Vacation rentals with a pool in Idukki

This was my first visit to Kerala with my family, and I was searching for a friendly place to stay. I turned to Airbnb and, after a few searches, discovered a beautiful river-facing apartment hosted by Amruth. I booked it right away and had a chat with Amruth, who was incredibly helpful in suggesting places to visit. His excellent local knowledge of restaurants and attractions was a huge help. The apartment itself is conveniently located in Aluva, just 20-25 minutes from Kochi airport. It’s spacious, clean, and set in a stunning environment overlooking the river—truly a home away from home. On top of that, Amruth’s friendly demeanor and trustworthy recommendations made our stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone seeking a safe and peaceful accommodation for family or friends. Thank you once again, Amruth!

We booked this place to host a friend’s bridal shower, and it turned out to be the perfect choice! The property is beautifully maintained, with high-quality furniture and modern kitchen appliances that made everything feel super comfortable and convenient. The highlight for us was definitely the lawn — it’s stunning and very well-kept, making it ideal for small gatherings and celebrations. There’s also a small swimming pool that we didn’t end up using, but it looked clean and inviting. Overall, it’s a great private space to enjoy with good company, and absolutely worth the money. Highly recommend!

The place had such a cool and calming vibe. The property is very spacious and the pool is a really good highlight. All the amenities were provided as stated. From the moment I walked in, I felt super relaxed. Was really a peaceful experience. The staff was friendly but gave us space to enjoy, which was nice. Definitely a spot I’d love to come back to when I need to unwind.

We took a private pool cottage with two bedrooms for our family of 5 including two kids. The cottage was neat, private and the pool was the right size for the kids. The pool was also maintained well. The food was homely and tasty and was reasonable price. There was a small water fall and a stream inside the property. They are still developing the property and it would have been nice to have. a small hike in the property with pathways through the cardamom plantations. They gave coupons for us to the nearby vagamon heights adventure park which was also great and did some activities there Vipin , the caretaker was always available on phone. He was very pleasant and always ready to help with all our needs. A great place for a family vacation

Responsive and accommodating host, quite and secure living, family friendly place. The view from the balcony is wort mentioning. The place is very close to sops and restaurants all in a walkable distance.

We had the pleasure of staying with Deepu and his family whilst on our visit to kerala. From the minute we arrived Deepu and Christine made us feel so welcome and helped us so much . "The apartment was absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated. Our host went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. "Communication was seamless with the family . They invited us to meet friends and even go away to visit them on a trip we never would have experienced. I cannot put into words how special Deepu and Christine made our visit , Breakfast was absolutely beautiful and traditional I will certainly return. Thank you Deepu to you and your family and friends. I feel we arrived as guests but left as good friends . Highly recommend a visit to stay . I had an absolutely wonderful stay. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable. The room was spotless and offered a stunning view. The amenities were excellent — I especially appreciated the clean, well-maintained common areas and the quiet atmosphere. The overall environment was peaceful and relaxing, perfect for unwinding. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable, luxurious, and stress-free experience. We had an amazing time at this peaceful homestay. It was truly as described, surrounded by beautiful nature. We were well looked after by our caretakers Arun, Shinto and Ajith. This felt like a real added luxury. They catered to our every need, including organising a car and tour of Vagamon. Special thanks to Arun for sourcing some jackfruit for us and his mum for making a delicious jackfruit vegetable dish! Our 10-month old was gobbling it up straight from the serving bowl! The pool was inviting and refreshing, also naturally shaded by some trees which was perfect for the kids. Minor point but there was no high chair- these were surprisingly hard to come by generally during our travels in Kerala! There were also a fair few mosquitoes so would recommend good repellent, the homestay did provide a couple of plug in ones, but probably need more and some coils for outdoors as well. All in all a lovely stay and very memorable experience, thanks for hosting us.
