Yufuin is a 50-minute drive. Beppu is an hour's drive away. Aso is an hour's drive away. Kyushu's tourist attractions can be reached in 1-2 hours. It is also a 10-minute drive away, great for golf courses, gymnasiums, tennis courts, pools, fairs and clubs. The ski resort is 50 minutes away.
