The place is small, It did the job. I was very happy that Sonoko lets us check in sooner than the check in time which was amazing because my sister had been on traveling for a few days. She needed the extra time to take a shower and rest until we got there. Additionally, while there was a misunderstanding with the parking, she was always very helpful and responsive!

We truly enjoyed our stay in Fukuoka, at Sonoko's apartment! The beds were very comfortable! We were able to do a nice bike ride to a park near a river, and enjoy water birds and nature! The bikes were available from Sonoko! We did go at a tour of Fukuoka back streets and met artists or craft/artistry : Japanese wedding gifts, fish cakes, weaving. Visited shrines and temples and saw the great great great grand child of the first tea tree in Japan (more than 1000 years ago the first tree!!!). We also went to onsen for rejuvenating baths in natural salted water. We sadly left this morning on our way back to America and thanks to Sonoko, there was a luggage scale in the unit and my daughter who bought a lot of things was able to weigh her luggage and made sure not to exceed weight limit. Thank you, Sonoko for beautiful restful and rejuvenating time in Fukuoka!

In addition, it faces Chinatown Street, and it is an area where the old townscape remains in Kumamoto.The shops along the street also retain the old cityscape, such as those that have been renovated from the warehouse.I think it's fun to take a walk.If you extend the walking distance, you will reach Kumamoto Castle in about 10 minutes.As for nightlife, Kumamoto's best downtown street and Kami-dori street are also well accessible.I hope that you can provide a fulfilling time when staying in Kumamoto. Parking: REQRAS There are 5 coin-operated parking lots within about 30 meters of Sakuramachi.(There are TV stations nearby, and there are many coin-operated parking lots.)There are quite a few, so please come by car!It is possible to share and guide in G-MAP.The maximum amount is about 600 yen at night (the lowest is 300 yen).Please confirm the time zone and the amount by G-MAP.

The place is a 5 minute walk from Iriji Station which connects to Tenjin. Making us easy access to shopping area The place is very quiet and peaceful. Feels homey.

It wasn't far from Tenjin Station, but the scenery of the Japanese family neighborhood was so nice. It was convenient to stay and the free bike was so nice.
