Treehouse vacation rentals in Mississippi River

Stay was great was a good vibe and nice scenery. Love the trees and tranquility of the neighborhood. Stay wasn’t really luxury but more of regular home just situated in forestry area. Only great thing was scenery. Propane grill caught fire due to a bad propane leak on grill. I’m certified in fire safety. There was no fire extinguisher on site which is very dangerous. Really wanted to use grill. Was able to extinguish fire without extinguisher. This air bnb was missing crucial things. Dishwasher didn’t work , hand washed dishes whole time. Dryer didn’t work air dried clothes. Windows don’t have any privacy can see straight into room. Hot tub wasn’t the cleanest. WiFi and Tv were a joke (didn’t work). Overall property still had nice vibes and resort is amazing.

We had a fabulous stay at The Treehouse. The view is beautiful and we enjoyed sitting on the porch overlooking the lake. It was private and peaceful. The layout was perfect for our family and we had plenty of space. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked. We would love to stay again when visiting Lake Livingston.

We had an amazing time on our 5th wedding anniversary (traditional theme is wood), surrounded by the woods. It’s a very special place, nestled in the piney woods. There was almost as many things to look at in the cabin, with all the art, as there was outside. Very secluded, quiet and peaceful. We’ll have to bring our kiddo next time for the awesome loft!

Great chalet! It was clean and well we're greeted with a dog basket with all the essentials (that was super helpful and amazing). The hot tub was lovely, warm, and CLEAN. All of the beds had different firmness and softness so it can accommodate many different preferences. The dishes were clean, which always makes me happy. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this rental to others.

We had a great time at the Jaybird Treehouse! The weather unfortunately kept us inside most of it, but if we had to be stuck inside, we were happy it was at Kris’ property. We can’t wait to come back in the future!

Super comfortable place. We enjoyed hanging out here. Kitchen was fully stocked with all dishes needed for cooking. Beds were comfortable. Loved the outside deck & hot tub. Scenery was beautiful. Also liked the nearby hikes & town (mini golf and wine tasting were top on our list). The cabin and Broken Bow are a hidden gem. Highly recommend this place and area.

My partner and I stayed here for a relaxing anniversary trip. It was beautiful inside and out. The kitchen was stocked well enough to make several full meals. Ample blankets, pillows, and seating in every room. Visits from both Sully and a neighborhood cat were a welcome addition. Beds were very comfortable. Indoor/outdoor waterfalls were a peaceful, fun addition. We were within 15 minutes from ample grocery shopping and restaurants. The only shower is located downstairs, so keep that in mind if you are planning to avoid the stairs. The bathtub on the main floor was beautiful. If we ever return to the area, this is my #1 spot! As described. Easy to find. Lots of trees and privacy. Lots of shade. Clean. Massage chair was nice touch.

Absolute loved our stay at The Hideaway, and will surely be back to stay here again! Had everything we needed, and the location/views were everything we hoped for. Very peaceful and comfortable. Incredibly communicative and easy to follow instructions from the host - thank you for everything!

Unreal place. Made me feel like a kid camping in a treehouse again. Wish I’d been able to stay longer. Saw some reviews before booking complaining about how close the host’s house is, it absolutely was not a problem for me. The only time I really even saw it was pulling into the driveway. However, light sleepers beware there is nearby train tracks (within a mile give or take) and multiple trains went by late at night. Not a problem for me but may be for someone else.

This cabin was super cute and exactly what we were looking for for a fun little getaway 😊checking in we were surprised with a little treat basket with homemade cookies. Very delicious!

2-yr old son loved the zebras as something new for his birthday. we (mom and dad) enjoyed the hot tub for a relaxing get away.

All I wanted for my 46th birthday was 48 hours of relaxation and I got it! Pictures don’t do this place justice. It is beautifully decorated and incredibly cozy. Perfect romantic getaway. We loved the selection of DVDs and really enjoyed being unplugged, aside from not being able to receive weather alerts. We were able to get enough signal to call and check on my kid by driving up the road a bit.

Super host , amazing location where I proposed to my girl. Host was responsive and thoughtful. Beautiful cabin tucked away.

Fantastic Stay – Highly Recommend! My family had an amazing experience staying at Melissa’s place! The cabin was just as described – clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, with plenty for us and our teenagers to do outdoors, from enjoying the hot tub, to kayaking, wading in the creek, cooking s’mores or just relaxing in a hammock. The host was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The communication was seamless, and I appreciated how quick the host was to respond to any questions I had. The little touches, like fresh towels, complimentary coffee, and the thoughtful guidebook, made our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway from the rush of life. Our family will definitely be back!

The Painted Bird is peaceful and beautiful. Enjoy the outdoors on the 2 spacious decks, relaxing or grilling a yummy burger OR just hanging in the hammocks taking in nature. Tucked away in the woods yet just a few minutes from town. We loved every minute of our stay, comfy, clean and quiet.

This is my sixth time staying at Basecamp, and it is still as wonderful as the first time. Kaci & Waylon keep the treehouse in pristine condition. It's always cozy, and they do not skimp on anything. It is my favorite place to get away for 2-3 days and disconnect.

The treehouse was as described. The setting was comfortable. There was a really nice elevated deck and also a covered picnic table. There was a pristine BBQ grill. The description was clear that there was no wifi. As long as you know that ahead of time you will be fine staying here.

not my 1st treehouse but certainly the one by which all the others will now be judged . From moment I arrived I knew this was the sort of place for me . Very comfortable indeed & deceptively larger than it would appear . A beautiful view of the woods from the rear deck . I loved watching the sun go down & the nocturnal creatures getting up . Location is very easy to find & get to . A great base from which to explore this part of Missouri & further afield. Plenty of restaurants, stores , places to visit within a few minutes easy drive . I managed to meet the host Dave who was extremely friendly & kind . From 1st enquiry through to check out , he has been extremely helpful , informative in his responses which were always prompt . highly recommend both the accommodation & the host

My wife and I had a wonderful stay in Robert’s treehouse. Robert greeted us upon arrival and had everything ready to go for us. The work Robert did on the treehouse was amazing. The place was quiet, relaxing, and private. Hope to be back again!
