Vacation rentals with a balcony in Jalisco

Susan’s place was absolutely beautiful – we couldn’t have asked for a better spot to land after coming from Mexico City. Arriving to fresh margaritas, guacamole, and corn chips was such a thoughtful touch – it felt like Susan already knew exactly what we needed after stepping into the Puerto Vallarta heat: a cool drink and a warm welcome! We loved that the pool was right outside our front door – perfect for a quick dip anytime. The aircon in the bedrooms was amazing and made for a super comfortable sleep each night. Both the indoor shower and the garden shower were incredible. We also had a large private balcony where we could relax and watch the sunset with a drink in hand – such a special way to end the day. Susan went above and beyond to make our stay extra special, giving us fantastic recommendations for restaurants and things to do both in Puerto Vallarta and in Sayulita, where we headed next. She was so knowledgeable and helpful throughout our stay.

I really enjoyed my stay! As others have said, there's a final push up the hill that even the taxi couldn't weather, but the payoff is privacy and being enveloped by nature. The hosts were extremely responsive and accommodating when we encountered a minor issue with the unit, so that was much appreciated. The interior is well appointed and had everything that we needed. Be aware of some noise from nearby construction and the neighborhood dogs, but this is to be expected from an urban residential setting in PV. I enjoyed being set back from the nightlife, but still having easy access to the beach and all of the features of the Zona. Great stay!

We researched many houses in Sayulita and it was a difficult choice to narrow down. With this place we picked the right one! Excellent location and easy to walk to and from town as well as the beach. Only one small section of steeper street to manage at the top but pretty easy compared to some of the other places around town and how steep the roads are. Plenty of golf cart rentals if you need one but we never felt it was needed for us. Everything is very close by as this is a nice smaller town that is easily manageable once you spend a few days here. The house has plenty of space and the roof top patio and pool were must haves to relax and enjoy the views. If you are choosing between a few narrowed down selections you won’t be disappointed with this house. We would definitely rent again. Prices in town seemed on average about half of Puerto Vallarta and other heavy tourist Mexico spots for food and drinks. Safe town. Friendly people. Incredible food. Always felt welcomed.

Our stay at Roberto's home was fantastic. The house is very unique and on the top of a hill with a beautiful view - it is just far enough from town to feel very private while still being a walkable distance from everything. Roberto was very friendly and responsive throughout the trip. I highly recommend staying at this listing - it will make your Sayulita experience unforgettable!

We had the most amazing time staying here in Sayulita!! Everything about our stay was perfect! Ernesto was so helpful organizing our group shuttles and the chef experience was superb. We couldn’t have asked for a better place and highly recommend!

Amazing place to stay. Everything was as listed, house was perfect for what we needed and loved the pool. I’d say it was walkable, restaurants and shopping within 15-20 minute walk, uber was very responsive for the times we didn’t feel like walking. Jeffry was very responsive and addresses issues quickly. Only thing I’d suggest is on check out day that cleaning and maintenance staff not start till check out time.

Beautiful property and very well maintained. Location is perfect! It is very close to the beach (4 min walk) and to the town (8 minute walk). We chartered transportation from the airport through the Airbnb and the rental company turned out to be located right next door. They also had golf carts for rent, which was very convenient. They have a restaurant next to the rental place that has great breakfast and dinner. Sayulita is magical! We had an amazing stay.

Alain's place was one of the best Airbnb's we have stayed in! It looks exactly like the pictures, was immaculately clean and extremely well-stocked (especially the kitchen). The building was undergoing repairs so the entire roof area was closed - a big bummer to find out upon our arrival. It worked out fine for us - we spent a ton of time on the huge balcony and the downstairs pool. The building wasn't full so it was always easy to a get a seat at the pool or restaurant. The balcony was always peaceful for us - quiet with the faint sounds of people respectfully having fun at the pool. And you have an obstructed view of the ocean - gorgeous!! It's a quick, cheap Uber to get out to explore or eat great food! I strongly recommend the 5 of December and Versailles for exploring the food scene. The food in old town was touristy and mediocre IMO. We loved our stay and definitely hope to return!

Pictures don't do this Penthouse justice. It's absolutely incredible! The Views are outstanding. No need for a sunset cruise, you can sit on the top deck or lower deck and get the best sunset you've ever seen. The private pool was bigger as well. Most are just tiny lap pools. Not this one. Everything you need to make your stay comfortable is readily available. It's very spacious and well equipped. The beach is right out in front of the condo building with multiple spots to hang out. Town is super close. You can uber within minutes of whatever you want to do. Pablo was awesome to deal with. I texted him a few days before our arrival and everything we wanted was in the condo ready to go. Groceries, refreshments, you name it, and Pablo will have it ready for your arrival. He also set up transportation to and from airport and a fishing trip for the guys. The owner Clive even checked in on us a couple times to make sure everything was great. I would book again for sure!!!

We very much appreciated our stay at Roeland’s condo. The space was clean, spacious, and well equipped, and a convenient location near enough to all the action but not so close that noise is a problem. (Note that it does face a school, so there may be some noise in the morning - easily rectified with a white noise app on your phone). The rooftop pool is worth the price alone! And the ocean view from the balcony is a special treat. Would be happy to stay there again.

We had an amazing time, and this place is absolutely gorgeous. Jorge and Alfredo were wonderful hosts. Pictures don’t do justice to the beauty of this space and the surrounding area. It is so inviting and serene, and it truly helped to make our trip something special. It’s just a short walk down the hill to all the shops, restaurants, and the beach. But honestly, between the private pool and amazing view, no one would blame you for staying in your room all day! Would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back.

My family has been visting Velas Vallarta for over 20 years and used to have a time share here. We were excited to find this charming 2 bedroom available. The resort is welcoming and gorgeous with lush tropical gardens, two great restaurants, and gorgeous beachfront pools and water features. The condo is Two bedrooms/Two baths (primary ensuite and second bedroom has two twin beds with bathroom in the hallway) with kitchen and living room with large balcony.

If you’re trying to get away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place. It’s very very quiet, private, and safe with a professional staff on site who can cater to anything that should arise. Additionally, Todd is an excellent communicator, and only one call or email away. I would recommend this unit to my friends or family, and will likely stay here again in the future. There’s a reason it has excellent reviews.

We had a *fantastic* stay at Casa Kimberly Dawn! The condo is very clean and stylish and has everything one might need for an extended stay. The kitchen is very well equipped and the bed is extremely comfortable. Starting the day sipping coffee on the wrap-around patio and taking in the morning view of Banderas Bay was fantastic. This is an amazing apartment and we hope to stay here again when we're back in PV.
