We had a family of eight who stayed in this home our family loved the place so much. It was very comfortable clean and easily accessible to the city. Highly recommend this place if you are a group of eight or nine . they do have air conditioning on all the four bedrooms and the living room, which is impressive overall, we had a very good experience

Thank you for the wonderful stay . The accomodation was fabulous.The entire house was a fabulous construction. Hosts have maintained it very well .It could easily accommodate 12+ guests . Extremely neat and clean . Each and every room was spacious and attached bathroom were neat and clean . We thoroughly enjoyed the accomodation . Food provided was good . The hosts were extremely helpful . They guided us on route and how to reach. Thank you for the wonderful accommodation. Would definitely visit again

Overall it's a great place to stay if you are coming with your friends or family. The house has enough space for around 10 people. Thanks to Joby for letting us early check in and all the facilities were fabulous.

The Oval House was immaculate, especially the toilets. There were adequate supplies. The kitchen was well functioning. Mathew communicated promptly and swiftly. He was available whenever we needed and was accomodating for things like car park etc. We will definitely return to stay at the Oval House.

We had a truly memorable and peaceful stay at Shangarilla Cottage in Kodaikanal. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed warmly by the caretaker, Mr Dharampal. The property is beautifully maintained with lovely interiors and all necessary amenities. The lush in-house garden adds charm, and the view from the common area is absolutely stunning — with rolling hills, lush terrain, and clouds that often look like they’re hugging the hilltops. It’s a perfect place to feel connected to nature. While the food was average, it’s prepared and managed by locals who stay on the property, which gives it a homely touch. It’s simple, fresh, and convenient for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights of our stay was stargazing at night. With minimal light pollution, the night sky opens up into a canvas of stars — truly a magical and unforgettable experience. We were a group of 10 people, and each of us had a fantastic time. 🌻🙂

"This peaceful stay by the periyar river is what your life needs" The host, Shanta madam took care of us so well. The locality is peaceful and greenery all around soothes the mood. The rooms are spacious and clean. Shanta madam's Ash gourd curry reminded me of my grandmother's food. I am lucky to have met these wonderful people with so much simplicity, their faces qere always smiling and very much welcoming. i really liked how they stocked the fridge with essential supplies like milk, bread, butter and eggs. This house has everything you need for a praceful stay.

Our stay was incredibly peaceful, perfect for anyone looking to unwind. The property is located just a short walk from a private-like beach, Additionally, it’s only 400 meters from Marari main beach, making it convenient to explore.

Seascapes is a really peaceful spot for small gatherings. Had two rooms with full cooking amenities and everything was well-organized. The host and caretaker were extremely responsive. My friends thoroughly enjoyed their stay. The location appears to be precisely as shown. The entire house was clean, organized, and well-kept. We may relax on the beachfront in front of the house and watch the beautiful sunset. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice spot to unwind and spend time with friends.

Der Service von Jithu und seiner Familie welche uns im Haus bedient haben war öusserst zuvorkommend und sie waren stehts für uns da. sie waren äusserst aufmerksam und haben unmittelbar unsere bedürfnisse sowie wünsche umgesetzt. Das Haus war etwas abgelegen, die Gegend ist aber wunderschön und mit einem Fahrer sind umliegenden Sehenswürdigkeiten gut erreichbar. Der wunderschöne und gepflegte Garten war für uns die ideale Erholung. Sehr ruhige Nachbarschaft. Es war uns eine Freude an diesem Ort Beherbergt zu werden. Freundliche Grüsse Simon

Second time back and still absolutely lush. The place has such a calm, laid-back vibe – proper peaceful. You get cracking views of the sunrise and sunset, and if you’re anything like me and love just parking yourself outside with a cuppa, soaking up those stunning Kerala scenes, it’s spot on. Proper little getaway!

Had a wonderful and peaceful stay. Swimming pool which was open for 24 hours had complete privacy and the water was crystal clear. Delicious home cooked breakfast was served. Host was really helpful ensuring we had everything we needed😇❤️.

Wonderful place to stay; we enjoyed the pool and Saby who is the property manager on site was really helpful - he helped get us a takeaway dinner, some things for breakfast, taxis for our trip to the airport. The place was clean and bright but mainly it was in a great location and felt very safe and private. Would definitely stay again if I returned to Munnar.

We had a fantastic stay! The house was beautiful, in a great location, and perfect for a relaxing holiday. The host was very welcoming and provided excellent hospitality throughout our stay. The pool was a highlight—especially for the kids, who had an amazing time. One of the best holiday destinations we’ve been to. Everyone enjoyed it so much, and we’ll definitely be coming back again.

We had such a great time! We were seriously pampered by the staff and all of our needs were met. Two comments— first, the pictures in the listing are from when the resort was new, so there was definitely wear and tear we weren’t expecting, but everything was still clean and maintained. Secondly, two of the rooms had electricity issues while we were there— the staff dealt with the issues but it was a persistent problem for a few days. Otherwise our stay was great and we would recommend!

One of the highlights was the clean and kid-safe swimming pool, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. The caretakers were friendly and helpful—they even arranged boat rides for us, which added to the experience. Another standout was the food: every meal served was delicious and satisfying. Even the kids loved it! The rooms and bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. Overall, it was a great experience, and we’d definitely consider coming back.
