We had a great stay! The apartment is in a quiet and natural environment, is tastefully furnished and equipped with every comfort. Everything was sparkling clean and well cared for. The location is ideal: you are in Harlingen and Franeker in no time. Ympkje is an incredibly friendly and thoughtful host, who is always ready. We felt immediately welcome. Highly recommended! --- Please let me know if you would like to adjust anything in terms of tone or length.

Everything was perfect. The apartment is very spacious and extremely well equipped (including mixer, blender, Senseo, capsule - and filter coffee machines, lots of cutlery, dishes and glasses, washing machine and dryer, many multimedia options, board games), which we only partially used.

The apartment and courtyard fully corresponded to the information and published pictures. Very clean, tastefully and lovingly furnished, lots of little extras. Very quiet location, within walking distance to the center. Machteld welcomed us very nicely, is always approachable and has good tips for excursions, food, etc.

Perfect location. You are in the middle of the hustle and bustle and still have a small terrace at the back with absolute peace. Everything was well maintained. We were very enthusiastic and Ivar responded immediately to questions. Thank you

The only issue is that the ceiling in the upstairs loft is 190cm so if you're tall this cute cottage isn't probably ideal.

Beautiful cottage, renovated and clean. Everything you need in the house and extras. Good beds, made up on arrival. Beautiful canopy, beautiful surroundings and views. In addition, Anneriet always responds quickly. Thanks for the weekend!

Marius is an amazing host. The house is picky, so we can completely relax in the beautiful surroundings. The house is quiet place, yet in close walking distance a city's comforts. We've been here for others with our grandchildren who are now teenagers. They suggest it will be a tradition that we go on a trip to Medemblik. There was a bottle of champagne for us as a welcome. However, the biggest welcome was that it was so clean and cozy. You really feel welcomed and welcomed.

We felt very comfortable from the first moment. Communication and check-in worked out great. The house was sparkling clean and there was a little Easter surprise waiting for us. The house is very nicely decorated with very nice details. It's nicer than the pictures. It offered enough space for 2 adults and a teenager. We loved the bench in front of the house. We loved sitting in the sun with a coffee. The location is great. Just around the corner from the harbor, cafes, restaurants, bakery and supermarket are within walking distance.. A perfect starting point for excursions to the region. We really enjoyed our stay and will be happy to come back again.

We had an amazing stay at Sandra's house in Breezand. This spacious property was ideal for a group stay, providing a plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The location is fantastic, nestled in a peaceful village. The house itself was well-equipped with modern amenities, ensuring a comfortable stay.

We had a lovely 8 night stay in this cozy cottage by the canal. The bed was comfy, the place was peaceful, and Noortje was a kind host who even gave us fresh eggs from her chickens. There was some parking lot construction early on and occasional activity from the business next door, but nothing major. Just a heads-up: check-in and check-out were in person (not self-service), and there was a tourist tax to be paid in cash at the end, which wasn’t mentioned upfront in the listing. Overall, a great spot for a quiet getaway.

Probably the best AirBnB we‘ve been to in the Netherlands! Absolutely amazing renovated traditional house that felt cosy and right at home. We were 4 adults and one child (aged 8). The hosts were kind enough to set an extra bed for my daughter, which was very comfortable. Very well equipped kitchen. We didn’t miss anything. Very quiet and private location and beautiful surroundings. The garden is very peaceful and there is even a water channel at the back! We‘re absolutely looking forward to staying here again soon.

Nice house with a little garden in a beautiful and quiet place (a neighborhood/park full of little similar houses). Plenty of space, cosy... The only thing to notice is that unless we didn't understand the TV is only useable as a smart TV, there's no antenna. It was not an issue at all for us as we used our phones to cast content to it. The city is nice, the region is beautiful. We spent two weeks there and are missing it already.

We felt very comfortable with Sharon and Djurre from the beginning. They are particularly friendly and approachable hosts and are helpful in every way and open to questions. The apartment is fully equipped and very comfortable due to a generous interior design. Every morning, Sharon prepared a lavish and very varied breakfast that we very much enjoyed. The location of the apartment is very convenient: You can easily and quickly reach many interesting places and tourist attractions from here. In short, we can warmly recommend the place to everyone. Quietly located, bright, very clean apartment with a great view. The apartment is very spacious, which was ideal for the two of us with a toddler. Check-in was very straightforward and communication with Anja was very good from start to finish. There is ample parking in a private parking lot behind the house. Many nearby attractions are quickly accessible by car. On request, Anja provided us with a travel cot for a small surcharge. The only point that bothered us a little was that for an old, worn Ikea high chair (new price €15) a surcharge of €5 was also required.

We really loved it at Dick and Thildy's place. The two are very friendly, open and give great tips for the area. The apartment was beautifully decorated, you felt very comfortable - surrounded by flower fields and a rural idyll with 2 sweet cats, ducks & chickens. Despite the construction of the new accommodations, we did not feel disturbed - I am curious how they look then!! 🙏🏻 Definitely a great place to explore North Holland and experience the colorful flower fields!

We stayed at the apartment for a week with our children. The apartment corresponds exactly to the photos and descriptions. Everything was clean and cleanly equipped. You can see and hear the sea from the balcony. The bedrooms could be darkened superbly. Henk was always available and friendly. The apartment is located in a large residential building. Still, it was totally quiet and relaxing! The location is excellent. In a few minutes you can walk to the beach, in the city with a supermarket, no shops and restaurants. There is also a bicycle rental in the immediate vicinity. We liked it without exception and can recommend the apartment without reservation.

Perfect stay! The house is cozy, clean and well furnished, exactly as pictured. It's in a quiet area. The kitchen is fully equipped and allowed us to prepare meals as if we were at home. The host was kind and helpful, gave us great tips on what to visit and where to eat. Highly recommended, we'd love to come back!

A truly unique accommodation experience. Although the location is a bit far from the city center, it poses no obstacle for self-driving travelers. Situated within a yacht club, each unit comes with a small private pier offering beautiful views. The facilities are quite sufficient, making it an ideal spot for families to spend a few days.
