Monthly Rentals in Idukki Township

This location is a bit remote but totally worth it. A stream runs by the property, a lot of jackfruits around, a small checkdam-waterfall at walking distance and further ahead some beautiful viewpoints. Locals are friendly, a young couple helped us to checkin and an uncle guided us to a viewpoint. Vivin is really kind, he coordinated everything through phone. We were lucky to have booked Sibi's cab from Kochi because they both communicated seamlessly in Malayalam and took us to lesser known sightseeing places. He got things arranged pretty well. Vivin also offered us homegrown fruits and jackfruits, his mom Sophie aunty was super warm and kind to us. This is not a commercial luxurious resort, this is a proper house where you get to experience how locals live, first hand. Different experience, totally worth it. right from booking till check-out don and his parents were in touch and responsive.. special note .. it's situated on the bank of river .. person staying there should bath there, it was very fun .. children would love it.... highly recommended..
