Houseboat vacation rentals in Mississippi River

This place was exactly what we were looking for and needed. Great time fishing for three days. Dean is a great host. We will be back in the fall.

A very clean space with plenty of to spread out. As convenient as you can get for fishing.

Second time to stay on the boat, and it was just as I remembered! Relaxing and beautiful! It is quite a walk from the parking lot to the boat so either bring your own wagon or use their black cart that’s for everyone. Fey was very good at responding back to me! Can’t wait to return!

Great little place if you’re looking to stay in the area—not far from Monroe. No internet in the unit and the service can be spotty depending on which carrier you use.

The Driftwood houseboat was delightful! Located on Iowa’s only island.. Beautiful views of the marina; right along the Mississippi river. Great location for getting to natural areas, plus towns up and down the Mississippi in Illinois and Iowa. I would recommend it. We would like to go back and try another houseboat. Kelly was Wonderful!

Our group of 17 had a lot more fun. We were comfortable and had plenty of space to mingle relax and enjoy our weekend. The charter boats picked us up right off the back of the boat. Accommodations were comfortable and everyone just simply enjoyed the unique layout of the rooms/showers and bar area. Will definitely go back.

This place was incredible! Definitely didn't feel like I was in the middle of illinois. The AirBnB was so cool with all of the free range animals wandering around it. Cant wait until they build more AirBnbs. We will definitely be returning.

When you are fishing or hunting in Venice every minute counts... having the boat in the water just a few steps from your bed puts you first in line to buy bait & first to the fishing spot! After you've caught your limit, skip the wait at the marina cleaning table, mark has got a private cleaning table & ice machine on the pier to make it that much easier for you! The houseboat was clean, comfortable and made our fishing trip a breeze! Plenty of linens, ice cold A/C & comfortable beds made our sleep a 10/10. I have stay in many motels, hotels and other Airbnb's in Venice but I will definitely be back to this one!

Beautiful sunrises, sunsets, scenery. Plenty of wildlife. Even photographed a bald eagle hunting on the river. Plenty of room inside for 3 people. Could barely even notice the creaking and waves at night. Secluded, yet close to city life. We did have a run in with some wasps, Brandon came out and sprayed for us. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves so much we didn’t want to leave!!

Had trouble with WiFi but Ronnie got right back to me and problem solved. Greatly enjoyed fishing off the back porch. We found a wildlife reserve less than 3 miles from the house to take our kayaks out. Just a great relaxing stay.

Our family stayed as part of a road trip around Iowa. We always look for unique places to stay, and a houseboat was a great experience! It was bigger than we expected, well supplied, and clean and easy to use. Our party was 2 adults and 4 kids (ages 2-11) and we had plenty of room. The kids thought the sleeping quarters were super fun, and the play kitchen kept my toddler entertained in the evenings. The kitchen was very functional, and we made breakfast and dinner there each day. The roof outdoor space looked fun, but we didn't use it given the cold weather and the young kids. We felt no rocking from being on the water. The hosts gave clear instructions on finding the houseboat, as well as with the checkout process. Very happy with our stay.

This was such a fun stay! The location was perfect and a quick drive into town! We had a great time enjoying the outdoors and local night life. The hosts were super responsive and checked in regularly to ensure we were having a great time.

Found this place last minute and ended up working out great and had good communication with the host. No issues . Hot shower and docked my boat to the house pretty easily .

Amy’s place was a great and unique stay for anyone looking to stay in a house boat! We were in the area for a fishing trip, and this was the perfect location. The charters picked us up right from the back of the house. Then we were able to fish off the dock, and caught a 40 lb drum!! Very clean house and comfy beds. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area looking to come to Venice for a fishing trip!

The Tigers Den 2 was an amazing stay for myself, as well as the rest of the fishing party! The layout makes you feel right at home, you could fish off of the sides and you're as close to prime fishing as you can get, without wading out there! I definitely recommend and will be looking forward to booming again for our next trip!

We rented for the weekend for our Anniversary! It was the perfect getaway. Nicer & more spacious than we’d anticipated. They were so helpful giving instructions and a great map of the water. It was so much fun and we will do it again for sure!

Extremely pleased with our stay and really enjoyed being right on the water. Everyone was very responsive and had there been a need for anything I know we would have been accommodated immediately. Would recommend this stay to others and if back in the area, looking forward to spending time at millennium! Will point out though we didn’t care, other Airbnbs they offer are all in the same marina and you are within 50 yards of others. We didn’t have an issue with it but you’re not completely secluded per se but that shouldn’t deter you from this beautiful stay.
