its large space and beach with deckchairs. It is a property perfectly suited to large families where everyone can find a space to relax. We highly recommend it. In addition, the owners are very friendly.
