Vacation rentals with beach access in Gothic Quarter, Ciutat Vella

I went with my wife for the first time to Barcelona and Mik welcomed us kindly, she was always very willing to help us in whatever was necessary. We were very happy with him. It gave us a lot of recommendations about bars, restaurants, etc. if we had any questions, always answered us very punctually. She welcomed us with a detail like a bottle of gift wine and some cookies. The place is very quiet, safe, very tidy, spacious and clean just as seen in the photos. Very easy access to the metro, tram (few stations have the Sagrada Familia) and the diagonal shopping of the sea (you can walk this 3/4 blocks away) also have Mercadona nearby and other supermarkets. Great and clean apartment! Everything you need. There were three couples and one toddler. We received a warm welcome at check-in. Nearby there are many restaurants, cafes, the beach and the metro station, all within walking distance. It was totally quiet at night.

The apartment is great if you want to spend a few days in Barcelona, with the beach and nightclubs at the Olympic port nearby. It is very quiet, bright, crossing, on the top floor (with elevator), comfortable with these two bathrooms (with two toilets). Very convenient also, the possibility of renting (extra) a parking space in the basement with direct access by the elevator. Very nice welcome and communication!

Public transport can be reached in 2 minutes, the huge supermarket in 3 minutes. Guillermo always responded immediately and very helpfully to questions. We’d like to extend a big thank you to Carmen and Alex for being such amazing hosts. They truly went above and beyond to answer our questions and ensure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. The apartment itself was beautifully decorated (we loved the seaside theme!), very clean, and incredibly comfortable—a perfect place to relax. The views of the marina and beach were stunning. We’d absolutely recommend this place to families or groups of friends. Everything you could need was provided, from a dishwasher and a cute little laundry room to a handy coffee machine. We’d love to come back—10/10!😊

The place is great. Very central area with all kinds of places around. The house itself is in a very quiet area and with intimacy. Easy parking. The house is great, everything is very clean and as shown in the photos. I'll definitely repeat.

The host stayed in touch with us from the moment of booking, was very responsive and then met us by the door and showed the apartment and all the amenities. We loved the place, it had all the necessities. The apartment has a beautiful terrace that could have more use during warmer months of the year. The only downside is laundry being a separate service for this Airbnb. Also the access to apartment requires walking the stairs which might be a struggle for people with mobility issues. Other than that the place was great. The location is amazing, multiple supermarkets can be found nearby, lots of cafes and easy public transport access. The checkout was also very smooth and easy!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Miguel and Joana are lovely people and their home was perfect. We had a few questions about our surroundings and our messages we received and returned very quickly. We had a very early flight the morning we left and Miguel even helped secure a pre order taxi for us. My wife and I met one of our closest friends in Barcelona and taxied to Badalona (a much easier process than I had expected). We were met at at the home by Miguel and Jonah and they gave us a personal tour. The house was perfect for us as it had lots of space for us and was exactly as advertised. The house itself was very clean and we could not get enough of the amazingly designed kitchen/ dining room with huge sliding doors that opened up to an outdoor space that was perfect for all times of day.. The location of this home was one of our favorite things about our trip. There are so many little markets and shops all around in pretty much any direction and the beaches are incredible. 😀

Rolf's and Mok's place is amazing. It is a 30 min drive from BCN, but you will stay in a calm, peaceful, and rural home in a lovely village. The house is spacious, modern, and has all facilities you need. There are some farm animals around, and a kind and sweet dog who occasionally drops by to say hello. We will definitely come back!

We had a great time at Trude and Miguel's. They are very welcoming, considerate, available and have great tips. The accommodation is very well equipped, quiet. We were able to taste the wood-fired paella and some of Miguel's tapas on the last night... a wonderful memory for our taste buds. If we return to Barcelona it is certain that we will book this gem away from the crowd.

It was a pleasure to stay at Katherine´s place! It is better than in the photos, functional, relaxing, fun and a place that we would be happy to call home. Katherine is an outstanding host (take it from someone who is also a host at Airbnb), thoughtful, caring and always proactive. It is a great location, so easy to get to barcelona but at the same time far enough and so close to the beach that it seems you are living in a summer resort area. We love it everything about it and when we come back to BCN we would like to repeat! (please!!). Muchísimas gracias!!

We had an amazing experience staying at Manel and Jordi’s place in Barcelona! The place truly felt like home, with a fully equipped kitchen that had everything we needed for a family of 3. The location was perfect - the beach and many attractions were within walking distance, and there were plenty of good restaurants nearby. Manel and Jordi were fabulous hosts who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Barcelona. We will definitely be staying here again on my next visit!

Great location, pristine apartment.

Mariona was friendly and great from the start. Her place was perfect for us as a family of three with a small baby and she even provided a baby chair and bath for us which was greatly appreciated! Will definitely book again when in Barcelona!!

Our family of four had a wonderful stay at Luis’ place. Perfectly located close to plenty of cafes and restaurants, Avenue Diagonal for a variety of shopping options, and within walking distance of some local attractions. The accommodation is spacious, well maintained and had all the essentials needed for our stay. Luis is a gracious host and was there to receive us, and ensured we had what we needed for our stay. We would gladly stay here again if we visited Barcelona!
