Vacation rentals with lake access in Madeira Island

Merci de m’avoir accueilli dans votre merveilleux logement ! J’ai apprécié le calme du lieu, la nature environnante, le paysage et évidemment la cascade. De superbes randonnées sont à faire dans le coin pour les amateurs. L’hôte est également très sympathique et même si je ne parle pas le portugais nous avons pu échanger en anglais.

Es war ein fantastischer Aufenthalt. Die Unterkunft liegt an einem Berg mit einer traumhaften Aussicht auf das Meer. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet. Der Whirlpool war, gerade für diese Jahreszeit, perfekt! Duarte hat uns persönlich empfangen und immer sofort auf Nachrichten reagiert, wodurch wir eine super Anreise hatten. Wir würden es jederzeit weiterempfehlen und natürlich auch wiederkommen! 🤗

Schönes Häuschen in der Altstadt. Es super sauber und ließ nichts zu wünschen übrig. Der Balkon hat im Februar bis 14:00 Sonne und Blick auf einen Berg. Zur Begrüßung gab es einen riesigen Obstteller und frische Eier vom eigenen Hof. Danke! Ich habe mich im Ort und Haus wohl gefühlt.

We chose to stay at Constantino’s stunning home as our last stop before leaving the beautiful island, and couldn’t have asked for a better base to end our time in Madeira. Constantino provided many local recs and was super responsive. The home was clean with everything we needed. Can’t say enough! Thank you!

Estadia perfeita! O espaço estava limpo e bem equipado. O anfitrião foi muito preciso na localização e no chekin e super atencioso. Recomendo o espaço e se possível voltarei novamente.

Das Haus ist wirklich sensationell gelegen. Man hat einen tollen Blick auf den Ort, die Bucht und den Atlantik. Restaurants sind in ein paar Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen, trotzdem ist es sehr ruhig. Einkaufen und parken (6€ pro Nacht) kann man super im nahen Supermarkt.

Einfache Kommunikation und problemloser Check-In/-Out, großartige Lage in der Nähe mehrerer guter Restaurants, Tiefgaragenstellplatz in der Nähe, Wohnung gut ausgestattet, im Wohnbereich leider relativ dunkel und ohne Fenster nach draußen. Dachterasse jedoch schön und mit toller Aussicht!

We had a great stay here (over the new year period). The apartment is great, was exactly as per the photos, descriptions and our expectations. Previous reviews we had read mention some noise, there is an element of that but for us it was nothing more than you would expect of any apartment centrally located in a bustling European city; probably more so when we were there as there is a fantastic festive atmosphere over the new year period. There are some fantastic restaurants nearby, we loved Akua and went there a few times during our stay and it is located on a street parallel to this apartment. The hosts of this AirBnB were especially thoughtful, probably the best we have ever come across over many years of using AirBnB. Very helpful, full of useful info and very quick to respond about any queries/advice. Recommend!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Smiling Petals. Claudia is an incredibly attentive host and made us feel right at home . The apartment was well appointed and spotless . The view was spectacular. We would highly recommend staying at Smiling Petals and hope to return !

Angela’s place was excellent, we stayed for a month and loved it. It felt like our holiday home and we loved coming back to it. The views from the balcony were stunning, you couldn’t ask for better. Lovely comfy bed and good shower. Cute little kitchenette with everything you needed to cook simple meals. Lots of good restaurants and coffee shops and supermarket nearby. Excellent bus service from the top of the road to Funchal and out to Camara de Lobos, Ribera Brava and beyond. A lovely man on the reception desk who was most helpful too. It was good to know that Angela and Tomos were available if we needed them. All in all a wonderful holiday, thank you.

Fantastic apartment in a great location. Ideal for a couple or someone travelling on their own. Spotlessly clean, easily accessible from a quiet street, in central area of Funchal, with a great view of the marina from both the bedroom and kitchen areas. Very comfortable bed, ample supply of towels and toiletries, as well as a welcome pack of local food on our arrival. Alex & Lucy were extremely helpful, organising airport transfers for us as well as being readily available for any queries we had. Apartment is in an ideal location, close to the marina, bus stops, tourist information kiosks, boats for dolphin & whale watching, tour buses, Funchal Cathedral, cable cars and many very good restaurants. Air conditioning was excellent and very welcome in the 25+degrees of summer sunshine. We would definitely stay here again. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this beautiful apartment. wunderschöne Unterkunft. sehr sauber und perfekt eingerichtet. Claudia und Ihr Mann waren super Gastgeber, sehr zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und immer für uns da. Auch ein früherer Check-in wurde möglich gemacht. hätten uns kein besseres airbnb in madeira vorstellen können.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Claudia, qui est très accueillante et aux petits soins pour ses hôtes ☺️ L’appartement est très propre, nous avons apprécié la superbe vue et la terrasse privée. Il y’a tout ce qu’il faut pour séjourner sereinement, l’appartement est bien équipé ! Nous avons également apprécié le parking privé.
