Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Nevada City

I really enjoyed our stay here. It’s really close to town. The house is comfortable and we felt right at home. She has small things like makeup towels, sharp knives, and nice pots. I also really appreciate the quality and scents of the cleaning products and toiletries. It’s beautifully decorated and the yard is big enough for a dog or your children to run around. We would definitely recommend staying here.

We booked with Julia & Craig very last-minute and later in the day when weather conditions prevented us from reaching our initial rental in Truckee. They were highly-accommodating, very responsive, and in less than an hour of booking we were getting settled in at their rental. The house itself was beautiful and well-maintained, and much nicer than what we were expecting to get for a day-of booking. Check-in was seamless and their instructions were clear and comprehensive. We will definitely be booking with Jule Vacation Rentals again if we're ever in the area. Thanks Julia & Craig!

The cabin was very cozy and clean! It looks just as described. Very peaceful and private. My dogs enjoyed the cabin and enjoyed the dog walking trail that was listed on the guest book. Definitely planning to come again!

The house is huge (bigger than the photos represent) and great for big groups! 6 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms is fantastic for multiple families. BR2-4 have queen beds, BR5's sofa is a sofa bed. BR6 is a huge bedroom with couches, a big TV, and a king bed (from the photos I guessed BR6 would be some converted open loft area, but it has its own door and the windows all have pulldown shades for a proper bedroom). The first floor has BR5 and 1.5 baths and the kitchen/living areas. The second floor has five bedrooms, 2 full baths, and BR3 master has its own additional full bath. There's a long loop driveway that can fit many cars, but be careful if there's snow on the steep sections. We stayed here to go to Soda Springs and Boreal for skiing (a little over a half hour away). The downstairs and upstairs have separate Nest thermostats for HVAC control. The house is great value (compared to places in Tahoe proper). The host is very responsive. Highly recommended!

Scott's house in Nevada is the gold standard for what AirBnB experiences should be like. Our family has stayed in many an AirBnB, and this house definitely ranks in the top 3. The house itself is immaculate and at the same time incredibly warm. They layout is perfect -- large kitchen for the many meals we cooked, separate study/TV room, HUGE master bedroom, spacious upper floor, and 2 extremely clean bathrooms (one with massive tub). What we appreciated most was that each room had it's own vibe. Many homes these days have an open layout which is great, but having separate areas where eating, reading, TV, gaming can take place simultaneously without the accompanying noisy chaos is rare -- and this is what Scott's house offers. Also, the proximity to downtown Nevada City is perfect. It's advertised as a 15 minute walk, but it's really closer to 10 or less. And Nevada City is a California gem....one of our favorite towns. Net net....perfect experience and we'll be back!

Amazing time at this magical place! So relaxing, lots of space to roam outside and even inside the house. My family really enjoyed the movie room and spacious kitchen, packed with all supplies you’d need. We ended up driving 40 minutes to COD Creek Falls to explore, so worth the beautiful hike to a waterfall. I would like to note for transparency that hot tub and sauna do not get/stay as hot as I am used to (older models) the value of everything was still worth all 5 stars overall! This is my second time staying at May's place and it is exactly as I remember it, breathtaking upon entrance. This time I brought my partner and she was blown away by the incredible experience. Most notably, sipping champagne in the spa, surrounded by trees, a rushing creek, singing birds, and the sun's rays painting the forest on the hill opposite us. Truly can't be beat.

We had a great stay! The backyard was definitely the highlight. Our one year old had the best time playing in the pool and running around the massive lawn. Home was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed! Thanks, Brian!

Such a comfortable, peaceful space. It was perfect for 2 couples for the weekend - we were there for a trail running race in the area. The only thing that could have been better was the weather so that we might’ve enjoyed the beautiful deck! Would stay again in a heartbeat.

This home was a fantastic place to stay, clean, well-appointed, and full of charm. The bed was especially cozy, making it easy to relax after a full day out. While parking took a little extra effort, the unbeatable location made it well worth it. I’d gladly return!

Paul’s place is spacious and inviting. The quiet woodsy location was serene but still accessible to town and our daughter was absolutely bananas for the zip line!

Exactly what we were looking for! We wanted one night away with our two dogs and this was PERFECT. The dogs were so happy I was scared they would never want to leave. The house is so CUTE and super cool. Loved how off the grid and fully prepared the house was

We had a wonderful time at this adorable cabin. It was so cozy and perfect for a little family getting away. It made a huge difference for us that it was pet friendly and the hosts were so accommodating and friendly! We felt right at home! We look forward to going back again someday!

We had a lovely time at this peaceful, very cozy cabin. We loved the sound of the creek running below, the surrounding trees and nature, the outdoor tub, the goats! Being so close to Nevada City and amazing rivers and trails was such a treat.

Had a really lovely stay with my sons. The cabin was very clean and tidy. Check-in and out was easy and the location is beautiful. Definitely recommend.

The private backyard with an outside tub, shower and sauna overlooked a beautiful private view of spring trees. The place was perfect for a little getaway. It’s a close drive to downtown Nevada City. I highly recommend it and will definitely want to stay again. So grateful for the opportunity to stay there.

This cabin is awesome. The peaceful wooded surroundings are great, the fireplace is nice and comfy, and there’s plenty to do inside the cabin.

Had the most amazing stay with my pups to get away from the city. They got to run around and be free while we enjoyed the hot tub. The aesthetics of the place were 10/10. Used the wood burning stove religiously as it was a bit chilly, which made the stay so cozy. Grass valley is a really really cute town too. The perfect private quiet getaway.

Our winter getaway at this cabin exceeded all expectations. The warm and cozy atmosphere made for a perfect retreat, with plenty of room to comfortably accommodate our group of four adults and three children. The spacious layout allowed everyone to both rest and enjoy themselves. The surroundings were serene and peaceful. Based on our wonderful experience, we wholeheartedly recommend this cabin.
