House vacation rentals in Nevada City

We loved staying here, it’s a house full of charm and well kept up! It’s very walkable to downtown. We would definitely stay here again!

We arranged for several families to meet at John’s place and we had a wonderful family reunion while enjoying the Victorian Christmas celebration. John’s house was perfect for a large family gathering and a big family meal with his gorgeous kitchen table. We will definitely be returning to John’s beautiful home

Eva’s home is a peaceful, beautiful retreat, with the sound of wind in the trees, birds, and a running creek. The many windows and deck magnify the natural beauty and privacy of the location. The house is well laid out, spacious and airy, with a marvelous gourmet kitchen and welcoming master suite. ADA accessibility and central heating/AC make it comfortable for everyone. Furnishings are uncluttered and relaxed. It is a delightful place to stay at home and enjoy!

This place was perfect for our gathering! We had about 13 folks joining us for a 2 night stay. The home is large and spacious with an awesome porch to chill on amongst the trees. The home is on the lake, just a steep and short hike down to a “beach”. The beachside is quite rocky and uneven. You definitely need ample chairs to enjoy it. There is a cove with softer ground, but the water level at the time we went was so low that it was too muddy to set up on. The host informed us that this is new - only in the past couple of years has the water level been affected by PG&E. The water was very muddy due to this. Overall the home was cozy and beautiful. For the area and how far from town you are it’s a bit pricey, but the lakeside views make it worth it. The instructions are laid out very clearly but there are multiple places to check for instructions and check out procedures. Be sure to look at them all because we found that not all of them list the same rules with the same detail.

Beautiful stay at Julia’s home! We were looking for a quiet place to get away and this spot was perfect. Stocked kitchen, clean and cozy space, gorgeous views and nature sounds. Projector was fun for movies at night!

I was looking for an inspiring, relaxing and spacious place for my family to stay during our daughter's wedding weekend in Grass Valley. Leah's place was everything I hoped it would be, and easy to enjoy. Leah was great about communications. Five stars all the way.

Clean and comfortable. Well appointed and supplied. Great place to come back to rest after long days exploring the beauty of the region.

Our stay was great! The neighborhood is peaceful. The hot tub is a great amenity on the property. I would highly recommend staying here!

We had such a great stay! The property was perfect for our family getaway—our kids especially loved the trampoline and the hot tub (they barely wanted to come inside!). Our Doberman, Lincoln, had the best time playing fetch in the large open space—it was such a treat to find a spot that’s truly dog-friendly. Melissa was a delightful host—super responsive and thoughtful. She even set up a fun scavenger hunt for the kids to find hidden gnomes around the property, which they absolutely loved. It’s little touches like that that made our stay really special. We’d love to come back again. Highly recommend!

Andy was super easy to communicate with and very accommodating. The home is perfectly situated with easy access to snowboarding and the Bay Area. We hope to stay there again!

Beautiful surroundings and accommodating sleeping and bathroom arrangements. I appreciate the nespresso! Lots of towels and comfortable places to sit and hang out and eat. Pool was so wonderful. To have a pool to one’s self is so great! We will return!

This is a truly special place. The house is wonderful—beautifully designed and decorated and extremely comfortable. But the outdoor space makes it really amazing. It is a great place to relax, great for grilling, and surrounded by beautiful trees, birds, with lots of room for our little one to play. Clare is incredibly responsive and friendly. We loved every minute of our stay and can’t wait to come back again some time.

Dan and Laura were very kind and responded quickly and honestly to all the questions we had leading up to our trip as well as during our trip. The house was beautiful. It worked perfectly for our group of 12 adults. We really appreciated the convenience of multiple bathrooms. My guests enjoyed the beautiful open kitchen, the large size tv in the living room, the downstairs entertainment room, and the hot tub the most. Thank you so much for being wonderful hosts! It made my milestone birthday that much more special.(:

What a great experience and relaxing location. The home is beautiful, clean, well cared for and stocked with nicer than usual amenities. But the back yard steals the show. Set in amongst the trees is a luxurious home in-ground pool and hot tub with beautiful landscape, pool deck and back patio with table. Just up from town, location can't be beat!

We had the most wonderful time in Marilyn and David's gorgeous home. The home is very large and accommodated our large group perfectly with plenty of large gathering spaces and private areas as well. The pool and hot tub are awesome. It even has a phonograph which was awesome and we enjoyed and danced to!! The entire property has a panoramic view of the foothills and is breathtaking and perfect for star gazing. Highly recommend!! Thanks so much for everything!!! The Wheelers

Beds were all very comfortable and clean. House was fun and interesting and thematically decorated. Kitchen was well stocked and easy to prepare food in. We had a very short stay but it was perfect for our needs and we would most certainly do it again! Thank you!!!

This is such a beautiful, scenic retreat in the woods! Cassundra is very flexible, responsive and kind and made us feel right at home. There are so many thoughtful and homey touches in the cabin. We will be back!

The cabin near Scott’s Flat Lake was lovely and very relaxing during our weekend trip. The cabin is well appointed and decorated with a modern touch. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck by the gas fire pit at night. The cabin is close to the Cascade Shores launch ramp and trail to the beach. We brought our inflatable SUP down and enjoyed a relaxing lakeside day. The location and the cabin were amazing. Highly recommend!

Would absolutely stay here again! Right in the middle of town, I was able to walk to the cutest shops & restaurants! All the while feeling like I had a sanctuary and private space to unwind! Three stories, and a gorgeous outdoor space 💜

Lovely cottage in grass valley, close to Nevada city and the Yuba River. Beds were comfy and the home had everything we needed including board games which we used.

Gorgeous home!! It is really far from town on a winding country road but it is gorgeous. Well stocked and comfortable stay. Beautiful view!!

Wow Wow Wow!!! The view and grounds are amazing! The beds are all very comfortable and the linens are super soft. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware which made dinners easy. Plenty of seating and tables for all 8 of us. Bathrooms are updated with all of the amenities. The outdoor area was our favorite. They have many outdoor option’s when it comes to seating. Couches, lounges, chairs, beautiful large grass area, not to mention the kayaks, paddle boards and tubes. Steve and Sachie’s place is conveniently located to many of the surrounding cities. Our favorite restaurant was a very short drive and so delicious. Twelve 28 Kitchen will not disappoint. I have to end this review with Wow the view is amazing from this home. Thank you Steve and Sachie, we can’t wait to come back! Patti

Nicely decorated, comfortable, clean, nicely decorated, bed extremely comfortable, more than my bed at home, which is rare, beautiful art work displayed, that Catherine created. Friendly and kind during interactions. Had everything we needed and more. Nice outdoor area for coffee, close to town, yet a country setting. I would definitely return in the future. 10/10
