Family-friendly vacation rentals in Isle of Palms

This was our second time visiting this villa and it is more than worth it. We cannot wait to come back. Clean, close to so many exciting and beautiful things, very communicative host and so many amenities.

Rob‘s place was exactly as described. It was comfortable and we felt right at home while we were there for the week. The beds and pillow were comfortable as well in the shower was great. When we go back to the Charleston area, we will be contacting Rob to make sure his place is available when we go again! Thank you so much, Rob!

Loved the location and this place met all of our needs and expectations! Was very well stocked with toiletries, toilet paper, soap, coffee, etc which seems to be uncommon at places we've stayed before. This was our first stay at Kiawah and we will be back!

The Condo was exactly as described. Thomas was very responsive with any questions we had. No issues arose at all. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Folly Beach

Tricia was extremely responsive and easy to work with! This condo was in the perfect location! Right across the street from the renowned Ion neighborhood with phenomenal food. 10 minutes to downtown Charleston and 10 minutes to Sullivans island beach’s! The condo was so well equipped with linens, towels, toilet paper, soap, and anything else you may need thing your stay! We will definitely be visiting again! Thank you Tricia!

This was our first time visiting Folly and we were not disappointed! Alison's home was just what we were looking for, beautiful clean home right in the heart of Folly. We would absolutely recommend this home; amazing location, everything you need inside, decorated so cute and the pool to top everything off! Can't wait to plan our next visit!

We greatly enjoyed our stay for a nice little getaway after our wedding. It was extremely peaceful and quaint Arrival and departure instructions were easy to follow. We will be back in the future. Thank, Brianna! :)

If you’re looking for a unique place to stay, that’s well situated between the beach and downtown, this is a great option. Anything this place lacks in square footage, it makes up for in character, charm and overall vibe. October mornings with the outdoor shower are not for the faint of heart, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. My wife loved the decor, outdoor lighting, plants in the shower, windows looking out to green-spaces. The bed is super comfy and cozy. Kokomo is awesome, we want to check out Roatan.

Great location in the historic district just around the corner from King Street! We felt like we borrowed someone's charming southern home. Shopping was a 5 minute walk and the fountain at the waterfront with great restaurants was a 15 minute walk. The private courtyard was perfect for a family reunion gathering as the patio furniture sat at least 7. With 3 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, my granddaughter loved the bathtub on the third floor, we would stay here again.

We loved our stay at Jacquelynn's! We had to travel with our two older, yet anxious, dogs for a wedding and it turned out to be the perfect place for us. The loft is detached from the home, making it much more private to go to and from. The place was spotless with cute decor. Even though it is a smaller space, she has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Lots of towels and blankets as well as silverware, coffee pot, and mugs. I was pleasantly surprised at how the bathroom was actually quite spacious for the small space. The most important and best part for us was the peace and quiet. We typically have to worry about outside noise as our dogs will bark at any and every noise they hear. But the loft is nestled in such a quiet and quaint neighborhood, making it perfect for anyone with anxiety ridden dogs. I highly recommend Jacquelynn's loft!

We absolutely loved Maryellen’s home! The pier, restaurants and shopping are walking distance. More amenities than what’s listed. The home is pristine and just like the photos. It felt like we were the first ones to ever stay there! We had gorgeous weather so we spent most of our time outside, but the home is the kind of place where you wish for a rainy day, to be forced to enjoy and relax at home. Would most certainly stay again :)

This is a great home and actually had more space and storage than we needed for our 4 night stay. Perfect for a Summerville stay and we loved our visit. Very close to Charleston, the beaches, drivable to Columbia and other end of SC as well. Great host, attentive and responsive. Ve

There were 5 of us for a Bachelorette Party and this home was everything we needed! Great location, 20 minutes from Downtown Charleston, and it had everything we needed. Comfy living space, plenty of room, comfy beds, and plenty of extra linen. It was easy to find in a nice, quiet neighborhood.

This home is absolutely as nice as the pictures. And the owner is super responsive should you have a question. The icing on the cake is a game room that has tons of stuff to keep the kids busy. And the screened in porch, huge back deck and yard face a nice stream and there is another deck right on the stream to enjoy the wildlife. We would rent this home again in a minute!!

Home was very clean and great outdoor space

Gerald was an excellent host. His place is well situated and in a very walkable area, close to all the attractions that Charleston has to offer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. One of our favorite things was sitting on the porch. It is an older home with quaint charm in a quiet neighborhood. There are several places to eat within walking distance and the location made it quite easy to Uber to downtown when we didn’t want to drive ourselves. Easy check in/ out.

Lots of great places to walk near Airbnb. One of my highlights was renting an e-bike and riding around Sullivan Island and walking around Folly Pier.

Adorable place with lots of space for four on a girls’ trip. Easy walking distance to everything we wanted to do including restaurants, shops, historical homes, museums, etc. Felt safe. Host was responsive and flexible about check-out. Would definitely stay here again!

West and East coast cousins get together for a beautiful stay on Kiawah Island. Three generations and we all loved the home and location. It was spacious enough that all ten of us felt comfortable. There were five adults and five children (infant through age 12). We cooked several meals during our stay and the kitchen was definitely designed for people who love to cook. We rented beach items and bikes through ESPM and enjoyed riding bikes to the beach (about a 10 minute ride) and on the many bike trails on the island. This was a lovely, spacious home. The screened in porch was a great place to sit, chat and enjoy the privacy of the back yard. The area was gorgeous, the house lovely and we would definitely reserve again.

The house was perfect for a getaway for my wife and I. It is a small unit, the first level of a house, but it’s all we needed for our weekend in Charleston. It’s in a beautiful residential area, but we walked all over downtown from there. The neighborhood had several fantastic restaurants, coffee shops, and things to see. It’s a relatively busy area, but nothing like the crowds on King St or further south on the peninsula. We would definitely stay here again!

Amy’s place is centrally located and very lovely. We booked it prior to knowledge about construction but she was upfront with us about this (and it is now included in the listing information), and did offer us a discount as result, which was much appreciated. We appreciated the ease of contacting her. Parking was a little challenging in the neighborhood and heating in the house was a bit uneven with the weather being unseasonably cold on our last day but we managed just fine and enjoyed our stay in this lovely home.

One of my favorite Airbnb stays by far. We immediately felt comfortable in Ryan and Kristy’s home. Bedrooms are roomy with great storage, bathrooms appear to be recently renovated with thoughtful finishes, and the kitchen is well-appointed with a large central island that makes for a great gathering spot. We spent most of our waking hours in the backyard where the screen porch was the perfect spot to curl up with a good book, the fire pit was the place to be on a cool night, and the lakeside dock was the ideal place to lounge with a friend and a drink. Set on a peaceful residential street, close to Folly Beach, and a short drive into downtown, Ryan and Kristy’s place is the perfect home base for your Charleston stay.

The cottage was beautiful and in a great location. We had no issues checking in and anything we needed was right there. Our host was super responsive and accommodating. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
