Beautiful stay nestled among tea plantations. You can watch the beautiful sunset on the way to the homestay. Great cozy stay, made even better by the wonderful food we had at the Airbnb itself. Lixon helped us out with all the local travel and recommendations and made for a great stay overall. Highly recommended!

I will definitely recommend this place, the view was amazing. Rooms were neat and clean, Host was very helpful when it comes to any sort of information or help.

What Sarah and Morden have built is very impressive and Sarah a brilliant cook. Clean lodge with wildlife surrounding - great bird (and monkey) watching. Just be aware location is very remote (as mentioned) and can get a bit cold at night. But hosts went above and beyond - giving us lifts and organising transport. Glad to be supporting all the work they do for stray dogs!

Manajaly Backwater Resort is a wonderful place to stay! It's VERY clean and quiet, and the view of the backwaters is stunning. Bird life abounds; so if, like me, you wish to be awakened by bird song, this is the place for you. Boat rides are easily available and provide glimpses of the wonderful scenery all around. There is an excellent taxi service available -- ask for either Nias or Ajmal. Both men are extremely knowledgeable about the area and will take good care of you. Praveen's assistant Chandra is a sweet, fantastic guy! He's very smart and efficient, and will provide you with everything you need. I had an excellent time. This is a place for people who want to get away from the crowds in Kochi and enjoy the flavor of local life. I wish Praveen every success! With all good wishes, Minakshi

The stay at Whispering Waters was amazing - away from hustle bustle of the city - surrounded by the nature’s beauty -cloudy forests with a waterfall view. This perfectly describe what Kodaikanal has to offer and getting it at a single place is a bliss. Accompanied by the hospitality from host and staff is truly amazing- very helpful, supportive, responsive and have a positive attitude to maintain the property and attend the guests. Thomas and his Family have created a beautiful, biodiverse and green getaway in the tea plantations and hills of vagamon region. We arrived by public ksrtc bus from kottayam and reached the stay within walking distance from the bus stop. Although one can hear in the distance honking busses filled with school kids blasting music through the serpentine roads, little flower farms is a perfect place if you want to get away for a few days. There’s plenty of shade to read a book on the premise and relax. We did two hikes that were recommended to us by Thomas and he was also very helpful in organizing transport to the starting point of the hikes. We slept in the “pod” on top of the premise, enjoying nice views. The only suggestion for improvement would be a new set of mattresses since especially one of them has seen better days :) Lastly, the food is very tasty and homely Kerala food, which is cooked with a lot of love by his attentive staff. Would definitely recommend staying here!

A stay here is not just a vacation, it’s a soulful experience, one that lingers in your heart long after you’ve left. If you’re seeking peace, beauty, and a touch of magic, this cottage in Kodaikanal is the place to be. Ramdev is an excellent host. Also don’t miss the cats ( Grumpy, Tina & Tom) They also provide excellent homely food. Overall a very beautiful cottage in the midst of pear orchard.

We had a pleasant stay at Ibex. The location of the property, away from the main road, was the highlight. The road and surroundings leading to Ibex was beautiful. There is a nice waterfall at walking distance from the property, which was again a highlight. The property in itself is very small, but our room was clean and well appointed with all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed the delicious food cooked by the chef, although the pricing for it was a tad high. Overall all, I would recommend this stay.

My stay at Dhyana Malai was pure bliss! The stone-walled room was snug, spotless, and perfectly equipped. Waking up to birdsong and sipping tea on the terrace, listening to the gurgling stream nearby when it rains, surrounded by breathtaking views of rolling hills and valleys, was pure magic. The home-cooked meals were mouthwatering and uniquely flavorful. Our hosts were warm and attentive, ensuring our every comfort. I'm already planning my return – can't wait to come back !

David's place is a unique mixture of nature and human creation. The place is quaint, filled with plants of various kinds, studded with sculptures and art that has been curated by his wife. The rooms themselves looked like a work of art. The open bathrooms were a whole other experience when combined with the rains. A short path, with water on both sides, leads you to a beautiful deck where you can relax and let the backwaters calm your soul. The small dip pools were perfect for even 10 of us to get into and relax in. A truly beautiful place, and a very friendly and helpful host. Our stay was amazing, and I have already returned to the property a second time soon after my first. Thanks to David for maintaining the place and for being a wholesome host.

The stay is rustic and raw and a beautiful way to experience off the grid living. The crew is friendly and warm and the homecooked meals are delicious. Lots of natural beauty , hikes and nature activities around the property. Thank you for the stay 🌸💗
