The best of both worlds... a peaceful respite just minutes from historic downtown Charleston. Walk to Sunrise Park. Canoe the tidal creek. Visit Folly Beach (only 12 minutes!). Bicycle oak and azalea lined avenues. Relax on the back porch. Get-a-Way!
“This deserves to be an AirBnb all-star stay. Beautiful home just outside the city, close enough to be a quick, easy drive in, but far enough to where you have peace and quiet and room to breathe. Kind hosts provide a yummy breakfast and coffee, and our favorite part was they let us take their bikes out to ride around the island. Their insider info led to some amazing views, which was a highlight of our whole trip. Our only critique was the bathroom linens were unusually stiff and uncomfortable, possibly explained by hang drying, not sure. But not a deal breaker at all for us, and if this is something that is sensitive for you, we definitely still recommend this stay but maybe bring your own towels.”
Two blocks off King Street, Cayo Cañón is located in Charleston’s charming historic Cannonborough-Elliottborough (C-E) neighborhood. A traditional (1835) Charleston home, our listing features the home’s entire first floor (1100 sqft), one king bed, one sofa bed, a breakfast nook, deck, gated off street parking, and plenty of outdoor space. When staying at Cayo Cañón, you’ll find yourself steps away from the Holy City’s highest rated restaurants, bars, historical sites, parks, and shopping.
“My wife and I had a great stay at Cayo Canon to celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary. The home is stylishly decorated with a great front porch that we had to ourselves. Tons of amazing restaurants, bars and coffee shops within easy walking distance and the beaches were a short 20 minute ride. Our hosts were quick to respond to any questions and were able to make excellent recommendations. We would absolutely stay there again!”
The best of both worlds... a peaceful respite just eight minutes from historic Charleston. Walk to Sunrise Park. Visit Folly Beach. Bicycle oak and azalea lined avenues. Relax on the front porch. Come for a night or stay for a week... the cottage is yours!
“The cottage was such a great weekend experience! The space was great for 2 people, and is private enough to enjoy the porch and cottage amenities even though you are perched at the top of the property. The fresh flowers and fresh fruit were thoughtful touches, and we really appreciated the warm welcome. We each were able to get settled into a bedroom and did not feel crowded. Charleston proper was a very short drive and we had wonderful dinners and had fun exploring the town each night we were there. There is a grocery store right down the street, and a full-size refrigerator/freezer and oven/stove at the cottage, so we were able to get proper ingredients to prepare some delicious breakfasts and lunches. Overall, fantastic time with great hosts!”
