Guesthouse vacation rentals in Nevada City

This is a comfortable, spacious and private cottage. I was able to relax, cook dinner, and sleep well. The decor is beautiful and there was a sweet little seasonal bouquet in a vase on the dining table to welcome me when I arrived. Hosts are responsive, accommodating and friendly. The WiFi was fast and reliable which was important for my work trip!

Phoebe and TK’s place was truly a peaceful sanctuary. The robes, coffee, bottle of wine and wonderful bathroom amentites made it feel like a weekend of luxury. They truly thought of everything. The kitchen was fully stocked with all you might need to make full meals, which we did. And they even had an assortment of spices to choose from. The bed was extremely comfortable and the views were stunning. We saw deer and quail each day. Such a lovely getaway for my birthday with my friend. We felt pampered by the thoughtful touches and intentional care put into this space. 100% recommend.

Suzanne is a wonderful host! She is so kind, attentive to the needs of her guests. I am touched by her caring spirit. The cottage will always hold a special place in my heart.

Serene & absolutely beautiful everywhere you look. Very Comfortable bed, quiet & so relaxing. Loved how remote, private & out in the country it is. And also close to downtown & stunning hikes to the rushing American River & waterfalls. A must see & visit. Steve was so helpful & responds right away to help. He let me borrow his kitchen oven to bake bread- so nice & welcoming.

My wife and I had a gat stay. The apartment was clean and the kitchen was fully stocked as well as bathroom supplies. I would.definitely stay there again.

I loved staying at Kathryn’s place. Quiet location with peaceful surroundings. Loved the deck out back. My 6 y/o loved listening to the frogs out by the pond at night. Location was perfect. A short drive to Nevada City or downtown Grass Valley. Colfax is close too. Will definitely stay again!

A cute, comfortable little cottage to stay in near Placerville which is such a cute town with lots of art and music to explore. The hosts had good recommendations and cute chickens and cats on the property. The linens were clean and comfortable. Also they provided yummy trail mix and nuts to munch on.

Cute and comfy little cottage. Had everything we needed. Clean, plenty of amenities and walking distance to downtown GV. The washer/dryer was a great addition you don't see often. The only thing we noticed was the garden area was pretty barren. Don't know if that was from the weather or it was being redone but it didn't look like the photos. Small detail but was a bit disappointing.

We had a lovely time here! It was clean and comfy and Stella the cat was very cute.

Great spot in the forest to enjoy peaceful surroundings. The frogs in the background were nice to enjoy from the deck. The interior is well appointed with fully stocked kitchen, a queen bed and chair that converts to bed.

Stayed here for a few nights & it’s was great! The place was super cozy & quiet. Everything was listed accordingly & was perfect for a couple. Definitely will be coming back here! (:

It was a a very nice, peaceful and clean home. New plush linens. Responsive host! About 10 minutes from dining and grocery store. Washer and dryer was a huge plus! Downtown is quaint as was Nevada City. Recliners were comfortable. It does have a workspace with USB and plugs that doubles as a breakfast bar. It does have a privacy entrance gate which must be manually opened and closed. Easy for a couple. The bed was large but on the soft side if that matters. One of the best we’ve stayed at in terms of space, privacy, and amenities. We’d stay again.

Beautiful, yet very affordable, mountain retreat. Amazing large area for our pupper to run around and explore in. Hot tub was amazing. Definitely a steal for the price!

Very simple but well furnished place. Owner is very friendly and helpful. Grass Valley and Nevada City have a small town feel with unlimited hiking and outdoor activities.

I came to this place leaving a toxic relationship. And I just recently achieved 30 days sobriety. I tell you just because maybe someone out there is like me and needs some help. Once I walked into the room, I was just checking back by how peaceful it was and the vibration was all about healing. Joy was nothing short of amazing as far as communication. It turns out she’s a holistic therapist as well. Her husband was a cool guy and her son was friendly too. And their dog is rad just a cool dog and my dog Scarlet and he played together for a little bit and it was cool. I really needed this place and I look forward to staying here again when I need to just go somewhere decompress I would recommend a spot to anybody. And if you like books, there’s so many books to read I mean it’s awesome and I’ve been a great job of building out the room to look amazing and feel amazing. Don’t hesitate to grab this up if you need to.

Needed a place in familiar neighborhood, close to town but quieter. Jessica’s place had it. Tranquil room and furnishings decluttered my mind. Very modern with all necessities I needed. Comfortable bed, couch and spacious. I usually watch TV but I enjoyed the quiet a lot. Enjoyed taking daily walks too. Thanks Jessica. Would definitely stay again.

I had the most wonderful stay at this charming mountain Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, the cozy cabin felt like a home away from home. A peaceful spot with breathtaking views, it was the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature. Sean the host is very chill, friendly, and down-to-earth, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Along side with his friendly dogs. The mountain views were breathtaking, and I couldn’t have asked for a better spot to unwind. I can’t wait to come back!

This location was a perfect roadtrip getaway for our family of four. The town was super close by and walkable with many options for food, beverages, and shopping. Our children loved Tracy’s place; they felt right at home with the super cute bunk bed, toys, books, games, and night light. Our bed was huge and comfortable, the moveable tv was great, and the record player was awesome to share with our kids. Thank you!!!

Great cottage for a peaceful vacation. It is right in the middle of the natur. Cottage itself was nice and cozy with all the basic amenities, me and my family really enjoyed it. Heidi was communicative throughout the stay. We will definitely visit again in the summer

Very clean, cozy, and well equipped. Perfect location for a long weekend for me and my two young kids. We did two day trips to Donner Ski Ranch in Truckee, with a short detour to the Bear River. David is super nice, it was a pleasure meeting him.

This cabin is such a peaceful getaway. It sits at the top of a hill, and although the property owners are in a nearby home, it was almost like they weren't there. If you want to get away from people and crowds and the city, this is the spot. The host was very responsive and helpful. All in all, a positive experience, and we wouldn't hesitate to come back.

The apartment was comfy and stylish. We enjoyed the artwork, the supply of KCups for the KEURIG, and the turntable and albums. A real treat was meeting the hosts dogs, Rocky and Lily. The apartment is in a good location close to town. The hosts were very accomodating and made sure we had everything we needed. The outdoor seating area was a nice place to enjoy a glass of wine and soak in fresh air and late afternoon sun. A good home away spot for a visit to the area.
