I created this accommodation because I wish there was a place like this. ☆This is not a hotel. We want you to think about how you want to spend your time. On sunny days, enjoy morning coffee on the large wooden deck. In the cold winter, warm up with a wood stove, and make and eat a delicious meal yourself. Play your favorite music, and read surrounded by books lining the walls. Take a walk to Gero Station while catching a glimpse of life in Gero. Fishing at sea, picking azaleas, bamboo shoots, and wild potatoes in the mountains, and eating them yourself. Long stays are recommended. Based at Shimonada Cabin, it is about an hour's drive to Matsuyama City. 2.5 hours to Shimanto River. 3 hours to Shikoku Karst. Shopping can be done in Iyo City or Nagahama Town, or you can buy from local fishmongers and greengrocers and cook for yourself. Of course, you can also eat at a nearby restaurant if you book. Anyway, I want you to relax at Shimonada Cabin. One night is too wasteful. I recommend at least 2 days. It is a place that can be enjoyed in good weather or bad.

Libertà, a vacation rental house with a panoramic view of the Seto Inland Sea

A private rental accommodation facility, limited to one group per day, has opened along the coast near Shimonada Station in Iyo City, Ehime Prefecture. The beautiful, clear blue sky and ocean stretch out before you as far as the eye can see.　A calm space is created with plaster as the base. With a panoramic view of the Seto Inland Sea and the sea right in front of you, you can cook in the stylish kitchen on the first floor while watching the sunset. On the second floor, you can create while watching the sunset on the terrace. There is one queen-sized bed.　One Koala sofa bed that converts to a queen size bed. There is one AirWeave double bed on the second floor. It can accommodate up to 4 people. Breakfast includes natural yeast bread and Rodan coffee. For tableware, we use the work of local artists such as Mustakibi and Ryusenkama. For towels, we use Iori towels from Imabari Towel.　We use linen sheets. If you need dinner, you can use the adjacent Shioji restaurant exclusively for guests. Transportation to and from the station is free. We will provide you with a wonderful, rich, and memorable time. 160-year-old renovated kominka house. 2300 m² site, 170 m² building.

We renovated a 160-year-old traditional house in 2023. The total site is 700 tsubo (2300 m ²), and the building is 170 m ², making it very spacious. While it is an 8-minute drive to Kumamoto Castle, it is a cottage where you can relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle. The garden is full of trees and flowers, including a large camphor tree that has been there for over 160 years, black pines, Japanese maples, and bamboo forests, so you can enjoy the trees and flowers in all seasons. The host lives in the adjacent building, so you can feel at home. Take a big, deep breath and refresh yourself from the heart. ●Here’s what you need to know · There are many mosquitoes and insects because there is a garden with many trees. If you don't like insects, it may be difficult to enjoy. The facility is located in a very quiet residential area. Please refrain from having loud conversations in the garden or on the deck after 8 pm.

The house was built in 2005 but the first floor was partially renovated in October 2024. There is an outside deck that has panoramic ocean views. Bedding is one queen, one double and two single beds. There is also a futon mattress if needed (not super comfy). The house is in a residential area so refrain from making loud noise especially after dark. Being surrounded by nature near the ocean, you may occasionally encounter seasonal insects outdoors, particularly around lights at night.
