Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Gothic Quarter, Ciutat Vella

We had a fantastic stay at Oscar’s. It’s a beautiful apt on a treelined street in a turn of the century building. The terrace faces a charming courtyard and you are greeted with singing birds and friendly neighbors in the morning! Both Oscar and Jose Luis are extremely responsive with any questions. The apt is in the charming area of L’Eixample, a 7 min walk from Pl Catalunya which is AeroBus terminal and luggage locker (if you need to deposit luggage). 15 min walk to Casa Mila, two blocks away from Arc de Triomf and the gorgeous Palau de la Musica Catalona. The amazing La Boqueria market is also within 15 min walking distance. We would love for people to experience Oscar’s apt and everything it has to offer! We had a beautiful and memorable stay!

We had practically everything we needed at Rosa Ana's place. Josep welcomed us personally and showed us around. The place was clean and quiet. Beds were comfortable. A bit small apartment, but we needed it just to spend the nights anyway, so it didn't bother us. Even though a bit far from the city's main attractions, public transport was quite convenient. Recommended.

Excellent location, easy to get to the attractions. Very spacious double floor apartment can easily hold 6 people. With 3 toilets it makes morning rush so much easier than otherwise.

We had a wonderful stay at Brummels Apartment. It’s central but still quiet and not too touristy. The kitchen had everything we could have asked for and the beds were extremely comfortable! We would love to come back! Oh and the sauna was perfect to end a long day in the city. Thank you :)

Our stay was perfect in every way, a home from home, everything was in walking distance i.e. supermarkets , playing areas for kids, a great selection of cafe/bars and restaurants a shopping mall 15 minute walk. The accommodation was great with three large bedrooms and an amazing terrace / barbecue area , all in all Jessica is a first class host and if available we will be back. Super nice , modern, clean and complete apartment close to the city center. Metro at 150m. Shops and restaurants nearby. Also very nice that we were allowed to leave the luggage at Jadisa's on the last day. Definitely recommended!

This is the best place I have visited. The host, Xenia!, was as considerate as possible for me and my son to make our trip comfortable. The accommodation is on the 3rd floor, but they helped us move our luggage and took us to Castelldefels station because it rained when we left. They were really kind and accommodating, so I was able to sleep comfortably after a fortnight. It's a 20-minute walk to the center of Barcelona and a 30-minute train ride to get there, and when you're tired of your trip to the city, you can stay like you're on a vacation at Castelldefels Beach, which is within 10 minutes. Everything is perfect, so I want to give it more than 10 out of 10. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling to Barcelona. It is a place where you can fully heal and go in a good accommodation with the best host. Xenia! Thank you. I will never forget it.🥰

Susan took great care and often asked if everything was okay. Check-in and check-out was easy. The apartment has a breathtaking location just above the rocks and it is not far to the harbor and beach. Bakery and Carrefour for everyday needs in the village. We used the train to Barcelona, which was simple and inexpensive. The apartment was perfectly equipped, kitchen equipped with everything you might need. The pool in the complex was very clean. Sitges is a great destination, highly recommend.

Lorena and Pedro were very friendly and communicated well with us. The apartment was in a great location and was fairly spacious for all 5 guests. We were all very happy with our stay overall, however we were a bit disappointed that there only seemed to ever be enough hot water for one hot shower in the morning, the iron didn’t work properly and the beds weren’t very comfortable.

Great apartment to have for a few days. Clean apartment with good facilities and nice to have a pool to relax by. Close connection to local public transport. Easy to visit other towns and get into the centre of Barcelona. Hosts were very accommodating and friendly!

Conveniently located apartment. Close to train station, 5 min walk and beach. It is very functional, very well equipped. Microwave oven, dishwasher fridge etc... It has a small terrace. There is a communal pool that we did not use as we were coming for 3 days to visit Barcelona. The building is quiet. Communication with our host was very easy despite the language barrier. We recommend 200%!!!!

Very well arranged accommodation with all comforts, Ideally located. The nearby park is ideal for a stay with child and dog. Finally, Sylvia is very helpful and has good advice. We will return if we return to Barcelona.

A perfect experience, fully recommended! We spent a few wonderful days in this house and we couldn't be more satisfied. From the first moment, communication with the host was great: friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with what we needed. The house is just as you can see in the photos (or even better!). Clean, cozy, well equipped and with all the details designed to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. We felt right at home from day one. The location is also ideal: quiet but well connected, perfect for relaxing and exploring the surrounding area. Thank you for making us feel so comfortable. We would definitely come back, and recommend this house to anyone thinking about coming. Don't think about it!

Trude, Miguel and their dog Maya are very welcoming. We received good advice during our visit. The garden is great and the studio is very well-equipped. An address to recommend!

I travel a lot and stay in a lot of places round the world. But Xavier’s place is definitely one of the best I and my family stayed at. The photos are brilliant, but the actual home is A+ and every time I’m in Barcelona, I will definitely go back there. For families, it’s just amazing! It’s hard to write a review for what the experience actually is…….just go see for yourself. ❤️

Ricardo's place is as described. The accommodation is very well equipped, special mention to the heated pool (ideal in spring), the arcade terminal, foosball and billiards! A treat for young and old! The environment is very quiet and has great views of the surrounding vines and landscapes. It's easy to get to Barcelona by road or train. Ricardo and his wife are extremely kind, available. We would definitely recommend Ricardo's place.
