Vacation home rentals in Guanacaste Province

We were a group of 20 comprised of 4 families with children ranging from 5 to 25 years old. This was a perfect place for us to relax and enjoy the house and walks to town and the beach. We really had an amazing time and were very happy with the house, rooms and all of the accommodations. The kids couldn’t get enough of the slide. The outdoor kitchen was amazing and fit all of our needs. We cooked most of our own meals. We are definitely considering making this an annual family trip! Thanks to Jess and her staff for welcoming us to their beautiful property and home.

The house & location are amazing, you literally feel like you have your own beach in the middle of paradise, but also all of the conveniences you need like a variety restaurants, grocery store, convenience stores and even a hardware store are only less than a 5 minute drive away. The baby turtle sanctuary is only a 5 minute drive away and we got to see one of my bucket lists, we got to release baby turtles and watch them waddle their way to the ocean! The whole house had a water filter and reverse osmosis water so we were able to have safe and wonderful drinking water the entire trip and saved loads of money just refilling our water w/ regular cheap water bottles that we bought day one some of us brought our Yeti/Stanley cups. The pool is a perfect dip pool for when you get hot, and at low tide, which is everyday. The smooth sandy beach is a dream! We looked at tons of other beachfront properties but this was the only one that actually had a sandy swimmable beach! House is perfect!

I really enjoyed an extended stay (over a month) at the Coco Sunset Hills property being managed by Tropical Gardens. This staff is the happiest and friendliest ever. The property was all that is was advertised to be. Many different and beautiful pools to swim in on very well landscaped and maintained grounds. The property itself was wonderful (2 floor, 2 bedroom) with all modern conveniences, great A/C, room fans, and weekly cleaning services! I have told my friends about this place and will also be back.

We loved this Airbnb! It was the perfect end for our trip. Would definitely stay here for an entire trip! The beach close by, the terrace, the pools, and gated community were awesome and made our Costa Rica trip better. The host was great when we couldn’t find the office space to check in due to construction, but she came all the way out to the street to help us! Friendly staff!

Thank you Paul for all the support you gave to us in planning our stay in Ocotal/Coco area. We really enjoyed our stay. The unit was clean and comfy for the two of us and definitely could work great for a family of four.We are big walkers so we made our way to the beaches by foot. Coco was about 30 minute walk, Ocotal was more like a 15 minute walk and playa Gringo was a tenuous hike as i was in crocs but worth the view. Proper hiking sandals needed for that one. We enjoyed "monkey TV" most nights from the balcony. While eating dinners outdoors we watched the howlers up in the trees. Swinging, sitting, howling, climbing etc. What a great setting. Pool area is picturesque~only used it once as we went to the beach. Kitchen well appointed, furniture comfy and the unit was clean. We just had a little trouble finding the place but had help from the security fellow as well as a call to Paul who was awesome to direct the taxi driver Evilio. Thanks ever so much for the great stay!

Our stay at **Carlos' house** was absolutely perfect. He was incredibly **responsive and helpful**, ensuring we had everything we needed. We even received an **extra cleaning after two days** and **free laundry service**, which was a wonderful bonus. The location is fantastic—just a few minutes from the beach. I would **highly recommend** this place to anyone looking for a great stay!

Un lugar tranquilo para alejarse de la vida ajetreada de la cuidad, comodidades en el hospedaje, eso si es para viajar con vehículos, transporte publico no lo recomiendo, la zona de pinilla se preta para hacer ciclismo, trail, motocross o cuadraciclos, las playas están relativamente cerca

Martha ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Unterkunft ist großzügig und sehr ordentlich und sauber. Der Bungalow ist ziemlich neu und das Gelände inklusive Terrasse ist schon angelegt. Ein Stellplatz direkt vor der Unterkunft im eingezäunten Gesamtgelände steht zur Verfügung. Die Unterkunft liegt etwas tiefer im kleinen Dorf ind ist über eine Schotterstraße zu erreichen. Es ist eine reine Wohngegend, sehr ländlich. Daher ist an Unternehmungen und Restaurants in direkter Umgebung wenig geboten, jedoch isr es sehr ruhig, tagsüber wie nachts. Wir waren zu zweit als Zwischenstopp für eine Nacht dort, auf der Durchreise nach Nicaragua. Aber aus unserer Sicht ist die Unterkunft in Kombination mit einem Mietwagen für mehrere Tage und Unternehmungen und Ausflüge in der Region bestens geeignet. Wir können die Unterkunft bei Martha weiterempfehlen.

This villa was beautiful and spacious with gorgeous views. Coltin and Beto were incredibly helpful with everything we needed and we felt right at home.

Eduardo’s place is nothing short of spectacular! His team was helpful in providing local recommendations although staying in the home would’ve been a great vacation by itself. The Resort community it’s in, is huge. Just getting outside the gate is a 15 minute drive. This makes for the town to be about 30 minutes away. We loved our stay, thank you!

Overall, the stay was excellent and well worth the price. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and there’s a mini fridge that’s more than enough for storing the basics. There are two beds, both comfortable enough for a good night’s rest, and the hot water in the shower worked perfectly. The location is also convenient—while not exactly walkable to the center of Monteverde, it’s just a 5 to 10-minute drive, so getting around was easy. The host was very kind, and the views from the balcony, especially during sunset, were absolutely stunning. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and well-equipped place near town.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was spacious, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable for our family of four. It had everything we needed, and the large swimming pool was a real highlight. The location felt safe and private — perfect for relaxing — but having a car is definitely necessary, as it’s about 20 minutes from central Tamarindo. Our host was helpful and responsive. Highly recommend!

Un lugar muy bonito con una ubicación inmemorable; muy cerca de las mejores playas de la zona como Cabuyal, Nacascolo, Virador, etc. Nuestra estadía en "Quedare aquí" fue un 10/10. Un sitio muy acogedor y cómodo, pero lo que hizo la experiencia aún más especial, fue la hospitalidad de Roberto y Luis. Son unos excelentes anfitriones, que siempre estuvieron muy atentos y muy anuentes a ayudaron con todo.

this is a great place to stay with family or a group. The house is quiet, even with guests in the unit above. The caretaker (not Carole) is fantastic, super helpful and friendly, and always responsive.

This is a wonderful place to stay if visiting Nuevo Arenal. Very good location and beautiful view of the sunset from the living room. The friendly dogs added an extra treat to the location for us. One note, as navigation apps in Costa Rica are tricky, follow their instructions carefully and download the picture of the gate leading up to the house before you leave reliable cell coverage.

I don’t know where to start! Zaca was so wonderful with communication and preparing for our arrival! When we arrived, he had turned on some lights and left gifts for us in the home—beyond thoughtful! The tiny home had everything we could possibly need. The floor plan is well thought out. The deck provided great outdoor space and we really enjoyed sitting there at night, relaxing. Birds sang and some visited. We walked around the property some. It is surrounded with trees and plants. We found some berries and, after checking with Zaca, were able to enjoy a few! The location is perfect-down the road from so many places to check out! I can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay!
