Places to stay in Gothic Quarter, Ciutat Vella

We really enjoyed our stay at Victoria/Paula’s house. It was located in very friendly area with restaurants and transportation near by, it was very easy to walk to grocery stores and cafes near by and had a great time in Barcelona!

This place is a gem!! Not only were the accommodations clean, comfortable, and as described, Yolanda is a hostess who goes above and beyond to make her guests feel welcome and right at home. She provided so many extras, including a homemade chocolate cake and some delicious little orange fruits from the backyard orchard that we had never even seen before. Delicious!! She was quick to answer all our questions and even arranged a taxi to the airport for us. The house is located in Zone 1 of Barcelona’s public transportation system and is easy to get to. It took around 20 minutes to get to the main metro hub with all the connecting lines in downtown Barcelona. (We got the visitor Hola Travel card and never had any problems.) We’d definitely stay here again!

This place had everything we could’ve needed and was very spacious! Loved the pool and the transportation to the city centre was very easy! Mari was great and gave us so many good recommendations. I definitely recommend to everyone!

The location was great! And the host was very responsive and gave detailed instructions.

Amazing place to stay at. Was close to everything within the city of Barcelona. Beach was right down the street. Food and shops were beyond expectations and core memories were created. Mo was always responsive and helpful in every way possible. Couldn’t say enough how amazing it was to stay here and the experiences were beyond words.

Anna was an incredible host - very responsive and attentive. Her place is beautiful and the pool is hard to beat. Gracia is a wonderful neighborhood, quiet, homey but also lively and vibrant. We have 2 kids and would highly recommend this place.

Jepis was a great host and the property is exactly as the listing states. We were pleasantly surprised by the surrounding area too - very accessible and amazing food options nearby. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing break!

Marta’s apartment was magical! We spent many days and night on the terrace, a beautiful breeze blowing, birds flying around, and at night we could hear the joy of the city. We could see a sliver of the Mediterranean from the rooftop. The place was so clean, lots of great restaurants and bars nearby, and the space was comfy and roomy. We found a great local restaurant named Lolea … we ate there 3 times and the ceviche was the best we’ve ever had. Her place is centrally located and we enjoyed Barcelona immensely!!

What a perfect place to spend a week in Barcelona! The location was awesome, great part of the city, fantastic restaurants and shopping, close to the University where our daughter is studying. The flat was cozy and chic! The bed was divine, made us realize we need a new bed, it was so comfortable! I personally love and always choose places high in the rooftops so I can look at the city and activity below. So, know there are stairs, but they are worth the climb to this lovely space to nestle in while you rest from exploring the beautiful Barcelona! Javier was super responsive and helpful and kind. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Really nice a spacious apartment. Updated and well furnished. Could be considered a tad noisy from daytime street noise by those who are sensitive but that’s the price for the great location. It was quiet over night.

Really a beautiful flat to stay in! Patio with the view of la sagrada familia is stunning. Nicely shaded so really lovely to be out there even in the afternoon. Kitchen was quite simple, no hot pads, very minimal cooking equipment. Location close to transit to easily get around the city. Lots of food options nearby. The flat was quiet. AC worked great.

Really enjoyed our stay in the city. The flat was in a great location and provided easy walking access to many places. Everything worked well although in Barcelona you’re never far from food or drinks in so many great places.

Nice, spacious apartment with everything needed for a long stay, but unfortunately it is in a bad neighborhood, which isn’t obvious until you get there. With that considered, this is an expensive place to stay.

This was our second stay at Gorka's place and it was, yet again, perfection. The location can't be beat and the apartment itself feels just like home. Can't wait to return.

Lovely place! The apartment looks exactly like the pictures and it’s in a greet location, right beside the subway and with good restaurants and supermarkets close by. Check-in was easy and Angel gave us really good restaurant recommendations and were helpful with everything we needed.
