Family-friendly vacation rentals in Kiawah Island

We had a great few days away at Carolyn’s place. Her place was clean and comfortable and had a wonderful balcony to enjoy the ocean views. We really liked making breakfast to enjoy on the balcony. It was in a great location, easy to walk to the shops and restaurants at Coligny beach (about 15 minutes). The beach out front was beautiful and the pool was wonderful too! Thanks for a lovely stay!

Great place for a couple of small family. The king size bed was very comfotable and the kitchen was perfect to make a quick breakfast meal or enjoy delivery or take out. The pool was a nice quiet place to relax by. Overall, we highly recommend!

The house was perfect for a two week stay for our family of 5 adults, one 2 year old and a 13 year old chocolate lab. House and amenities were great, communication excellent, Kiawah Island picture perfect. Convenient to beach, shopping, neighborhood walks, Night Heron Park and the bike trails. All in all, a great house!

Our three-night stay at this Airbnb was excellent. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, the house was spacious and clean, and the host had put a lot of thought into the decor. The house was even more beautiful than in the photos, and the kitchen was fully prepared with everything we needed. Our whole family loved the house — it was one of the highlights of our trip to Charleston.

The house was beautiful! I can't say enough about the great location with easy walkable access to the beach. Restaurants are drivable and parking was no issue. Joseph was very quick to respond and was very communicative. All photos were accurate for the listing and it was great for a large group. The only negative I would add was for a hot tub malfunctioning that was unplanned but was not able to be resolved during our stay. Joseph was responsive and attempted to troubleshoot remotely however it was unable to be fixed during our time there.

Our family of 2 adults and 2 children (ages 10 and 8) loved our visit at The Dunes! Kim was quick to respond to our questions and friendly each time. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. our girls especially loved sleeping in the very wel built bunk beds. The FULL SIZE washer and dryer were a pleasant surprise. The pool was heated and made swimming in April very fun. It truly felt like bath water! The location was very convenient for biking to restaurants, shopping, ice cream, a splash pad, grocery store, and a playground. The walk to the beach was short and easy. It was never crowded. We would definitely recommend a stay here and are already planning to book a stay here for our next visit!

Michael’s home surpassed our expectations. Beautiful spacious kitchen to fit our family. Everyone was happy with their sleeping arrangements. Screened in heated pool was very nice. We made use of the outside barbecue and hot tub. There were games on the main level and a game room and work out bench on top floor. There was something for all ages. The beach was in walking distance and everything we needed for the beach was there. We used the beach chairs and umbrellas and the 2 wagon’s for the grandkids. Our family came to Hilton Head from 4 different states and we had the best vacation ever! We hope to come back again. Thank you Michael!

We had such a great time staying at Wendy’s place in Hilton Head. We will definitely be staying here again! The location was perfect and quiet, and close to the beach and nearby shops. Wendy was also very helpful and friendly and made sure we had a great time. The place itself was very clean and beautiful. My son loved the large tv and bathroom in his room with the queen bed, along with the balcony. I can’t say enough great things about our stay and the host. We felt right at home!

We enjoyed this Airbnb a lot! Lovely views back and front and the beach is maybe 3 minutes walk (look for the public access sign to the left, about three houses down). Great shower! Lovely kitchen! Comfy sofas! If we ever come back to folly beach, we would love to stay again. For the mobility challenged, it is only 12 steps to front door, unlike a lot of neighboring houses, which are on stilts and have 25+ steps. 😁

We absolutely loved Maryellen’s home! The pier, restaurants and shopping are walking distance. More amenities than what’s listed. The home is pristine and just like the photos. It felt like we were the first ones to ever stay there! We had gorgeous weather so we spent most of our time outside, but the home is the kind of place where you wish for a rainy day, to be forced to enjoy and relax at home. Would most certainly stay again :)

Our stay was absolutely fantastic, April 18-25, we planned on a relaxing vacation and that is exactly what we did. Brandon had given us quite a bit of instructions & recommendations well in advance of our trip and again at our arrival. He checked in with us the first few days making sure we were ok and if we had any questions. He is a fantastic host. The walk to the beach was approximately 4 minutes & Brandon supplied everything and anything you would need for a day at the beach. Including a wagon to get it all there. The public beach, shops and restaurants were a 6 minute walk, with plenty of free parking if you take a vehicle. The unit itself was well stocked with plenty of essentials, and was spotless on arrival. We like to explore different areas but if we were to go back to Hilton Head we would definitely stay here again.. Thank you for being such a great host, Brandon.

