Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Jalisco

You couldn't ask for a better host than Juan. This is a huge home for a large family or two couples with all the necessities. If you enjoy pickleball, it's half a block away! Everything is virtually within a 10-20 min walk - so no car is necessary unless you want to explore further. With the perfect weather we spent most of our waking hours on the patio and couldn't have asked for a more relaxing environment, apart from the music from the hotel on the lake on weekends - though probably not an issue for most who don't go to bed at 9 😉 My wife and I spent 2 months here, and we're still trying to figure how the time went by so quickly. You will not regret choosing this wonderful home to explore the uniqueness that Ajijic offers, and that is from a couple that have traveled extensively around the world.

It's a very nice place to rest and even more so because we were with children. The only bad thing was that a few days later some neighbors arrived who wanted to play music for all the neighbors and that is annoying and more so at night. although I think other neighbors stayed because after 10 pm they lowered their volume

It was a very comfortable stay, in a very nice, clean and spacious house, it has everything you need in the kitchen and rooms. It's very close to downtown, so you can walk. Rogelio answers all questions quickly and is very friendly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the B&B. It is not very close to town so if you want to go into town there are options - you need to take a taxi or get a rental car.

Margaret’s home was absolutely amazing! It was our first time visiting Puerto Vallarta as a family, and we couldn’t have stayed in a better place. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach and local shops. Carmen and her husband Fidel went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. They helped us book incredible activities and were always eager to assist with anything we needed. Carmen’s cooking was a highlight—every meal was delicious and made with so much care. The pool was a hit with the kids—they practically lived in it! We spent so much quality time together as a family by the pool, which made our trip even more special. We’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend this home to anyone visiting Puerto Vallarta!

The house was wonderful, the location and views were amazing and our hosts were extremely friendly and responsive. I would definitely stay there again.

It was great why we went to a party in the area, the fractionation is right next to the outlets, pity there was no chance to go shopping, everything was great and they always responded when I need help.

Wonderful place in a great location. Very clean. You have to walk up a lot of stairs but worth it. The only thing I would suggest is an air conditioner because it gets very hot, also a long mirror. I would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again. The communication was quick. Very professional. It’s also a very big space.

I loved this sweet apartment so close to the Malecon. The comfy furnishings and colorful art made me feel so at home. Only issue was consistent hot water. Communication and response time with Omar was excellent. And an off street parking spot helped immensely. Mahalo!!

We loved our stay in Ajijic. Caryn’s place was both beautiful and comfortable and had everything we needed. The back yard was spectacular, even better than the pictures! The home was in a quieter area of Ajijic but still walkable to everything and being right next door to one of the best restaurants in town - Casa Lule was a huge plus! Caryn was extremely accommodating and our concierge Becky had great recommendations and was available if we needed anything locally. We would definitely stay again!

Very nice and comfortable cabin in the forest with a beautiful view, you see the volcano of Colima in the distance next to the sunset. The staff attended us very well, Andres was always attentive and very accommodating. There is a store on site, a mini super nearby, and La Valenka restaurant is 10 minutes away and I highly recommend it. Internet and telephone signal are cut off. The road to get there is a cobblestone with many bumps and stops and the entrance is a very steep descent. Otherwise I have no complaints, we stayed almost a week and didn't want to go back

Not only did he pick up my brother and me from the airport, but he also went to the store for us, getting everything on the list we gave him. He was incredibly respectful and responsive, keeping us informed about what he was doing throughout the day. Ulises didn’t just help us—his wife also cooked meals for us! Even though they didn’t want to accept a tip, we insisted. They are genuinely humble and kind people who made us feel so welcome. They both made life so much easier for us. Ulises and his wife live on the property but usually stay in their home unless called upon. In our case, we invited them to join us for breakfast and lunch, and we had such a great time together. The place is just like the photos, super nice and well-kept. The house comes with everything you need to have a pleasant stay and the pools are very comfortable. Since they are heated, my 7-month-old baby enjoyed them very much. They were always attentive. We definitely want to return

Everything was excellent, very nice the cabin, accounts with smart tv with all the apps and internet. A very comfortable bed and what makes it very good quality. Jacuzzi and shower very well, only the bathroom part does not have a door or some division so you can escape the smells and then privacy at the time of needs there is no but can be understood by the space. A very nice private terrace with a nice barbecue, the only detail here is that it would be nice if they had a minimum of a few grill tongs and there is no equipment to move the firewood inside the fireplace either. These are minimal details that are not essential but if they help (in fact we contribute some tongs). But yes or yes we are back, we really liked it. Last observation, they should put in the description that it is a private cabin of another cabin, that is it is in the backyard of another larger cabin.

Taner is super friendly and responsive. He provided us with everything we needed and was promptly available. The house is up the mountain which offers stunning views. The house is big and spacious. Well equipped for large groups. Quiet and peaceful area.
