Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Guatemala

Casa colibrí was perfect for our family. It was exactly what we needed. Valeria was responsive to all of our questions. The house is located close to restaurants and a couple of blocks away from parque central. Our family walked to every place and when it rained we used the tuc tuc service. We hope to return again and stay at casa colibrí.

This is by far the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at. I’ve traveled to a lot of Airbnb’s in many different countries and none compare to this. Finding this place is surely an adventure but once you are there, you don’t want to leave! I can’t say enough good things about the chefs that will cook you every meal. We had them do all the shopping for our meals along with other items we wanted such as water and beer. The housekeeper services that help coordinate private boat rides to other villages, keeping the place clean, or even small things such as turning on the hot tub while we are away are truly incredible perks of this place. The property and views are just amazing and I can’t wait to come back here for my next stay!

Jean’s place on lake Atitlan is just beautiful. So green, and the birdsong in the morning is wonderful. Lovely views of the volcanos from the roof and down by the lake. We really enjoyed the paddle boarding and kayak. Even in the rainy season it was beautiful in the mornings and we hailed a lancha from jean’s dock, so very convenient. (Walkable or Tuktuk-able to San Marcos or tzununa). Just a lovely time and so nice to meet Jean and Joaquin who was very helpful!

The house is beautiful, everything is clean and tidy, Nestor is super attentive to everything, as is Benjamin, super accessible and friendly at all times, the view from the house is beautiful, it is a house that has everything to have a good time with family and friends.

Casa Blanca was absolutely stunning! The views were great, the house was pristine, and the staff were incredible. There was always someone there to help and they were always ready to respond to our messages and help. We can’t speak more highly of our time there. They gave us great recommendations, and helped us arrange rides to and from our dock.

The house is gorgeous and clean, Maria and Rudy are very kind and helpful and there are dogs and a cat that come visit who are very sweet and playful.

The house is very nice, very clean and tidy. The pool is very clean and is perfect for the weather because it is heated. Recommended!!

We had an unforgettable stay at this stunning home on Lake Atitlán. The views of the lake and volcanoes are truly breathtaking — photos can’t capture just how magical it feels in person. The house itself is beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable, and perfect for spending a relaxing week. The kitchen is well-stocked, which made it easy to cook and enjoy meals at home. It is a bit of a hike up to the house, but Ventura (the house manager), his son Randy, and Captain Martín made our arrival and departure seamless. In my opinion, as long as you’re physically able to walk up to the house on your own — about a five-minute uphill hike after taking a tuctuc as far as the street will take you — you’ll be totally fine. They provided plenty of help with bags and anything else we needed both on the way in and out, so it wasn’t an issue for us at all. Restaurants and stores in town close early, so good to keep some food and snacks in the house. Once you arrive you won’t want to leave!

The accommodation is exactly as shown in the photos, a very nice, quiet and safe area, Byron was available to answer any questions, he is very friendly and helpful. In general, an excellent place, I recommend it.

The place is very nice and the building staff are very helpful, not a hostel but they still helped me get to my next stop in Antigua. The location of the apartment is very nice, walking distance to a lot of places but traffic in Guatemala city can be a little scary for anyone on foot. There is a nice shopping center and some restaurants nearby, the pharmacia and grocery in the lower level was great. The resteraunt San Martin is a wonderful spot for breakfast. Construction in the area is a little crazy right now but time will sort that out.

We had a lovely stay here, the area is peaceful but very walkable to all parts of Antigua. As other Airbnb reviews have noted the bathroom, kitchen and utility area were private, but detached from the main sleeping area. This was no problem for us but something worth considering if you are visiting during the rainy season where you may need to dash out. It’s mostly under cover and only a few steps. Kendra was a lovely host who gave us complete privacy even though the Airbnb is next to the main home. She was also super responsive over What s app and really friendly!

Great place! I stay here every time I visit Antigua if I can. It is safe and centrally located next to one of the most popular tourist attractions in Antigua. Gilda is very helpful and responsive. The decor is very welcoming, with lots of Guatemalan artisanal handcrafts. It's a spacious apartment, with a living room, dining room, kitchen, bedroom, two bathrooms, laundry and front and rear balconies. There's a washer and dryer, which is very convenient and not typical. For me, the main disadvantage is that the doorways are a bit low. I'm 6'2". Usually I remember to duck, but I tend to bump my head about once a week during my stays here. The windows do a very good job of blocking sound, but it's a popular, busy street and if you're sensitive to noise, it could be a problem. (But the noise doesn't bother me.) Sleeping accommodations are limited -- two people could sleep in the big bed in the bedroom and one could sleep on the single bed in the living room.

Our stay in the apartment was quite comfortable. The view from the window is great. Everything you need is there. Communicating with the hosts was easy.

Sarah’s place was in an amazing location in Pana! A short walk away to literally everything, the best grocery store, shops, cafes, restaurants, and the docks. Her place feels extremely safe with a locking main entrance door to the complex after the cafe below closes at night. We felt so lucky to have this modern, clean, and comfy studio space in a modern and well-maintained complex to return to after so many adventures out exploring this incredible area. We worked remotely from here and the WiFi was very reliable other than when the entire town lost power for 4 hours during a storm. It was fun to watch the world go by from the window seats…we caught a few parades from there! We were so grateful to have air conditioning here as we visited when it was quite warm. There were a few nights where you felt like the live band nearby was literally inside the complex, but we were warned in advance and it was only on weekends. All in all, great place to stay in Pana!
