He provided us with insightful local tips, from hidden waterfalls to the best places to savor authentic Malnad cuisine. The breakfast and dinner spreads were delightful, featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients and homemade delicacies. If you're seeking an authentic Chikmagalur experience, look no further. The Coffee Mist is a hidden gem that will leave you feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and deeply connected to nature.

The drive to the homestay was exceptional, offering breathtaking views as you ascend 13 km into the hilltop. However, given its remote location with no nearby cafes, having a kitchen for self-cooking is a great advantage. The host also offers a bonfire experience at an additional cost, which is highly recommended for a cozy evening. What stood out the most was the 24/7 availability of hot water in the cold weather—an absolute blessing! Overall, we loved our stay and would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic retreat with excellent hospitality.

I had a wonderful stay at Nirmala's Homestay. The place was cozy, well-maintained, and had a very peaceful atmosphere. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful, with lush green trees all around and a charming little waterfall nearby that added to the serenity of the place. Mornings were especially magical, waking up to the soothing sounds of birds chirping. It was the perfect escape from city life, offering a refreshing and relaxing experience. The hosts were warm and welcoming, ensuring a comfortable stay. If you’re looking for a tranquil getaway close to nature, this homestay is an excellent choice! Highly recommended

We stayed at the mirror cabin, which is right near the entrance and next to the dome rooms. The view was absolutely beautiful—mountains right in front of you, nature all around, and a peaceful quiet that’s hard to find. And the three dogs- the sweetest welcoming committee you could ask for. The food was a highlight, especially the Chicken 65. It was so good we couldn’t stop at just one —we had to order it again. The cabin was spotless, and the modern amenities made it so easy to relax. With a remote control bed, remote control fan, and remote control curtains - you really don’t need to move much at all.. The outdoor movable bed stole the show. Watching the sunset from there was magical, even though the dome rooms nearby meant privacy was a little limited. Lucky for us there were no guest in the dome rooms. At night, the warm glow from the cabin’s lights made everything feel so cozy. Looking back, we wish we’d booked an extra day—it’s a place you don’t want to leave.
