5/5 Stars We had the most incredible stay at this BNB! The hosts Philip & Minnie are truly amazing - warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Navigation: The location was quite easy to find, and the property's serene surroundings immediately put us at ease. Being situated right on the Periyar river was a huge bonus - the views were breathtaking! This BNB is genuinely one of the best places to relax and unwind. We highly recommend booking it for at least 2 days or more to fully experience the tranquility and charm of the place. Overall, our stay was a completely different experience from the usual hotel stays. The hosts' hospitality, the stunning location, and the cozy ambiance all combined to create an unforgettable getaway. Special mention to Caretaker Ganesh, for taking exceptional care of us. We loved staying in the tree hut! Amma Sulu made lovely food for us and the accommodating family was very helpful. Can highly recommend if you visit Kumily!

We had a comfortable stay at HOME and kumily , and the best part is its proximity to major tourist locations, which made our travel very convenient. The kitchen was well-equipped with all necessary amenities, including a food processor, cooking utensils, water filter, and fridge — which made meal preparation easy and smooth. The two bedrooms we used were clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. However, one of the rooms had been remodeled with a wooden partition, which we personally didn’t prefer, so we opted not to use it. The only concern during our stay was the lack of AC and ventilation. While the weather was cool enough to manage, we feel that installing an AC or enhancing ventilation could make the stay even more comfortable, especially during warmer months. That said, overall, the facilities were top-notch, and we appreciated the peaceful ambiance and accessibility of the property. We’ve left the used utensils behind for cleaning, as instructed. Rajesh’s place is super beautiful and can directly peek into the jungle. The place is clean, tidy, located close to tiger reserve and decent restaurants nearby! Ofc he is such a wonderful host! Totally recommended!
