Monthly Rentals in Madeline Island

We wanted to spend some downtime in the north woods after the holidays, and the tiny house was exactly what we were looking for! The kitchen was well-stocked and everything was just perfect. Reading, eating, sleeping, relaxing in the sauna, and just taking in the beautiful wintry surroundings was so peaceful. Saw lots of wildlife, including a resident red fox. It was also close enough to Bayfield to check out local restaurants and bookstores, and take the ferry to Madeline Island.

Elena's place was a perfect getaway for the weekend away together and away from the kids. Even though it rained most of Saturday, we had a blast just relaxing in the camper watching movies and playing card games, there was plenty of room! Elena was very responsive and was a pleasure to have as a host, we will definitely be seeing if her place is available again on our next trip!

Paul was great. Super friendly. Our kids enjoyed the wooded area, roasting marshmallows on the fire, playing Uno on the deck while listening to music. No TV and WiFi was perfect to disconnect and enjoy hiking and the sandy beaches! Thanks for the great experience.

Great location and comfortable space! Sleeping could get hot if you run hot at night, but ceiling fans and the window ac in the living room helped a lot. Loved how easy it was to access everything in town by walking. We had a car, but you could easily go without and rent a bike or moped right downstairs if you want to go to the state park for hiking or kayaking (which we highly recommend!).