We loved our stay here! The beds and sheets are really comfortable. Lots of towels, including beach towels! Katherine also has beach chairs, boogie boards, and some play stuff for the beach. The kitchen and bathrooms are nice, and the rooms are spacious! The house is on a really cute street, but there are some questionable areas around when you get off the street. We didn’t have any issues though! Pretty close to the airport and about 20-30 minutes from everything we wanted to do!

This is a great home and actually had more space and storage than we needed for our 4 night stay. Perfect for a Summerville stay and we loved our visit. Very close to Charleston, the beaches, drivable to Columbia and other end of SC as well. Great host, attentive and responsive. Ve

There were 5 of us for a Bachelorette Party and this home was everything we needed! Great location, 20 minutes from Downtown Charleston, and it had everything we needed. Comfy living space, plenty of room, comfy beds, and plenty of extra linen. It was easy to find in a nice, quiet neighborhood.

Perfect location! Exactly as described! Our blind dog was happy with his space! The wine and coffee was so nice. Can't wait to go back. We loved riding bikes everywhere! Just needed a basket to hold all my items!

Adorable place with lots of space for four on a girls’ trip. Easy walking distance to everything we wanted to do including restaurants, shops, historical homes, museums, etc. Felt safe. Host was responsive and flexible about check-out. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at Jacquelynn's! We had to travel with our two older, yet anxious, dogs for a wedding and it turned out to be the perfect place for us. The loft is detached from the home, making it much more private to go to and from. The place was spotless with cute decor. Even though it is a smaller space, she has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Lots of towels and blankets as well as silverware, coffee pot, and mugs. I was pleasantly surprised at how the bathroom was actually quite spacious for the small space. The most important and best part for us was the peace and quiet. We typically have to worry about outside noise as our dogs will bark at any and every noise they hear. But the loft is nestled in such a quiet and quaint neighborhood, making it perfect for anyone with anxiety ridden dogs. I highly recommend Jacquelynn's loft!

We have been coming to HH for years and this is our new favorite place. Marina has thought of literally everything for her house. She has more towels, pillows, linens, and kitchen supplies than any other place we've stayed. And don't worry about packing up anything for the beach, she has all the beach gear and awesome wagon for easy transport as well. The house was spotless and our dogs loved the fenced in backyard area. I appreciated that the coffee maker was both a dual carafe and single K-cup style machine. It's an easy walk to the beach and there is plenty of entertainment to be had in the house as well. Again, I cannot stress enough how well stocked the place is. We are used to always having to bring extra towels and cooking supplies with us, but it's not the case for this lovely home. We plan on returning here for many years to come, thank you Marina again for sharing your perfect home with us!!

Tricia's place was exactly what we needed in Mt.Pleasant. The beds were comfortable and the towels were plentiful and good quality. The kitchen had more than we needed for cooking and the furniture in the living room was of good quality and comfortable for hanging out and watching TV. The location was very convenient to everything we wanted to do and the deck was a perfect place to relax. Great stay!

This was our 4th stay here…as delightful as ever. Perfect location and very comfortable for our family. We already have trip 5 planned!

Home was very clean and great outdoor space

Condo was very clean and made us feel at home! It was a simple ride on a bike or a short walk to the beach and restaurants! It was close enough that we felt safe to allow our kids to go out and do things on their own. Super close to the pool as well! Rooms were perfect for 4 teenagers. The master was great, as it’s downstairs away from the chaos of the kids! The Beachside staff are very friendly and answer questions quickly. They checked on us frequently. Check in and check out both were very simple! We enjoyed our trip!!

Great place and reasonable price compared to other Charleston options. Record player was a nice add for a relaxing evening
