Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Gothic Quarter, Ciutat Vella

Spent 4 great nights here. Loved the location. Close to everything. Great cafe downstairs and several other shops in the same block. Excellent for public transport to take you anywhere in the city. Plenty of taxis to hail, outside the front door. We loved the terrace and ate here often. A couple of things to note, the bedrooms are very small and the bathroom is off the main bedroom, so really not suitable for 2 couples. There are a few stairs to get into the kitchen and the terrace, so may be an issue if there are mobility issues. The aircon in each room was fantastic. Finn's communication was excellent and we had a warm welcome from the on-site ladies. Would definitely stay here again.

Great accommodation, was met by Carmen upon arrival who was very friendly and had lots of great recommendations. The accommodation was nice and spacious with everything you need. Would recommend.

Great Air BnB for a short term stay, we found the apartment easily thanks to the helpful instructions provided and the check in was informative and helpful. The apartment was clean and all amenities / recourses were just what we needed. There is a restaurant opposite that can provide some noise as the owners stand outside chatting but it was never anything that massively disturbed our sleep. There is also a dog that barks quite a bit from a neighbouring balcony so I would say if you are in the main bedroom (the front facing bedroom) you might want to take into account that it can be somewhat noisy, again nothing that massively impacted us but good to note! The hosts were super lovely and checked in with us before and during our stay to make sure we were happy and comfortable. It’s super close to the L4 metro line and a walkable distance to the Sagrada Família. There is also a bus route to take you to places like Park Güell. Overall we had a lovely stay and would recommend!

Veronica was extremely pleasant and responsive, while checking in to make sure we were all okay in Barcelona. The apartment itself is amazing, with all amenities you will need for a holiday with a toddler. We were so thankful for the extra toys that Veronica thought of for the child too! The location is conveniently located near metro, bus stations, supermarkets, local markets and amazing tapas bars. We will stay here in a heartbeat when we are back in Barcelona!

As two families with teenagers we found the apartment to be a great alternative to a hotel. Everyone had their own space and the transport links meant we had access to all places of interest. We enjoyed the quieter location and tended to eat out in the busier parts of the city, though we did eat nearby on one evening. There are mini supermarkets nearby too for breakfast things/essentials. Marco was helpful during our check in, and kindly organised our taxi to the airport . Thank you!

Charming apartment in a good area with everything you need. Minerva left clear instructions, after reading which all questions about the housing disappeared by themselves. The kitchen had everything for cooking, all the equipment worked perfectly, there were places to work at the computer and a magnificent balcony. The fourth floor is actually the sixth and in the old building there is no elevator, so the apartment may not be suitable for people with disabilities.

Really nice apartment close to the beach in a relaxed area. Very spacious and accommodating with 5 people. Very responsive host with flexible check in times, great time overall 🙌

We loved staying at Tony’s place! Tony is a wonderful host, so responsive, extremely kind, and the place was absolutely perfect! Even better than the pictures! I never wanted to leave. I can only hope we will be back to spend more time at this beautiful home.

Xu's house is in a very convenient location with public transport (both subway and bus). There is a well-stocked supermarket and a playground in front. The photos reflect the reality of the house. For Barcelona, it's a good value.

A wonderful house, we loved the accommodation, comfortable, large and beautiful house, it has spectacular views of the entire valley. David was very close and friendly and attentive at all times, he let us leave late on the last day to take advantage of the stay. You feel right at home. We had such a wonderful time here, a beautiful private terrace and so peaceful yet right in the middle of the city, one of the best equipped places we’ve ever stayed too, with lots of info also provided on the nearby area, and Jaume was a very kind generous and friendly host. The best place we have stayed in the city over the years we’ve visited, and we immediately booked to return on our next visit!

Me and my friends were looking for a stay in Barcelona when we came across this and it did not disappoint one bit. Monica is a lovely host which is pro active and cooperative make sure she know what time we are getting there and leaving to meet us and show us around. We knew if we had any problems or if we needed anything she was only one message away. The house is in the lovely and tranquil area of alella which has restaurants and shops walking distance away from the house and the neighborhood was friendly. The house was clean and looked exactly like the photos, the view from the balconies were unreal and being able to jump into the pool when the Barcelona sun was shining was also amazing. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a chill and relaxing stay in Spain, you will not regret it. Hopefully we will be back one day, it was a pleasure :)

As described, the house is a bit off the beaten path, about a 30-minute walk from the train station. Alex picked us up and also took us back to the train several times or picked us up on the way back in the evening. The other times we ordered a taxi. Since the situation was known beforehand, that was not a problem. The kitchen is well equipped and the house is very pleasant. We felt absolutely comfortable and would come back any time.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful location with a huge patio to enjoy. Central and walking distance to cafes, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. great communication. The only suggestion I would make is to have some fans in the rooms as it could get hot if you don't leave all the bedroom doors open at night. The internet does not work in the back 2 rooms at the front of the house due to distance from the modem. Other than that we enjoyed our stay in Barcelona and love what Barcelona had to offer!

This was the perfect place to stay! Close to Barcelona via public transport, and close to the beach and shops in Montgat. The place was exactly as described, very clean, and the host was very helpful. We did have a small issue upon checkout as the keys could not be located, however this was resolved relatively quickly and Fernando apologised for the miscommunication. Overall a lovely stay and would definitely go back!

great apartment in the heart of Eixample. it was our respite from the heat and busy of the city. very responsive host.

Enzo went above and beyond for me. He’s very responsive when I asked any questions. He was not available when we checked in, but sent someone else to assist with check in. That person did not speak much English (and my Spanish/Catalan is not good either) but Enzo called during that time to explain the rules and to assist with check in by phone. The location has a beautiful view of La Sagrada Familia from the balcony, which looked very nice with the full moon. The rooms are smaller than appears in pictures but do match the descriptions and I found the bed comfortable. Also, Enzo goes above and beyond for his guests. I had an issue with a medication prescription, and he was extremely helpful, patient and flexible in helping me out, and made sure I got it sorted out. Amazing host!

My 5 day stay in Barcelona could not have been better and this is largely due to this beautiful Air B&B. The views are amazing! Sitting out on the patio for sunrises and sunsets was a daily joy. It is easy to get everywhere from Martin’s place and it is relatively quiet. Both Martin’s were very responsive and kind. I would most definitely stay here again.

We liked this place a lot. It's very nice and it's very good. When we arrived the air was on and everything was very tidy. Guillermo was very friendly at all times.

Silvia was a brilliant host, she was very responsive to messages and helped us find the place. She was very understanding when our flight was delayed and allowed us to check in late. We found the appartment even bigger than the photos. The neighbourhood and apartment building was very nice and felt very safe, and the metro and buses were very useful for getting around. 10/10!

This apartment is lovely! Exactly like the pictures. The train to Barcelona is a 5 minute walk and 30 minute ride and couldn’t be easier to use. The shower in the apartment was really good along with all the kitchen and it was stocked with all the small things like salt/oil, pots/pans. The pool was great and the beach is basically on your doorstep. Luis responded straight away to every query I had and was a great host. Thank you
