Beautiful, peaceful oasis with a wonderful view and incredibly kind hosts. Thilda has created a sanctuary overlooking the lake, with all the needs for simple living well met. So lovely to relax among the trees, flowers, birds, and butterflies. Both Thilda and Pedro are very sweet, caring and considerate — they truly made sure I had anything I needed. The room feels larger than it appears in the photos, although it is the smaller (and darker, when the door is closed) of the guest rooms. I found it comfortable for one person, but I think it would be very tight with two. The room’s windows open directly on to walkway from the other room, and the door opens onto the garden area, shared outdoor shower, basin, and toilet (it’s helpful to know that sound does travel!) However it is away from the noise of tuk tuks and most of the village dogs, so almost all you hear are birds, crickets, and the lanchas on the lake. It’s a really special, serene retreat, and I highly recommend staying here.

Azucena and Jose were extremely accommodating with all our last minute changes. Her house was clean and inviting, the room was just as described. The location was close enough to be in Antigua in a flash and far enough to be away from the crowds​. They helped us with tips as what to see, they also dropped us off and picked us up from Antigua to avoid parking (Eastern Friday) and traffic woes. Her breakfasts were delicious, her dinners were also delicious and well priced. She did our our laundry for a fair price. All in all, we will come back here next time we visit the area.

I would recommend to stay at this air bnb to anyone visiting antigua. it’s a lovely room looking out onto a beautiful garden. You can even see the volcano on a clear day. The bed was comfortable and room was very clean. In a great location near lots of restaurants but just outside centre so not too noisy. I’d definitely stay again if i got the chance :)

I stayed here at Thilda's place for about a month and had a very nice time. The property is very pretty and quiet, with a beautiful garden and a terrace with a great view of the lake. The apartment is basic but has everything you need for a comfortable stay. I was working remotely here, and I was able to do video calling and download files. Streaming movies and sports worked OK as well. Because the house uses limited solar power, there is no refrigerator or other appliances like a blender. There is a cold box in the garden which seemed to keep things fresh slightly longer, but don't expect it to work like a fridge. The bathroom is shared with the other room here, which has a little less privacy than the room I stayed in. Thilda's property is a great place to stay for a short or long time. She and Pedro were very welcoming. You can enjoy the beauty of the lake while relaxing in one of the prettiest and quietest towns in the area.

A lovely place to stay while in Antigua!! Mariane went above and beyond to help with anything we needed and stored our bags for us while we were hiking Pacaya. Highly recommend!

Everything excellent, very nice place, aseado, tidy, silent. Super friendly and friendly. Although this one on the main street inside the lodging is quiet and they answer super fast.

Perfect place to sleep. I slept soundly and the bed was very comfortable. Easy walk to Central Park and plenty of food surrounding home. The outdoor kitchen and patio and views were wonderful. They were kind enough to let me come early and leave my bags for the morning while I enjoyed the Holy Sunday procession. Definitely recommend!

Lily’s place was so cozy and so beautiful. It is within walkable distance of everything you need. It is super clean. Everything looked very organized and professional. Even though there was planned power outage, she provided us with power device. She accommodated us with everything. I definitely recommend everyone to stay in her place.

Super lovely hostel with everything you need if you like to spend most of your time exploring the town. The shared bathrooms were surprisingly nice and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you’d need to cook for yourself.

A suitable space for a small group. It has the basics. Ask in advance if they have what they're looking for

We had a great stay, the host was very warm, kind and welcoming. The place is very nice and comfortable, it has everything we needed. We recommend it and we'll sure stay again when we come back to Guatemala.

Me and my family stayed there 3 days 2 nights. Very clean, peaceful and comfortable apartment. We had a good time here. Parking was not a problem, we parked right in front of the apartment. Easy access.
