Farmstay vacation rentals in Mississippi River

We loved the farm house and had a fantastic time. It was decorated so cool and was clean. Such a fun experience walking the farm and seeing all the animals . Theresa and Harlem do a fantastic job and are so down to earth and friendly. Would highly recommend the farm house !! Can't wait until our next visit.

April and Steve made sure we had everything we needed for our stay and have a very clean home. We weren't able to stick around and enjoy the land but I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

We have been to this area for several years. This place was perfect, quiet and beautiful. I loved looking out the big window to watch the sunrise while having my coffee. Beautiful farm and horses.

Amazing place! The house had a lot of history but plenty of sleep space for our family. The Land was breathtaking! We will be back!

We had a very nice time here and the hosts were very friendly and accomodating to us. The bathtub was very comfortable and the shower was great. The views are amazing and it was very cozy, reminiscent of my grandma's farm in southern Minnesota. It's really not the far from the city but it definitely feels that way. The property also has a bunch of trails to walk on which was appreciated after 17 hours in the car over a couple days! Bed was comfy. Would recommend!

Jesse’s farmhouse was the perfect accommodation for our trip home to visit family for the holidays. There was plenty of space for everyone (to include our pups!) and we enjoyed the quietness after busy, social days with multiple family gatherings. The location was great and somewhat central for us to visit family in Viroqua, Highland, and Madison. We would definitely stay again!

The schoolhouse was a wonderful place for us to stay. It’s private, quiet, & couldn’t have been any cuter. The completely fenced-in backyard was perfect for our two new little puppies. Betty was great to deal with and very friendly and responsive. We really enjoyed the fresh eggs!!

Jason and Lucie (and of course Robin!) were excellent hosts! The Perch was comfortable and cozy and Jason was very responsive to any needs or questions that came up during our stay. We had a wonderful time and we ESPECIALLY loved helping with chicken chores, and hanging out with the adorable chickens :)

This was overall an incredible stay. we hosted our micro wedding at this property and the host was communicative, kind, and helpful. We had some troubles with the hot water in the bridal suite and while things couldn't be fixed during our stay they made sure to come check our the problem quickly and resolve what they could quickly by compensating us. Additionally, they were able to accommodate a late check out upon request in advance. It wasn't perfect but it was close, and the hosts were truly great to work with if there are any issues or requests. Also, we used their wedding tables and chairs which were fantastic.

A cozy little home

The home we stayed in was lovely. The inside was beautiful and well stocked with pots , pans, washing machine, dryer-just like home. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept like a baby. The house is 35 minutes away from college station and the drive was direct and pleasant to and from college station. Easy to find even at night-there was a big sign on the road so you would not miss it. I would rent this home again and we had a lovely weekend. We were there for family weekend. The host, house and the surroundings was fabulous and I would suggest this rental to anyone. The porch was so lovely-there is a swing and I had my coffee in the morning on that swing. Connie and rich were amazing host . They showed love and kindness to us . If I need a place in kewaskum again i definitely would rent the place out again . Very beautiful place !

From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. True southern hospitality. Alma's place was quiet and peaceful (which we needed after a 10-hr car ride) and she even recommended a great place to get takeout which we enjoyed on her screened in porch. She was quick to communicate. Bed was comfy. There was no TV - which was GREAT for us so we were not distracted when trying to relax. We even took a stroll in the neighborhood and felt safe. Definitely would stay here again when driving back from Florida. Worth every penny!

Donna was a great host. We had the best time and felt at home. My husband loved the beds they were so comfortable. We will definitely be back soon.

The Sedge Wood Farmhouse/Stacy’s place is so welcoming, peaceful, well equipped and very clean. Stacy is very responsive and easy to communicate with. A friend and I stayed for two nights while hiking the Ice Age Trail and it was a perfect place to come “home” to. We got to meet Ashly who shared interesting information with us about the farm and farming practices that they use. This is a great location for people hiking the Ice Age Trail in Chippewa and Taylor Counties. Would definitely stay again when in the area!

We had a great stay! Google maps did take us to a house one driveway past the right one. Luckily a nice gentleman directed us where to go. He said he frequently gets people at his home looking for the Airbnb. We loved enjoying the hot tub and mornings watching the cows. Though the area is quite private, it is still a working ranch. In the morning and evening, a gentleman on a gator was driving through the nearby pastor doing his work. Just be mindful of that possibility, I had the curtains drawn one morning as he came by and was standing in the kitchen in a shirt and my knickers. 😆 This place is perfect for a recharge and is close to great restaurants and plenty to do. The Mid America Museum was an awesome visit along with the shops in Hot Springs. We will absolutely be returning!!!

Lydia place was perfect for our short stay. Had all the amenities a d necessity that a family of 4 need . My girls enjoyed the surrounding, putting the goats, chicken and dog. Lydia was an excellent host

This was our 5th year in a row celebrating our father/grandfather staying at Amy and Levi's place which is ideal for 6 grown men to share comfortably. Close to the fishing we do and as always they are very accommodating. Highly recommend the peaceful serene setting and our favorite part is being greeted by the longhorns on the property. We'll be back again next April. Thanks so much.

We could not have asked for a better getaway for our family! Amy is a thoughtful and responsive host, and we loved the farmhouse. The space is both cozy and spacious, as well as very comfortable, and perfect for us to slow down and enjoy being out in the country. We had fun exploring around Rusk and then relaxing at the farmhouse. We would love to come back again in the future!

We had a great time at Ollie's place! It was super comfortable and cozy, just the right size for our family of four. We even lucked out and got to tag along on a tour of the farm and Ollie gifted us a dozen farm fresh eggs! Thank you for making our weekend lovely.
