Die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben. Komfortabel ausgestattet, aber übersichtlich und überladen. Wenngleich auch einige Gebrauchsspuren, war alles sehr sauber. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber verlief stets reibungslos und war sehr entgegenkommend. Die Lage innerhalb Funchal ist sehr gut, wenngleich man den angrenzenden Lärmpegel in den Seitenstraßen akzeptieren muss, weil hier zahlreich Gastronomie zu finden ist… und hiervon profitieren kann. Der oft angesprochene Lärm eines Lokals der Nachbarschaft trat nur an zwei Tagen am Wochenende auf … und war zu ertragen Ich würde die Unterkunft wieder anmieten!

We loved our stay here in the heart of the old town. We were a walkable distance from the beach and the restaurants. The mattress was very comfortable and the apartment was cool and comfortable on a hot day. The outdoor seating was also great for eating.

We had a fantastic stay. The house is spacious with great facilities. The host was very responsive and helpful with queries. Would definitely reccomended to anyone travelling in a large group.

Beautiful place, exactly how described. The host was waiting for us at the property for check in and even accommodated early check in for us. The place is located 2 blocks away from the Funchal cable car and right in the heart of old town Funchal surrounded by lots of local restaurants

Ria da Praia Formosa is a lovely area close to Funchal but away from the big hotels and busy traffic. The beach is natural and beautiful with crashing waves and the little bars and restaurants serve great food without being pretentious or expensive. It’s good to see the locals there too, not just tourists. Atlantic view apartments are at the best location on that beach. We had everything we needed there. It’s great to stroll along the path and good to run along too if you’re a runner like me

Everything was fine. Ray has a good team that takes care of things when he is back in england.

Simple house with all the amenities, well supplied kitchen and plenty sleepplacr with 2 double beds. Very close to the sea with great places to drink/eat nearby. Abel was friendly and also very responsive as soon as I sent him a message to his personal phone (but less on airbnb) cheapest place in Paul do Mar, I would recommend for the price. note that kitchen and bedrooms are not connected and you’ll have to walk around.

Lovely, clean, spacious apartment, a stone’s throw from the beach, looking out over the sea. Three of us stayed, so I slept in the living room area with the balcony door open, falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves. All communication with the owner / manager was good. The bedroom fan broke during our stay. They responded quickly, sending someone round to fix it the same afternoon (Sunday). We had a lovely, 10 day holiday based here. I’d definitely recommend this place.

Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub in Heathers Unterkunft. Heather war eine tolle Gastgeberin und immer erreichbar. Die Lage des Hauses ist auch gut für Ausflüge in alle Richtungen. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet.

Our stay in the C2 appartment was great. Fabulous master (sleep)room with panoramic view. Our daughter slept confortable on the sofa bed with a provided topper in the separate room. Kitchen corner is a bit small, but still OK for 2-3 persons. Access to the appartment via direct elevator. The hot tub jacuzzi on the top terrace (access via direct stairs from the appartment) is really fantastic to relax in after a day of hiking in Madeira, and comes also with a panoramic view. Allthough the top terrace is shared with another appartment, the C2 hot tub is clearly separated and provides sufficient privacy. Marc is a fantastic host, that really takes care of the property and can provide you with all tips and advice for a splendid stay. On the first day of our stay, there was an issue with the behavior of the first floor guests, but Marc intervened quickly and solved the issue promptly To conlclude : we fully enjoyed our stay in this fantastic appartment, managed by a perfect host.

Celina was a great host! She was there to welcome us when we arrived and had many good tips to give! The airbnb was clean and exactly what we were expecting! There we welcome treats when we arrived which was very sweet! The beds were confortable and the sofabed as well! The kitchen was well equiped and the bathroom very clean! The place itself has a beautiful view of the water! Celina was really reactive when we had questions and was always plesant to interact with! She gave us many treats during the our stay which was so very nice of her! Overall we had a lovely time and we would 100% recommand this place to anyone coming to madeira for a calm and confortable stay! Thank you again!

The building is located at the most beautiful part of the most beautiful promenade of Madeira. The location in unbeatable - the ocean right below our balcony, our strolls along the promenade, with the beautiful village Camara de Lobos on one side, and Funchal suburbs at the other side, through the sea caves. The location is also very convenient for exploring the rest of the island by car, as most of the destinations are no more than 45 minutes away. We stayed during the whole month of April and the apartment included everything we needed, including capsules for the washing machine. As others mentioned, the furniture are old and not very comfortable.

The island is a magical place and this apartment is a true gem. Marc & Nina are really great hosts - proactive, flexible and friendly. The apartment is well equipped - has everything you might need. The view from the jakuzzi is AMAZING. I definitely recommend this place to everyone who is looking for comfort, peace and beautiful view. :) Thanks for hosting us, we will be definitely back someday!
